Okay so I know this isn't exactly what you asked for, which is why I will be happy to redo it if you want something closer to what you said in the form.

I took into consideration what you said about the hand, the warm colors, and the text or object based cover, and the letters. Then I took a look at the inspiration cover you had listed, and realized that I probably could not make that work easily. And so I came out with the cover below.

I tried to combine the two ideas you had about the hand and the letters in background by having the hand be the main object, and the letters as a fainter part of the background, but incase you don't like that there are two versions, one with the letters and one without.

And I had to look up what farouche meant and kept spelling it wrong when I was making the cover. I think it's spelled right though? :0

This version has little faint letter silhouettes in the background, I know they're not that noticeable but I wasn't sure which one to put so I put both :)
