My alarm woke me up, I groaned and covered my face with my pillow. After 10 minutes, I finally got off my bed. I finally got dressed wearing a short gown and a sneaker then I combed my hair and tied it in a bun, I wore my glasses and picked my bag.

Going downstairs, I met Diana, our eyes locked but then I shrug her off and head downstairs and she followed behind me, for the past few days I learnt to ignore her too and mask my emotions. After all, she has made it seem like I was a disease to her, whatever she’s hiding from me she will tell me when she’s ready just like Damian said.

I ate my breakfast which mom already left for us on the table because she had to rush to work. When I was done, I took my bike and rode to school.
Getting to school, I packed my bike at a space where anyone with bikes also keep theirs.

The bell rang already indicating morning class is about to begin and I rushed to class. The class is filled up and I sat at my usual sit, just before  Mrs. Grace came in and began her class. I am surprised how Logan didn’t torture me in class but then it’s Logan we are talking about here, I won’t be surprised at all. At the end of the class, Mrs. Grace called my attention.
“Brielle!”

“Yes, ma'am.” I said.

“I am waiting for my weekly report.” She looked at me while taking off her glasses and put it back in its case.

I wasn’t looking at Logan but I could feel his stare at the back of my head because they always sit at the back of the class; him and Alex.
I picked my bag and pick out the form I filled and went to pass it to her.

“Here you go, ma’am.” I stretched my hands and she collected them from me.

“I hope he wasn’t hard on you, and how was his behaviour?” She said with a worried look on her face.
“Don’t worry, Mrs. Grace. He is not that bad and whatever you need to know it’s all written down." I gave her a quick smile.

“Alright. Class dismissed, you should go for your next class.” She shouted.
And I hurriedly turned my back to her and left the class but I couldn’t miss the look Logan gave me.

The remaining two periods went by in a flash and I am glad I was able to avoid Logan all through. Though me and Lucas didn’t interact much in Chemistry class because I am trying to heed to the warning his twin gave me and besides we were separated today In class which I was glad.

Whatever they are all hiding form me I need to find out as soon as possible as I can’t bear living with the feeling of being shutout and the one who despise me the most is even warning me like he freaking cares.

Lost in my thoughts, I collided into a wall just outside the cafeteria.
“What’s wrong with you? Do you need more glasses, sassy pants?”  Wait what,when did walls start talking? I adjusted my glasses and looked up. I was met with an angry looking Logan.

“Great!” I said under my breath. I took an inch back and apologised.

“Keep your apology,I don’t need it just watch your way next time." He said while pushing me out of the way and everyone was laughing at me. Nice one,  Devil. ,I will soon get back at you.

“Fuck off, everyone and learn to mind your business.” I heard someone shout behind me and I turned to see Maya.

“Come with me." She said while dragging my hands.
“Where are we going? It is lunch time, May and Hello, the cafeteria is over there" I said in between breaths.

“Shut up, will you." and I did exactly what she said.
We got to the school football field and I still look confuse on what we are doing here but then she didn’t stop. We went behind the seats because there is a big space enough for someone to stand and it’s covered in grasses too and that’s when I noticed Sam too was sitting there with food spread on a small mat like we're having a picnic.

“What is all this May and Sam?” I asked the both of them.

“Come on, sit and we shall talk.” Sam said, I then went over and sat close to Sam in the midst of all this food and my stomach already is growling and they just laughed at me.
“Bribri and food.” Maya said in-between laughter, I couldn’t wait for their explanation so I picked a sandwich and started munching on it.

“Okay. Is this like a picnic in the middle of school or are we celebrating something?” I asked them. Sam chuckled and answered my question.

“From now on, we will be having our lunch here. I am so fed up with the way we all are being bullied in the cafeteria. At least, we just have a year to graduate now and it was Maya's idea. Also, it is quiet here to relax in-between the tension.” She said.

I stopped eating “But it feels like we are running away besides they will eventually find out our hiding place when they all notice our absence in the cafe.” I said.

“And this, I won’t allow them to come and bully us here. I only tolerate it there because you all don’t want me to throw my fits at them. So if anyone of them comes here then I will definitely use them as my punching bag. Gosh! I miss punching faces."
Maya said and we all give her a weird look.

“Alright, girls. What will I do without you both in my life but wait Sam how did the food get here?” I said.

“Well I packed all this from home I told mom I will be having a little picnic with you both after school and trust my mom to package a whole lot.” She said while laughing.

“Alright, then. Since you have made here technically our eating table we should be wrapping something to school then since we won’t get food from the cafeteria. Maya and please, you don’t have to feel uncomfortable about this okay we are sisters and we won’t judge you.”
I said the last part because we all know the situation she’s facing at home with her mom and having to work in-between school to make ends meet.

“Don’t even start this. You know me, I do what I want to do so just cut it okay." She gave a look that says she doesn’t want to argue about this whole topic.

“Alright, ma'am. I won’t talk again." I smiled and picked a sandwich and push it in her mouth, she smiled.
Lunch was so great with the girls. At least we all ate in peace and kept chatting like we always do. The rest of the day went in a blur and I was so glad I didn’t really have to encounter Logan much in school today. I wish the week would turn out like this.

We all met in the parking lot and Maya bade us bye because she was heading to town to work. I bade Sam too because I am riding home today and then I head home.
