Dianite's Pov

I teleport to Alyssa who is at the docks. "Alyssa you needed me?" The second I finish my sentence she's in my arms crying.

"What's wrong kiddo?" I ask her as she pulls away. Alyssa sighs and pulls back her hair.

Large handprint bruises are on her neck. "It wasn't the first time." Alyssa sounds like she's loosing her sanity.

"Did Jerriah h-"

"He did more than hit me. He abused me in every way possible."

"She's lying! I never, nor would I ever, lay a finger on her." Jerriah manipulates, but Alyssa's pleading eyes tell a different story.

You have to believe me. Alyssa thinks; she's a smart girl. "Listen Jerriah. I'm not gonna hurt you for what you've done." I say and step closer to him.

"Y-you're not?" Jerriah asks. "Leave. Get as far away from me and my family as you can." I order. "Y-yessir." Jerriah mumbles and turns to leave.

Alyssa's Pov

I watch as Jerriah walks away with his head held low. No, I can't let him leave. It's his child I'm carrying.

"JERRIAH WAIT!" I yell before running to him. He's crying. I hug him for what I fear is gonna be the last time.

"Alyssa look at me." Jerriah orders and I obey. "You deserve so much better than me. I'm no man and I'm certainly no hero. You raise our kid to be the exact opposite of me." As I begin to break down he hugs me again.

"You're a crazy strong girl Lyssa. Times are about to get real rough for both of us." He pauses and pulls away again.

"I meant to give you this before....you know." He says and pulls out a gold bracelet with a heart that clips it together. I notice he's wearing one that's similar but more masculine.

"Two of a kind, I made sure there wasn't any like these." Jerriah pauses and reaches to touch my cheek. I end up flinching but calm once I realize he's just wiping away my tears. I notices he's begun crying again.

"You're so beautiful Alyssa. Don't let anyone ever tell you different." I place my hand over Jerriah's. "I love you." My words only make him cry more.

"Don't say that." He whispers and moves close enough to me that he can place his forehead on mine.

"You loved me." I say quietly. "More than anything in this world." Jerriah finishes. "I gotta go." Jerriah mumbles.

Tom shouts something but I trust Dianite can hold him back. "Please don't leave me!" I beg but Jerriah yet again rebels.

"Don't cry! I love you Alyssa! I'm sorry for everything, this included." He's panicking, so am I!

"One last kiss." I whisper to him, this time hearing Jordan shouting at Tom.

Jerriah smiles sadly before pressing his lips to mine, gently. The kiss isn't rushed or forced, but perfect.

We part for air and without another word Jerriah runs off. I watch him leave. Leave me, our kid, our future.

Mot's Pov

He doesn't love you! He pities you. How could you be so stupid.

No the voices are lying! Dia loves me very much.

If he loved you he'd be here for you! Not leaving you worried.

Stop! Leave me alone! "Mot you ok?" Dec asks and I nod. "Yeah I'm fine."

"You worried about Dianite?" He asks just as my vision blurs. I reach for my oxygen and place the thing on.

"Your oxygen levels were fine Mot." Dec warns, but I don't care. "My vision got fuzzy..." My protests get me nothing but eye rolls.

"I'm not faking!" I shout anger filling me entirely. "Mot you should be fully recovered by now. It's become obvi-"

"I DIED TWICE DEC! I'M NOT FAKING!" My anger turns into tears. Why would they think I'm faking?

You should've stayed dead! They don't want you here anyways.

I shake the voices away yet again. They only go away when Dia's around.

"Jerriah left." Alyssa says which snaps me from my trance. "What why?!" Jordan and Tom exchange glances.

Alyssa just starts sobbing and I move over so she can sit next to me. She ends up sobbing into my chest.

"Alyssa talk to me what's going on?" I ask softly. "I.....he.....Tom." Alyssa just continues to cry in my arms.

"Jerriah raped Alyssa and got her pregnant. Not to mention the constant abuse for the past 5 days. When Dianite found out he made him leave." Tom explains the situation like it's nothing!

"Alyssa why didn't you tell me?!" I say gently. "I-I was scared you'd hate me. For letting him take advantage of me."

"I'd never be mad at you for that Alyssa!" Tears run down my cheeks as I hold my daughter close. "Tom I gotta get home. Capsize is gonna get worried." Jordan says before wrapping Tom in his arms.

"Tom let's give these two a second." Dec says and they walk out, leaving Alyssa and I alone.

"I'm so sorry Alyssa. I should've been there for you." I say as she pulls away. "No there's nothing you could've done. *sigh* I'm not ready to be a mother." She says while wiping tears from her eyes.

"Listen I'm not gonna let you kill it. When you deliver the child Dia and I will take it. That is if your mind hasn't changed." I tuck a piece of Alyssa's long dark brown hair behind her ear.

"And if you need anything, and I mean anything, during this pregnancy know that I am here." Alyssa wraps her arms around me and instantly I hug back.

"I love you dad."

"I love you too princess."
