Around his right wrist, he wears a thin gold bangle.

Personality: Shoyo is a hard worker who cares about his Pokémon's wellbeing. Shoyo dreams of being able to compete the Pokémon Showcases despite him being a male, so he trains with his Pokémon very hard to make it happen. He struggles to express his emotions and doesn't like being pushed around. However, Shoyo trusts those who have faith in him.

Likes: Pokémon performing, helping others in need, baking Pokepuffs with Serena, cheering Maron and Bonnie up.

Dislikes: seeing his friends sad or hurt, being pushed around, his lack of expressing emotions outside of showcases.
