In the arms of an angel.
Johnnie pushed Andy aside. He put his hands on my shoulders and looked in my eyes. Are you okay? He asked. Are you hurt? No. I said. My neck just hurts. As the adrenaline disappeared I felt sick. I looked around. We were in a pasture. What was that? I heard Johnnie ask Andy. That was a reaper, said Andy. Appearantly I am not the only one who has found you. The reapers were made to get rid of people like us. The so-called freaks of nature. And as I just said there a more reapers, so we need to leave this place. It's not save. How? I asked. My Pegasus flew off. It's not very far, I can carry you. Said Andy. Well can't she ride on my horse? Asked Johnnie, a bit too defensive. That's okay, said Andy. I can carry you if you like, but she's lighter. They looked at me. I started blushing, and I was glad it was dark. I think I'd rather have Andy carry me. I said. There is no way I'm getting back on that Pegasus. Johnnie looked at me in disapproval, but he said nothing. He walked back to the Pegasus, and said. Let's go then. Andy put his arms around me. He was actually very pretty. I gasped. Boys had never held me like this. They barely wanted to look at me. I was weird and almost blind. Well, that's what they thought. Are you okay? Asked Andy again. Yes. I said. Let's go then. He grabbed me a little tighter, he bent a bit through his knees. Then he jumped far into air. We flew through the air. It felt better than before, but I still buried my hands in his back. His wings were so long, they spread far into the night and took away my view of the moon. I held in my breath it was really cold outside now. Eventually I had to breathe out. Andy looked at me and shouted in the wind. Don't forget to breathe we're almost there. Indeed after what felt like half an hour we landed. We stood in a village square. The houses looked very old, but I could see apartment buildings in the distance. Johnnie's Pegasus landed next to us. Andy let me go. I suddenly felt really cold and I started shaking. Let's go inside, said Andy. It'll be warmer there. He called someone and a man came out and took the Pegasus with him. He smiled at me while he walked away. Andy, Johnnie and I walked to a building that looked like an inn. We walked in and the warmth greeted me like a blanket. The place was packed. But as we walked in everybody stopped talked and looked at us.
