I woke up to the sound of a knock on the door and followed by Damian’s voice.
“Brielle are you up?”

“Yes Didi." I said with a sleepy voice and he opened the door slightly.

“Wakeup sleepy head. It’s time for basketball.” he said making funny faces. I laughed and threw a pillow at him “We are not leaving early today.
We leave by 10 but then get ready so you can eat and take your drugs. Okay."

“Yes captain.” I said back. He smiled and closed the door, I turned to look at Diana who was sleeping peacefully on the other end of the bed. Last night I slept in her room. I yawned and turned to look at the time which was reading 8:10a.m.

I am glad we are back to normal with my sister. I got up and went to my room to have a bath and get dressed. I am finally taking my friends advice, no more hidden Daisy, I am bringing her into my life no more nerdy dressing.

I finally got out of the bathroom, the weather looks damn cloudy today so I picked a black hoody and a black jeans, matching it with a with white sneakers. I packed my hair in a ponytail style and wore my contact lens. My nerdy glasses is placed neatly in my drawer, then I closed it. Before I head downstairs I went to Diana’s room. She’s awake but still on bed, “Feeling lazy to get up huh." I said sitting beside her bed.

“Wow brielle what’s up with the new transformation?” she said while sitting down to observe me more. I smiled and said, “Well no more nerdy Brielle. I am done hiding behind those nerdy looks." I said while smiling.

“Now that’s more like it. I am happy for you sis. So, where to?” she asked me, “I am following Didi to the basketball court as usual. Alright, see you later." I said back.

“Alright be careful and take care." she said while laying down back on her bed and I left her room. Going downstairs I felt the same bad feeling I had at the pit of my stomach just like last week but I shaked the feeling off, I don’t want it to mean anything.

I met Damian in the kitchen already doing best what he knows how to do, cooking pancakes.

“Morning chef and what do we have for breakfast?” I said grinning from ear to ear.

“Hahaha chef indeed. I already made you coffee it’s on the kitchen table, hot choco with marshmallow as usual.” he said while flipping the last piece of pancake from the pan.

“Aww what will I do without you Didi." I cooed while hugging him, he gave me a tounge-out face and I laughed and sat by the kitchen table sipping my coffee. I looked at the window and the weather is still cloudy, it’s getting darker gradually and I checked my phone for weather forecast, indeed there will be a heavy rain today.

“Didi do you think it’s a good idea to go out today, the weather is looking pretty bad. And you know how I love to sleep when it’s raining.” I said to him.

“Yeah don’t worry honey, besides it won’t be a bad idea to play under the rain." he said back. “But I am having a bad feeling I don’t know why. You remember last week when I was having that feeling and I told you to please come back for me-" he cuts me off saying “And did I?” he said tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear. And I rolled my eyes at him.

“Alright. round up and take your drugs so we can leave.” he said. And when we where about stepping out of the house Dad called our attention, he was coming down from the stairs “You two are going out. Seriously! the weather looks bad." Dad said.

“Don’t worry Dad we will be okay." said Damain giving him a grin but Dad wasn’t smiling “Kids of this days.” He said grumbling, “Alright then stay safe and come back early.” Dad said and went to the kitchen.

“Yes dad!” we all yelled and left. While entering the car my eyes locked with Logan from his balcony and he gave me a knowing smirk which I want to wipe off his face but then I choose to ignore him and entered the car.

We arrived at the pitch and I took my spot as usual bring out my drawing materials to draw while waiting for Damian to finish his business and I watch the match half way.

Surprisingly I saw myself drawing Logan’s face, I didn’t realise what I was doing till I almost sketched half way through “What the hell!" I snapped out of it.

“That doesn’t look bad." I heard a voice said behind me and I screamed when I saw it was Logan and I quickly shoved my book into my bag, “Stay off my path Logan, I have no business with you." I said in an angry tone, I stood up to leave when he held me back, “Oh no. Not so fast sassy pants. Of course you do, why then where you drawing me?” He smirked.

“Last I checked you have a twin. Now let me go." I struggled to free my hands from him.

“Funny sweetheart but that was me because I see you didn’t leave any detail untouched you included the little black spot I have below my lips. Now I know you do really fancy me." He said laughing but still holding my hands which was making me have some butterfly feelings in my stomach.

“Just leave me alone asshole I can never and will never fancy you because you are a big jerk and a bully." I said poking his chest with every word that came out from my mouth.

“She said leave her alone.” I heard Damian said few feets below the seats from us. Logan raise his hands in defence and let me go “Good.” Damian said.

I walked up to Damian and he smiled at me ruffling my hair as usual “Let’s go girlfriend.” Damian said and took my hand in his. I turned to look at Logan before we go and I saw a look of admiration and a smile on his face which I hardly see, I took my eyes off him and we left.

When we got to the car rain has already started falling. We where half way going home when the rain got heavy.

“Didi I think we should park and wait for the rain to subside you know-" I didn’t finish what I was saying when a truck came crashing at us from Damian's side and our car went up and landed on its head.

I was half conscious when I realized what happen “Damian.” I called his name silently. I was stuck on my seatbelt and a metal was pressed between my laps the scary thing was I couldn’t feel them. Damian looks badly injured and he was battling to open his eyes, he turned his head to look at me “Brielle.I want you to know something.” it was hard for him to speak, “Damian shhh, don’ talk please. Keep looking at me okay, we going to get out of here." I was already crying looking for my phone to call 911.

“Brielle listen to me please.” he pleaded and brought his right hand which was free to my face wipping away my tears I stopped what I was doing and looked at him. “Little one, you have always been a strong little woman I know. Even if you don’t see it yet...don’t let anyone break you and-" he was coughing and blood was coming out of his mouth “Damian no, no, no, don't give up on me, you hear me." my heart aches badly and I was seriously crying trying to get a hang of my phone. We need help.

“You know Logan might be an asshole but deep down I see love in his eyes. He is just showing you in the best way he knows how to get your attention....Brielle when he finally realizes what he has in front of him and when you finally realise your love for him too please don’t waste it but make sure you teach him a lesson.” Damian kept talking and I was seriously crying I finally found my phone but it was broken. I was feeling frustrated I don’t know what to do oh Lord please send help to us immediately. I silently prayed.

“Damian shut up, tell me all this when we are all okay not now please don’t leave me dimwit." I was shaking him.

“Please be awake for me okay.” I said but I myself was drifting from this world slowly but I have to be awake for us, till help arrives.

“Little one I love you so much and I will always be proud of you. Just know I am always with you and hold Diana tight you guys should not let go off each other." and that was it his eyes where close and his hands fell from my face.

“Nooooo!” I screamed “Don't die on my Didi. Don't!" I kept crying and shaking him to wake up.

"Brielle." I heard someone called my name.

"Logan is that you?" I said with a faint voice from all the crying and screaming.

"Don't worry help it's on its way." He said while poking his head in a way I could see him.

"You heard that Didi. Help is coming." I said to him while squeezing his cold hands.

I tried to stay awake but I just couldn't. Before darkness engulfed me I heard the sound of siren “Damian help is here, don't give up please.” and darkness took me too.
