So, I think this is a needed chapter of details and explanations that I'm pretty sure you'll find useful and interesting to understand more of the plot.

Cherubs
I bet everyone must've been very confused all along the first chapters because of these little creatures. Well, I gave you a lot of informations about them, but there are things not Taehyung and not even the painter William know, so I'll be your teacher for the day.

First of, Cherubs are technically not real. I'll explain: they do exist for the person who hears them, but those little creatures are kind of projections of this person's thoughts, so that's why they appear when a subject starts thinking about their crush, because their thoughts are so frequent that they materialize in a physical form, which in this case are the so called Cherubs. They disappear instead when feelings are confessed, for the simple reason that, having the weight off of an enamored person's chest, they stop worrying so much about their loved one.

Which brings us to the second point: why do people like Taehyung see these things if they're not even real? Well, the so called 'humans' like Tata are basically able to see and understand a certain percentage of other people's thoughts, they can be described as mind readers on a certain level.
They're very empathetic with others, they feel how people around them feel.

Someone once asked me if cherubs can see other cherubs (for instance, in the scene in chapter 13, when Giselle and Jungkook are in the same room). The reply is no, because they're not real one for the other, but only for their owners.

On what depends the number of cherubs is kind of a funny topic. A confused person who doesn't know what to do, how to act and if their crush reciprocates their love, is going to think about it over and over and over again, generating a huge number of cherubs (Jungkook is clearly in this category) while ones with their mind made up, that have crystal clear thoughts about what they're feeling can have even a single cherub (Like in Jimin's and Giselle's case)

Legends and Deities
I think I might have confused you will all the legend around the celebration of the Aèras, right? I'll remedy by putting order!

The original deities of Stoicheion were Choma, the Goddess of Earth, Aèras, Goddess of Air, and finally Aether, the two faced God of Ice and Fire.
What happened is that Choma and Aèras, scared by Aether's too powerful being, decided to kill him by spitting him in two with a sword. Dividing the two beings that formed Aether, they created Pagònia, Goddess of Ice, and Fòtia God of Fire. Aether might have been formed by two deities, but splitting them, Aether's heart remained to Fotia, while Pagonia had none, and from this comes the belief of Agàpe not having hearts, and Eros being too passionate.

 They came out as twin siblings, just kids, and both Aèras and Choma couldn't kill them for good being them so little and innocent. Having them both the mother instinct, they fought for who got to keep the two children, finding compromise in sharing. Choma took Pagonia with her in Yli, while Aèras took care of Fotia in Anemos.

Fotia grew up to become Aèras' lover, they had twelve sons, half of them were Air controllers, while the other half was made by Fire controllers. Together, they founded the first reign of Stoicheion, in Anemos. Unluckily, Fotia started to hate Aèras, and once he killed her while arguing, he took his loyal six Fire controllers and migrated towards the north of Stoicheion, founding a new kingdom in Pagos.

Meanwhile, Choma and Pagonia had grew distant between each other, Choma couldn't understand Pagonia's cold behaviors, and Pagonia couldn't bear Choma's too expansive mother-attitudes, so the young deity of Ice ran away to another place called Kafto.

Choma, heart broken from her loss, decided to create herself new sons and daughters from the Earth, with water, threes and dirty soil, giving birth to the first generation of Earth controllers.

Pagonia was doing just fine all alone in her new castle, she needn't no one but herself, until she realized that if she died, her race would die with her. She went to her twin brother, Fotia, asking for three young, healthy males that she could take away with her, because she felt alone. Fotia couldn't refuse, feeling sorry for his lonely twin, so his sister left with those three. Once back at the palace, she literally grasped those three Fire controller's heart out of their bodies, eating them, replacing those with hard, cold crystals. Like that, the four races were born.

Festivities
Fotia's is the first celebrated ceremony of the year. It comes on the first January of every year

Aèras' is the second to come, in May.

To follow, Choma, in August.

To end the year, Pagonia, in December.

In Stoicheion other big festivities are the Royal's birthdays, and other less important deities.

Stoicheion
Stoicheion as a country was actually made by a Queen ninety generation's prior to Jimin's. This woman, an Air controller, was the twenty fifth sovereign of Anemos, and for his family wanted to expand the land. Queen Danae of Anemos was the first one to manage the monarchy on the entire land, Joining all the four reigns of Yli, Anemos, Kafto and Pagonia under her power. Her heirs governed for three hundred years after her death, when the last one died without someone to leave the government to, the King became a Park, an Agàpe, those who had the most money and power out of all races, thanks to their lucrative, sunny lands. The power remained within the family, the blood line remained pure, clean, made of ice, until Park Yeo's father, Jimin's grandfather, decided to let a foreign in his family, Jenevieve Noailles, Jimin's mother.

It is still unknown what brought the late king to this decision, but Park Yeo, as we well know, brought the family back to the tradition, proposing as the next queen another Royal lady, Jimin's cousin Min Giselle.

 Supposing a baby's race
Okay, I guess this might be unexpected, but I'll do it anyway because I think it is kind of necessary .

So, a newborn race isn't one hundred percent sure until this ones manifests his abilities, yet you can tell a baby's race from their appearance already, with little to no exceptions.

In case the baby is still in the womb, there is just a method to know what race he'll be, and it is not always truthful.
The parents need to know who's the one between them who has the most controlled and powerful element, and most probably their child will inherit exactly that one!
For instance, Jungkook's parents have three children, two Eros and one Philia, which means that Jungkook's mom is clearly more powerful than his father.

Not a very trustworthy method, but it usually works.

History of Aethers
We all learnt now that Aether was actually the first two element controller, having within himself both Ice and Fire.

After him, around two hundreds years later, a new Aether was born. Name unknown, unknown provenience, he/she controlled Air and Fire. The stories about this being are very conflicting, so much that it's still unsure if those things ever even happened or if it s just a story. It's said that he/she was killed, cut in two halves by peasants who thought he/she might give birth to two new deities on earth, like it happened for Aether. He/she died at seventeen.

The third one appeared five hundreds of years later, seems to have been likely a woman called Alessandra, died at nineteen. She was an Earth and Air controller, just like the fourth, a child who died at the age of ten.
The fifth, Ice and Earth controller, died at twenty.
The sixt, Air and Ice controller, disappeared at nineteen years old and was never found again.
The seventh, and last one before Jimin's birth, three hundred years prior, died at twenty in mysterious, unknown circumstances. She was never found, her name was Letizia.
Then the Prince appeared, the first Fire and Ice controller after the original Aether.

So, if the stories are true, only eight Aether' succeeded one the other during the span of time of 2000 years.

Don't trust the Moon is a Jikook/Kookmin fanfiction that has to do with parallel universes that have connections though windows and mirrors. It's an alternative universes kind of story, in which Jimin and Jungkook can only see each other through a mirror, basically
