S2 Dianite's Pov

I watch Mot, Alyssa, and Piper from afar. The three of them sit on the edge of a bluff, Piper and Alyssa are basically killing time for me.

The sun begins to set signalling it's time.

Mot's Pov

Alyssa sends me a sad smile as we watch the sun set. "Dad do you think you'd ever get married?" Alyssa asks.

"I don't know that's a big commitment." I answer honestly. The girls suddenly move from beside me and I turn to see Dia stood behind me.

He gently takes my hand and helps me stand up. "Mot I-" Dia pulls a small box from his pocket before......getting down on one knee.

I now notice everyone here! The four heroes and their partners, even Mianite and Ianite!

"Mot you've been my champion for as long as I care to remember and I've always felt some sort of connection between us. We've fought many battles together and if it weren't for you I probably wouldn't even be here. But as our time here has gone on I've grown to realize the special bond I have for you is love. Mot Justice Screziato (a/n *facepalm) will you make me the happiest person in every realm and be my husband?"

That.did.not.just.happen. H-he wants to marry m-me!

Tears spill from my eyes. "Y-yes!" I sob and Dia smiles that amazing smile of his. He slides the stunning black diamond (bc I can't describe that ring to save my life!) Ring on my finger. Everyone claps and cheers for us!

The second he stands up I jump into his arms. "This way we'll be together forever, even after death." Dia whispers to me.

I just nod and attempt to calm myself. Dia sets me back down then kisses me gently.

"I love you boyo." He says softly as a tear falls from his eyes.

"I love you too Dia!" We share one more quick but passionate kiss.

"Alyssa go over there!" Capsize excitedly yells.

Alyssa runs over to me and wraps her arms around me. She's crying too. "Congratulations." She says as she pulls away. Dia hugs her and kisses her head.

"You guys are the sweetest family ever!" Hikari giggles.

"Come here kiddo!" Spark calls as he makes his way over to me. "Told ya you'd have your moment one day!" He jokes as we part from our hug.

"You were right Spark."

"I'm always right!" Everyone giggles. I look up at Dia who is still smiling. "THE WEDDING TEMPLE!!!!!!" Tucker blurts then him, Jordan, and Capsize burst out laughing.

"IT'S FINALLY GONNA BE PUT TO USE!!! I KNEW I DID ALL THAT WORK FOR SOMETHING!!!"

Dia snakes his hand around my waist and pulls me close to him. "Well who's next? Wag Martha?" One of the Wizards teases but I can tell James didn't take lightly to the situation.

"Congratulations Mot." Martha says softly. "Mom would've done anything to see that." I notice a tear roll down Martha's pale cheek.

"She'd be walking Mot down the is....." Spark keeps talking but all I can focus on is Dia's tears.

"Hey Alyssa you finally get to be in a wedding!" I change the topic which seems to cause Dia to relax a bit.

"I know!! After all these years (*wink wink*) of waiting I finally get to!" As the conversations die down everyone starts to thin out.

Piper and the other girls head back go the house leaving Dia and I alone. We sit on the edge of the bluf and let our feet dangle over the edge.

"Mot you gotta promise me something." Dia says just as the day turns to night.

"And what is that?" I ask and take Dia's hand in mine. "Promise me-" Dia's voice cracks. Oh Dia please don't cry.

"Promise me that you'll fight for yourself. Because if I live and you d-die...." Dia let's his voice die out.

"Dia...." I feel myself about to break down. "Mot you have people here. Alyssa, Martha, Spark all of them need you." Dia pauses and shakes his head.

"They don't need me. You can't give all of them up for me. As your god I refuse to let that happen."

I release Dia's hand and wrap his arm around my shoulders. He rubs his hand up and down my arm as I snuggle into his chest.

"But I can't live without you." I begin to sob uncontrollably as Dia holds me close to him.

"Mot I need you to calm down. I need you to stay strong and show these people we aren't weak. That Motanite is a force to be reckoned with." Dia's words make me want to cry more but I'll man up for him.

I sigh and try to pull away but Dia just holds me tighter. "Not yet." He mumbles.

"Now Dia you have to promise me something." I say and pull away. He just nods.

"When we get married this war will not be mentioned on our big day. That is our day to be happy and stress free. Promise that it won't come up?" I say whist staring into Dia's eyes.

"I promise my love." Dia leans in and gently kisses me. We pull away for breath but shortly after we relive the kiss.

"Let's go home."
