We kept doing our lunch routine and I have been doing great at ignoring the twins. Today is already Thursday and I am looking forward to weekend because I can't wait to meet Didi.

The bell rang indicating closing period and I got out of class going to my locker to drop some books when I felt someone grab me from behind and pushed me into the janitors closet. What is happening?

"Will you stay still, sassy pants?" Logan said, turning me around to face him and our bodies were kind of pressed to each other because of how small the room was.

"Oh, Logan and to what do I owe this surprise abduction?" I said while trying to create a space between us.

"Whatever. I see you have beeen doing great at ignoring me, huh!" He said.

I scoffed and he continued "Where have you girls been hiding during lunch?" He asked.

"It is none of your business, Logan." I said back with a bored expression still trying to make a barrier between the both of us because I wasn't comfortable with how close we were.

"Anyways I just wanted to warn you." He said, dropping his act and I could see his real emotions behind that masked face. He looks exhausted and worry etched all over his face.

"What's wrong Logan? You are making me scared." I said.

"I....am..I...you know what I just want you to know I am the good guy and when ever you need someone to be there for you just know I will always be here for you." He said while shuttering, wow am I dreaming? What is all going on??!

"What's going on Logan, don't freaking shut me out too, you all are driving me crazy." I said, screaming at him because I was getting angry and I am tired of all that's going on.

"You know what? Forget I even said anything, just stay away from my brother." Logan said while masking his facial expressions. Brooding Logan is back. He pushed me and opened the door walking out but no, he can't just leave me hanging like that.

I balanced myself and opened the door. Thank goodness he hasn't gone far so I shouted behind him.

"You know what, Logan you are such a jerk, a big asshole!" Luckily for me, the hallway was already empty with just a few students and they were all starring at me due to my outburst. He didn't turn but he replied me back as he walked away.

"Time shall tell, sassy pants."

I hit the wall with my fist out of annoyance. "Hey,stop that." I felt someone grabbed my hand and I turned to face Sam and Maya, I just rolled my eyes at them and walked to my locker and dump some books and I hit the locker hard while closing it.

"What was that all about, between you and Logan." Sam said.

I looked at them, I never realized they where close by.

"Yeah we saw the little drama and girl, I am so proud of you for not shutting up for once." Maya said with all excitement in her voice.

So I laughed and they where all looking at me like I have grown two heads "What's so funny?" Sam asked.

"That was so funny, one minute I am angry and now I am laughing at my own crazy outcome, who will ever say I will talk back at my bully so that sounds hilarious."

And they all joined me laughing while we head out of the school premises.

Getting back home, I met an empty house so before going to my room I went to the kitchen to get myself what to eat, I might as well prepare a meal for the whole house, after all. I dropped my bag on the counter and got to business.

I was to prepare spaghetti and meatballs because I was in the mood. I was so engrossed in my cooking that I didn't hear the front door open.

"What are you cooking and why?" I got startled and I turned to face Diana, I put my hand on my chest and said.

"Don't do that again, you scared me."

"Sorry." She said and went to the fridge, she picked an Orange juice and sat on the chair close to the kitchen counter. I kept looking at her because this weird. Daina never sat in the same room with me for long since she became cold towards me.

"Stop staring, you haven't answered me." She said, sipping her juice.

"Oh, and why are you so interested in talking to me all of a sudden, missy?" I said back with sarcasm.

I noticed she looked nervous like she wants to say something but then I guess she changed her mind.

"Never mind." She said instead.

"I thought as much." I muttered and I saw the look of guilt on her face but then I don't have the energy for a comeback right now so I went back to my cooking.

Diana stood up and I guess she went to her room. I was half way through when I heard her coming back downstairs then I was chopping the onions because it was the finishing touching for me.

"Hey..ermm... can I help you with anything?" Diana said.

"Nope" I said popping the 'p'.

"Come on, please." I saw the plea in her eyes.

"I don't know why you suddenly want to get close to me. But if you know you ain't going to open up don't even start trying to pretend we are all cool." I said under one breath.

"But then I am almost done, you just help me by checking if it is cooked." I instructed her.

She did as I said and we finished the last minute cooking in silence.

By the time we were done, it was almost to 4:30p.m.

"I am sure mom and dad will be back in few minutes, prepare the dining let me go shower, will you?" I said to Daina with a straight face.

"Sure, go ahead." She said while smiling, now this is weird, oh well I picked my bag and went to my room.

I freshened up and I picked out sweatpants as usual and a vest top. I sprayed some body mist and wore my glasses and I head downstairs skipping two stairs at a time like I always do. I saw dad in the living room holding a glass of wine and he was facing the shelf so I hugged him from behind.

"Hey, Dad."

"Wow, Brielle. Do you want to give me a heart attack?" He said, laughing and he was tickling me.

"Alright, father and daughter moment is over. I am starving, get your buts in the dining area." mom said and waved us off.

"Right behind you! Alright let's go." dad said.

Well the dining was already set, all thanks to Diana. Both Mom and Diana were already sitted so me and Dad took our seats. I was serving my self when I heard Dad spoke.

"And what's up with the change of mind of eating together now, my princess?" That's what dad calls Diana. Me and mom looked at her.

"Nothing, dad I just miss eating with you all." Diana said, smiling and dad nods his head but me and mom didn't buy it.

"Bribri, I am glad you cooked today. It's been weeks that happened and I was even tired to cook anything anyways. Bless you my child " Mom said, smiling and stretching her hands to pat my head.

"Always mom, but then Diana helped out too." I said, smiling and because I just wanted to include her in the conversation not to feel left out.

"Oh really, wow Diana in the kitchen, now that's a shocker. Alright. Well done, young ladies." Mom smiled but half way and that was how dinner went. I badly miss Didi now. I couldn't wait to go to bed and call him to gist him about what happened today from Logan to Diana.
