Dianite's Pov

I wake up snuggled into Mot's chest. He's still sleeping soundly a small smile is spread across his face. I don't move just close my eyes and fight the urge to cry.

We need to talk, in person

I sigh and pull from Mot's grasp careful not to wake him up. With a snap of my fingers I'm dressed.

Once I'm down stairs I cook Mot a quick breakfast of french toast. I decide to leave a note just so he won't worry.

I'm off doing godly things. I'll be back before dinner. Love you -Dia

Mianite's Pov

Both Dianite and Jordan look tired and sad. I shouldn't have let them see her yet.

"She isn't getting any better." I finally blurt. "W-what?"

"She refused her meds last night. Ianite's to weak to help herself. I sat up with her last night, she just stared at the ceiling. I couldn't read her mind." I answer Jordan. He begins to cry. "I-I lost her once already!" Jordan lets all of his feelings show but Dianite is emotionless. "Come here boyo." He says then takes Jordan into a hug.

"You need to go see Syndy. Talk to him and let him help you." Dianite orders and Jordan obeys. "Can I get a tele-" Dianite must've teleported him midsentence. "Now can I see her?" He asks me all his emotions now readable. Of course I let him. I feel like this Dianite is more trustworthy than the Dianite I grew up with. Let's just hope my judgment is correct.

Mot's Pov

Alyssa and I walk along the coastline silently. "Its beautiful here." I say to break the silence. Alyssa looks back at me and blushes slightly. She knows. I feel like I could vomit. "So if I don't say this now I'm never gonna." Alyssa says then pauses to make sure I'm paying attention.

"How was being a penguin?" She barley makes it through her sentence before bursting out laughing. "Tom, I'm assuming, told you." I say awkwardly. "And it wasn't very fun." I answer, jogging to catch up with Alyssa.

"Jerriah left on a business trip this morning."

"Oh. I'm sorry?" I reply and throw an arm around my sweet little girl who isn't so little anymore. "I remember when you used to sing and force me and Dia to listen. You always called it your pre-concerts. You remember what you're favorite song was?" I ask her just to see her smile. She does.

"Again by Flyleaf. I still know every word to that song." She wraps her arm around my waist. "I remember the time Dianite took me to a recording studio when I was 8 then again when I was 12. You got mad both times." She laughs a little.

"I miss that. When we'd all just be happy together. Its not the same anymore. It hasn't been the same since Dianite's death." I stop when she says this. "What do you mean?" I ask.

"I'm not sure how to explain it." She's lying I can tell. "Yes you do. You just don't want to tell me." I respond.

"I mean you act like no one can see the fear in your eyes when Dia's away. There's always stress, stress and secrets."

I take Alyssa back to my house silently. Dia's gonna hate me for this but I'm gonna tell her what happened to Ruxomar.

"What do you want to know? I'll try my best to answer everything." I blurt and I see Alyssa's eyes light up.

"Where's Andor and Gaines? Didn't they want to come back too?" She asks as we sit on the couch.

"We waited at the portal for as long as we could for both of them. They never came." I speak slowly. I know what she's about to ask.

"What happened that forced you all to come here?"

"Don't answer that." Dia snaps causing my eyes to water. "Dia I-"

"Mot I'm really not in the mood." He snaps. "Alyssa I'm sorry." I whisper and look down so I don't have to see her disappointed look.

"Dad you promised!" Alyssa yells and I feel tears start falling. "Mot stop the tears." I'm sick of his orders.

"Ianite died causing a man to want her quintessence for all the wrong reasons. Jordan was stupid and gave him the quintessence he needed to destroy our home and everyone in it." I say quickly. "Smite me all you want Dia she deserved to know."

Alyssa is pale and looks like she could get sick at any given moment. "I-I'm gonna go see Martha." She stutters before leaving. The second the door clicks shut behind her Dia starts yelling at me.

"I told you not to tell her!" He yells but I don't let it affect me. Whatever he went and did today got him really upset not me.

"I promised her Dia. I couldn't let her down again." I've never felt so small in my life.

"Are you forgetting that I'm your god!! Syndy listens to me more than you do anymore!"

"Are you forgetting that I gave my innocence to you." I mumble.

"It's time you toughen up! I'm sick of having to-" I get up and leave. I can't take this, not from him.

It's pouring down rain of course. It always does when any of the gods are mad.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK AWAY!" Dia's shouts force me to look back at him.

"YOU THINK IT'S OK TO FUCK WITH MY MIND AND MAKE ME FEEL HORRIBLE ABOUT MYSELF JUST BECAUSE I TOLD MY DAUGHTER WHAT BECAME OF HER HOME!" I'm sobbing now.

"STOP WITH THE TEARS NOW!" He shouts causing lighting to arupt in the skies.

I just shake my head and run off into the storm.
