I hold the note Mot left me in my trembling hands. He wouldn't want me to cry but it still hurts.

Dear Dia,

Heroes don't exist Dia, and even if they did, I wouldn't be one of them. I did what I did because I knew people needed you. And I couldn't stand to live knowing you died for me. I'd never be able to live without you. I love you so much Dia. We gotta talk about Piper now. I know what she did to me and you has horrible, but Dia you gotta forgive her. She needs you. Can you do that for me? Forgive her.

I did forgive Piper, but I'll never forget. "Dad wouldn't want you to be upset." Alyssa whispers as she sits next to me on the bed.

"I miss him Lyssa Lu!" I sob and she holds me close to her. "Faylinn needs you." Alyssa whispers once I calm down.

I walk downstairs to find my blonde haired blue eyed daughter crying.

"I never even met him, but he seems so brave. Why Dad? Why'd he have to go so soon!?!" Faylinn sobs.

She runs and jumps into my arms. "I know it hurts sweetheart but he lived an amazing life. And he's watching over you. Never forget that." I whisper.

I set Faylinn down and wipe her tears. "Now let me see you smile. Today's a big day."

"The teen choice awards is today right?" Piper asks. Her and Tom walk in hand in hand.

"Piper, Tom!" Faylinn yells and runs and jumps into Tom's arms. "Whoa hey there kiddo!"

Tom sends me a sad smile as he sets Faylinn down.

"And yes today is the teens choice awards." Faylinn smiles and Piper continues their conversation.

Tom makes his way over to me. He wraps his arms around me and I hug him back.

"You doing ok?" He asks softly. "Yea. Just don't mention it around...."

"Yea I know. Happy thoughts!" Tom laughs before wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Dianite can I talk to you?" Piper asks and I take her outside.

"Why'd you forgive me? Why now after all this time." She asks.

"Because that's what Mot wanted. You need me Piper and Mot would want me to be here for you." I say gently.

Tears fall from Piper's eyes as she looks up at me. "I still think it should've been me." She cries.

I wipe her tears before bringing her into a hug. "Don't say that."

She pulls away and fakes a smile before walking back in.

"I love you guys." Faylinn says and I laugh under my breath.

"We love you too Jojo." Tom uses a nickname Tony gave her when she was just an infant. It stuck.

Faylinn runs over and kisses my hand. "From Mot." She whispers a wide grin is spread across her face.
