❝ CHAPTER 5 ❞
▌Chapter 5 ─ Blood Everywhere ▌
━━━━━ HOLLY WAS ON her bike, Prudence next to her also on her bike. They were with the other Losers heading to Beverly's place. Holly knew that something was off, and she wondered what it was. The boys were once again arguing but she didn't seem to care that much.
Holly stopped her bike just as Beverly slid down the grass slightly. Holly jumped off her bike letting it fall to the ground, her eyes were on Beverly.
"You made it. I... I need to show you something." Beverly told them.
"What is it?" Ben asked her.
"More than we saw at the quarry?" Richie asked her.
"Shut up, Richie." Holly said looking over at her friend.
"Shut up! Just shut up, Richie." Eddie added, clearly not happy with his friend.
"My dad will kill me if he finds out I had boys in the apartment."
"Then we-we'll leave a lookout. Richie, s-s-s-stay here." Bill ordered, dropping his bike.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! What if her dad comes back?" Richie asked them.
Holly made her way up the hill and over to the steps while Beverly led them over to the steps. Stanley turned back around to look at Richie.
"Do What you always do. Start talking." Stanley told him.
"It is a gift." Richie replied.
They followed behind Beverly as she led them to the bathroom. Beverly seemed to come to a stop, Holly looked over at her.
"In there." She said.
"What is it?" Stanley asked her.
"You'll see." They started to walk towards the bathroom slowly, not entirely sure what to expect.
"Are you taking us to your bathroom?" Eddie asked her. "I just want you to know that 89% of the worst accidents in homes are caused in bathrooms. And, I mean that's where all the bacteria and fungi are and it's not a really sanitary place..."
They all came to a stop, Bill placed his hand on the door and pushed it opened. The door slowly freaked up open revealing blood everywhere.
"I knew it!" Eddie said, gagging shortly after.
"You see it?" Beverly asked them.
"Yes." Eddie told her.
"What... What happened in here?" Stanley proceeded to ask her.
"My dad couldn't see it. I thought I might be going crazy."
"Well, if you're crazy then we're crazy." Ben told her.
"He's not wrong." Holly said, looking over at her new friend. Holly then placed her eyes on Prudence who looked at her.
"We c-can't leave it like this." Bill said, looking back at his friends. Bill was the first to walk forward. Holly followed behind him. The rest dispersed and gathered cleaning supplies. Holly and Prudence moved over to a wall and started cleaning the blood off the wall.
After they had finished helping Beverly clean the bathroom Holly and Prudence went outside waiting for the others to join them.
───── ☾☾☾ ─────
Holly walked her bike with the others minus Richie who was riding around them. Prudence was next to her, Holly had her eyes on Richie as he circled around them.
"No, I love your personal doorman, really. Could you idiots have taken any longer?" Richie asked them.
"All right, shut up, Richie." Eddie said.
"Yeah, shut up, Richie." Stanley added.
"Oh, okay, trash the trashmouth, I get it. Hey, I wasn't the one scrubbing the bathroom floor and imagining that her sink went all Eddie's mom's vagina on Halloween."
"She didn't imagine it." Bill said, soon coming to a stop. Holly stopped in her tracks looking at Bill knowing where this conversation was going. "I... I saw something, too."
"You saw blood, too?" Stanley asked, causing Bill to look at him.
"Not blood. I saw Georgie. It seemed so real. I mean, it seemed like him, but there was this..."
"The clown." Holly looked at Eddie. "Yeah, I saw him, too."
Bill looked at Ben who nodded his head, Bill then looked over at Stanley who didn't really answer with a nod but had a scared look on his face. Bill placed his eyes on Prudence who nodded her head. He then looked to Holly, she wasn't giving him any eye contact.
But the look alone was enough of an answer. Holly remembered what she had seen and it still scared her, she never wanted to see it again.
"Wait, can only virgins see this stuff? Is that why I'm not seeing this shit?" Richie asked them.
Before anything could really be heard, they all heard something in the distance. Holly lifted her head looking to see a car not far from them.
"Oh, shit that's Blech Huggins' car. We should probably get outta here."
"Yeah."
"Wait, isn't that the homeschooled kid's bike?"
"Yea, that's Mike's."
"And the other one belongs to Violet Grey." Holly said, causing the others to look at her.
"We have to help them." Beverly said, looking around at everyone.
"She's right." Prudence added.
"We should?" Richie asked them.
"Yes."
Beverly, Prudence and Holly were the first to drop their bikes and take off running. The three ran down to see Bowers over Mike, while one of Bower's goons held onto Violet. Beverly picked up a rock and threw it at Bowers. He fell off of Mike, looking at Beverly in shock.
The others came up standing with the girls, Stanley stood on the other side of Beverly. "Nice throw." Stanley told her.
"Thanks."
Holly picked up a set of rocks while Mike and Violet took off running over to them, splashing in the water. The rest of the Losers proceeded to pick up some rocks as they all looked at Bowers and his goons.
"You losers are trying too hard. She'll do you." Bowers said, walking towards the end of their side. "You just gotta ask nicely like it did."
Holly looked away disgusted by the teen. "Did your father not love you enough?" Holly asked, earning a glare from him.
Ben proceeded to yell, catching them all off guard. Ben then threw the rock right towards Bowers hitting him in the head.
"What the fuck?"
Beverly took the next throw followed by Holly and Prudence each of them hitting one of the guys. "Rock war!" Richie shouted, soon getting hit in the face with a rock.
The rock fight got more intense as each of the Losers proceeded to pick up more rocks and throw the, at the others. Eddie jumped into the stream and Holly followed right behind him. She continued to throw rocks at them, until Bower's goons left him behind.
Holly turned around and walked back over to Prudence, the two then walked over to Violet helping her off the ground. Richie of course was the last to stay behind.
"Go blow your dad, mullet-wearing asshole!" Richie shouted, shortly after he flipped him off and turned around catching up with his friends.
