Finally end of the week came, I hate school but I am happy tomorrow will be Saturday and Damian will be home. It was lunch time and we were all having our lunch at our usual spot.

“So, Bribri tell us what really happened yesterday.” Maya brought the topic back again.

“Girls, it’s still the usual. Logan warning me about what I don’t know and guess what, guys." I said, making them eager to hear what I was about to tell them.
“Shoot.” Maya said.

“Can you guys imagine my sister was been nice to me yesterday like no straight faces or ignoring me like she was trying to act cool. She wants us to get back to our usual sister bond.... but that’s impossible now." I said with a trail of sadness.

Sam squeezed my arm to give me comfort and she spoke up.
“I guess she just misses you and how did you react?” She asked.

“Or she just realized how bad she has fucked up and want to make amends or I will say she’s jealous of your bond with Didi.” Maya said, crunching on her tacos.

“Yeah I guess but that doesn’t mean she can just jump back in and try to be friendly with me again, she has to tell me what the hell went wrong.” I said, getting angry.

“I am not hungry anymore.” I said, getting on my feet to pick up my bag.

“Hey, where are you going?” Sam asked.
“See you all in English class, I need fresh air." I said, I was about turning around the corner of the block when I collided with Logan I stopped but then I pushed him.

“Get out of my way, asshole!” I need to punch something. I didn’t register what I just did to Logan but I heard him saying to the girls.

“So this is your hide out? By the way, what’s wrong with her?” I didn’t hear what they told him because I was far gone.

I walked into the gym and went straight to the punching bag and there and then I put out all the anger I was feeling in my chest to the poor bag.
After five minutes, I felt exhausted already so I picked my phone and called Damian but it went straight to voicemail.

“Hey, get back to class young lady, break period is already over." I heard our gym teacher yell at me, I rolled my eyes.
“Yes, sir" I said back.

I came out of gym and true, lunch period was already over but I was not in the mood to attend any class or face Logan. I guess I will just ditch the rest of the  classes which is unlike me. I made sure I came out of school unnoticed by the security guard.

Thank goodness, I didn’t bring my bike to school because Sam brought me today.
I took a cab home. My phone has been buzzing with messages since from Maya and Sam asking where I was, before I opened the front door, I quickly gave them a reply.

“I ditched classes, I am home already. See you guys tomorrow and talk later." _B

I got into the house and it seems quiet, afterall I wasn’t expecting anyone home by this time of the day. I was about laying down on the sofa for few minutes before I head to my room when I heard noise coming from upstairs. It was as if two people were having a heated argument. Gosh! Who could those be?

I took my self upstairs and the yelling was coming from Diana’s room and the other voice sounds like Damian's voice. What? No way!

Diana’s room door was left ajar a little so I walked to the door and stop when I heard their argument.

“......I am back for my semester break and this nonsense has to stop. Brielle told me about your little act last night, for crying out loud stop playing with her emotions. She’s your kid sister. You are supposed to protect her and not add up to her misery." Damian said and my heart kept racing because they are talking about me, so I stood still but not too close so they won’t notice my presence.

“You think I don’t know that? That is why I called you as soon as possible, their is a bigger issue to tackle than my abortion, Damian!” Diana yelled back.

What abortion? My legs feel like jelly already. I hold my mouth tightly with my hands as my heart just broke hearing that but what does that have to do with me?

“You know you have to tell her the truth eventually, I hate how I can’t tell her what you did. Well, if you don’ tell her I will and what do you say about a bigger issue?” I heard Damian said

“Well, my friend called me who is not in our school or neighbourhood, she heard some boys saying some stupid stuff and she heard Brielle’s name which she was sure is my sister so she called me as soon as possible and I went over to her house...” She stopped talking.

“What is it Diana?” Damian said but then Diana broke into tears. I guess Damian made her sit because I heard sounds of them sitting by the bed.

“I am sorry, Didi. I am so sorry, it is all my fault and I know Bribri won’t forgive me for this." She sobbed harder and my heart kept beating faster for what I am about to hear.

“It’s okay, talk Diana you making me feel on edge. Talk, whatever it is we will protect our Bribri from it, Okay!” Damian said, trying to cajole her to reveal whatever was eating her up.

“Okay. Well it seems that Lucas is bound on breaking the reputation of this house. He made me do an abortion for him and now he wants to destroy Brielle’s life too, my friend said she overheard her brother talking with some of his friends saying they want to drug some girls at a coming party and use them, as for Lucas he wants to use Brielle and video tape her. He knows she has a crush on him so he wants to use that against her and he is going to be paid. I think from someone in our school; a girl, but she couldn’t get the name of who is making him to do this.” She said.

And there and then my heart broke into tiny pieces. Hearing all the information Diana just divulged, my eyes were already teary. Why did I come back home? Not willing to hide anymore, I opened the door.

“Tell me all you said is a lie." I said and they were both shocked to see me but before they could say anything I fell to the ground and darkness engulfed me.
