Aerlinniel POV

As I am walking towards the Throne room, because king Thranduil wants to talk to me, Legolas stops me. “Wait a moment, Aerlinniel. I need to talk to you."

“Yeah, sure Legolas. What do you need?" I ask.

“I was so shocked earlier that I did not have time to ask you some questions about the orcs. How many were there?" He asks me.

“About 20, maybe a few more." I answer.

“Do you know why they were in Mirkwood?"

“No, Faelwen and I were heading towards their camp when a few orcs attacked us. So we did not get a chance  to hear them say anything, sorry." I apologise.

“It's ok, you have no need to apologise. Thank you, that's all I need. I still can't believe that you and Faelwen killed the orcs." he says.

“Yeah, Faelwen was ok with a sword. But I have been teaching her, so she is a lot better now. I hope you don't mind, but the King needs me." I say.

“Nope, go ahead." And with that I head to the Throne room to see the King.

“What do you need King Thranduil?" I ask as I enter the Throne room.

“Legolas' birthday is tomorrow. He is turning 2,869. I would like your help with planning the party." He says. Just then someone walks in. I can tell by the heartbeat that it is Tauriel. “You and Tauriel will be working together, is that ok?"

“Yes, that would be great. It would also give us a chance to get to know each other better." I say.

“And I would enjoy that too." Tauriel agrees with me.

“So this works out great. You two can start in a couple of hours so you can get your own thing prepared.

As I walk back to my room I think that Legolas is not much older than me. He is 2,869 and I am 2,843. He is 26 years older than me. I can't wait to start planing his party with Tauriel!

Another Chapter Updated!!! :) Just to let you know this is a couple of years before The Hobbit Happened. I am not sure about Legolas' age.
