Aerlinniel POV

"Hey Tauriel. You ready to get started?" I ask her when we reach the room we are having Legolas Birthday Party in.

"Yes, I am so excited! Legolas is going to be so surprised." She says joyfully. "I wanted to get him something for his birthday, so I made him a brand new sheath to put his arrows in. His is getting all warn out from using it so much, so I thought he'd like a new one. Are you going to be getting or making him something?"

"I haven't really thought about it. So I am not sure. Now, let's get started." I say, excitedly.

~skip setting up decorations~

"I think it looks amazing, what do you think, Aerlinniel?" Tauriel says to me when we are finished.

I am not sure what to say, because I can't see it. But I bet it looks great. "I think it looks great too." Is all I say.

"I am going to go let King Thranduil know that we are done. We are done for today so you can go do whatever you like. Maybe you can find something for Legolas, mellon nin."

"Thank you, Tauriel." I say giving her a smile.

"No problem, I had a fun time today. Hope you have a good rest of the day." Tauriel says.

"You too." I say, then leave to go figure out something to give of make for Legolas.

On my way back to the room, my thoughts suddenly change to Tauriel. She is a very nice person. But she almost seems to nice. Maybe that's just how she is, but my heart is telling me it is something different.

I get taken from my thoughts when I hear Faelwen's heartbeat and her footsteps running toward me. When she gets to me I ask, "What's wrong Faelwen?"

"Where have you been? I have been looking all over for you." She asks me, almost out of breath.

"Is Legolas around?" I whisper to her.

"No, why?" She asks.

"King Thranduil had Tauriel and I set up a party for him. His Birthday is tomorrow." I answer her.

"Ok, when I was looking for you I decided to check the archery area. You were not there, of course but Legolas was. He is amazing. Hit the target every time and is about as fast as you. I have also heard that he loves to collect bows." She tells me.

Just then I get the perfect idea for what I can make Legolas.

~the next day at the party~

We are waiting for Legolas to arrive to his party. He thinks that he has to come here because his Ada needs to talk to him. He is going to get such a big surprise. I hear his heartbeat as he walks in and everyone shouts, "Surprise!"

I can tell by the way his heartbeat quickness that he is definitely surprised. I walk up to him and say, "Happy 2,869th Birthday, Legolas!"
