Dealing with Pain

Some people might just say "don't think about it" but that is easier said than done. One thing I like to do is to distract myself, get myself busy, watching a show, doing chores or homework. If I keep myself focused on one thing then I won't be thinking about the thing that is causing me pain. At one point though, you do have to breakdown, when it builds up inside you, there is a point when you will burst. When I'm alone I like to let everything out, everything that I've been building up that day. Also sometimes that doesn't work. Something could happen like an attack of some sort. One time I was in so much pain and I was very anxious at the time, I had a panic attack whilst someone was taking a photo of me, so I was crying in the photo, talk about awkward.

Pain can last a very long time, it just depends on what happened.

Another way of dealing with pain with me is writing down everyday what I feel. Then during school if I feel really in pain and emotional I write down what I'm feeling and my thoughts.
