Dont let your friend get to you . Its your personal choice to like what you want and you shouldnt sway around liking BTS because of your friend .

Its quite clear that your friend is being immature and is making fun of kpop when it did nothing to him . It doesnt make sense since he is contradicting himself , he asked why would you still like kpop when you dont understand the language .

Music is a universal language . Theres no language barrier when it comes to music .

I bet he understands that too — if not , why would he like JPOP when he doesnt understand the language either .

Just leave him if you find him too toxic and annoying to continue on listening to. He has no rights to judge you .
