The week finally came to an end in a great discomfort, as today is Friday making it end of the week, Logan thought it will be great to make me have a great misery that will last in my head for the weekend before Monday comes again.

So he succeeded in smashing my glasses on the floor and it cracked alot looking like a spider web, he did that on purpose because he knows I hardly see clearly without them,

I was glad the day has come to an end, I met Maya and Sam already waiting for me at the parking lot because i had to walk slowly and watch my step

I am glad I have another pair of glasses at home, because it would have taken long to get a new pair.

“What the hell happen bribri" gasped Sam

“I am hundred percent sure its the devil himself” said Maya with a scowl on her face

“Yeah right Logan, what happen?” asked Sam

“Well after our history class he stopped at my desk, and decided to make fun of me, so he ended up taking my glasses and smashing it on the floor, come on let’s go girls”

“I am sorry bribri, you girls should head on I have to run to work my shift starts now” said Maya

“we could drop you, you know" said Sam  “don’t worry girls i got this" replied Maya with a straight face.

Maya left, she works at a restaurant down town to help keep up with the bills because her mom doesn’t care about anything relating to her daughter,

I got into the car with Sam, she will be dropping me off before heading home.

“I hate how Maya always hide her pain and struggle with us, but nevertheless it’s her choice all we just have to do is keep been there for her in a way we can till she decides to open up" I said feeling sad

“Yeah that’s it, everyone has a silent battle they are all fighting, just look at me and my parents, being the only child sucks and they are been over protective of me talking to boys and i always have to follow what they want, what about what i want.... well maybe someday i can be able to stand up against them for myself” Sam said sounding defeated

“It’s okay Sam" I squeezed her shoulders for reassurance everything will be okay some day.

We arrived at my house and opposite our house we saw the three devils, they where all working on their cars and laughing about only God knows what.

We live opposite each other with the twins and our mothers are friends.

Immediately Sam made a stop at the front of our house “Great!” i said
“Sam this what will happen immediately i am out of this car zoom off as fast as you can, as for me I will rush in to avoid more embarrassment, okay?”

“Okay" she said holding the steering thigh.

Immediately the three devil noticed us they stop laughing and my heart sank into my stomach.

I couldn’t see too clearly i manage to rush out of the car and Sam zoomed off as I told her, as for me I ran in quickly and shot the doors behind me while leaning against it with my eyes shut, i could still hear Logan’s voice shouting scary cat.

I sighted in relief and I opened my eyes to see Damian watching me from the sofa

“What was that for, you look as if you have seen a ghost" he said

And at that moment i felt nothing but happiness wash through me and i forgot all my worries,

Immediately i dropped my back on the floor and rush to him, while hugging him we fell from the sofa
“Ouch!!!” he said in pain “you will pay for this" he said and i laughed

Oh how i have missed him but i will never admit it to his face because of his ego,

We stood up and sat on the sofa “hey what happened to your glasses?” he said raising one of his eyebrow

“Not a big deal, i missed my step and fell” i shrugged

“Sure?” he asked as if not believing what I said
“Yes didi, and hey aren’t you suppose to be back Saturday morning? Why are you back early?” I questioned him

“Well i have a match tomorrow morning, plus I just want to surprise you, and I also want us to go somewhere to night” he said the last part whispering into my ear, and immediately my face light up

“Seriously didi, where?”

“We are going to a friends party, and you know as you been my only girlfriend whom I love showing off you must accompany me" he said with a smirk on his face.

My elder brother has been everything to me in this life his more than a best friend if there is something like that, that applies to siblings

So i am living a double life, he brought the idea he said i am too boring and nerdy i need to explore and learn alot about happy moments in life before i go to college, because i am a book worm, apart from art i only have 2 friends and no boys.

So we started this routine last month and I have been enjoying it so far, literally I have been following him for outting and his basketball matches/practice

Now that’s our secret even Diana doesn’t know because well she has been distant lately.

“Awww, seriously i can’t wait. Now where is everyone the house seems quite” i said turning around looking everywhere

“Mom and Dad won’t be around for the weekend, they went over to grand pops, heard them talking about something relating to the family business” he said absent mindedly

“and Diana?”

“Upstairs I guess"

“okay let me change will be down in a giffy"

“Hurry and come let’s make chicken taquitos" upon hearing that I ran upstairs jumping on my toes.

We where all goofing around all in the name of making a meal tho i am just helping Damian out,

Diana came in “are you guys okay, oh my God what are you guys cooking?”
she sniffed the aroma in the kitchen and smile a little which its been a while i see that smile

Damian was still backing her doing his business on the cooker, so i replied her “chicken taquitos, hey you smiled Diana i am glad”

“Mind your business little one" she said while glaring at me

“Tell me when you all are done so i can join you guys, my tommy is alright crying"

Damian’s back stiff, she was about heading out of the kitchen when he finally replied her still backing her “As you wish princess but don’t ever talk to Brielle like that around me" i could feel anger in his voice

She shivered a little but masked it and left us,

I noticed the thick tension between them and whatever it is Diana is hiding from me i know now definitely Damian is aware, and i made a mental note to find out what she’s hiding from me.
