How to come out 2

Whoa, look at who it is! Yet again! He's NOT dead!

So recently (not really like a year ago) I came out as genderfluid and a lesbian. And over the months I've come to terms with the fact I'm a trans male and don't really know my sexuality and that's okay. I'm romantically attracted to everyone, regardless of gender, but (yes this may come out as transphobic but that's alright) only cis female body parts attract me sexually.

So without further ado, here's ways to come out for EVERYONE, not just transgender people and homosexuals.

1. Make a slide show or something, include info on the section of the community you are, this will also help you educate yourself

2. Come out to yourself in the mirror and practice to prepare for all the ways they may react (it's 99.8% of the time not "OH MY GOD YOU'RE **THIS**?! I HAD NO IDEA!! I'M ASTONISHED!!")

3. Practice respectful but casual ways as well

4. Take them out somewhere public to do it, so if something goes south not much bad will happen hopefully

5. If you're part of the less known/understood part of the community (poly, demi, ace, andro, gyne, etc) start introducing them to your part of the alphabet slowly along with other letters, but only when it comes up

6. Start dressing a bit more to fit your identity if your not cis - for example; style your hair differently, go for a more androgynous/masc/fem look, wear makeup that helps subtly make changes - i.g. contouring to make your face look more masc or fem or both

7. Start to drop hints or make more humor about the community to test their reactions to make sure it's a safe environment

8. Introduce them to more media and literature regarding your gender/sexuality or lack there of for you ace people (tumblr, pinterest and youtube may be your best friends in this regard)

9. Loudly listen to videos regarding your identity, whether it be how to pass or makeup tutorials or information about said identity or the struggles of it or so on and so on

10. Introduce them to some of their favorite celebrities that may be gay or trans or genderfluid or something and show them it's not so bad, that they're just people
