Its good to hear that you have found a true friend who you like to be close with , but from what i could tell is that he have obviously chosen his girlfriend ( your friend ) over you .

Its quite normal since he likes her and would naturally go to her more , rather than you . However , it is rude to not even open your messages at all .

I suggest that you confront him face to face one day in school since you cant communicate with him through text messages . Face to face confrontation works best since you could easily get your messages across and straighten things out .

Dont mention about how you only treat him like a brother and nothing more than that — its rather redundant and it might trigger him to think further and doubt you , taking it as an indirect confession from you . Just tell him how you feel about him distancing away from you , and since when you have realised .

Ask him why he did that , listen to him and not lose your temper . Just listen and nod your head to understand him . If he doesnt want to talk to you , you should still try another day , if not this friendship would definitely end right on the spot .

If you think that this friendship is worth saving , do all you can to communicate . Communication is key afterall :)
