Chapter 31- No Superstitions

I've said a lot about superstitions from Chapter one but... The truth is that superstitions are nothing but superstitions. Based on my research on this topic, Superstitions only happens to those who believe in it.

Thousands of years ago in Africa, There were only Idol worshipping in every household. This built fear to the hearts and minds of the worship not to pull the wrath of the gods of the land. Every tribe has thousands of this beliefs and superstition.

Some times, certain things happen to people involved and they find it so difficult to get out of this situation... I mean, to break through the wall of traditional believes and superstitions. They end up having worse life experiences and terrible death because their is someone behind it. When I say 'someone behind it?' I mean the organizers of that group or tribe took a oath, a vow or swear that if anybody goes against their laws (the gods of the land). They would face these terrible experiences.

Long time ago in Africa, twins were killed. They were seen as bad luck and misfortune. Any woman that bore twins in those days, it is believed that the gods of the land are angry with her. They were signs of evil spirits since they looked identically the same. No one would live or relate with them in any way. Therefore, they were either killed, abandoned in the evil forest, or cast away from the town as it was an abomination to let them leave. Not until civilization came, screening and painting the wall of the past.

This is a very good example of superstition and believe... Many of these superstitions are long forgotten today.

Tradition is a way of life, life itself is true and real. So is living. Not all superstitions are false but it depends on what you believe. Yes, you! You reading this. What do you think? What do you belief? Feel free to share your thoughts with us.
