My condolences to your family , especially to your mom . Death is a scary thing and a word that no one really likes to bring up infront of each other . Well , you know people would grow old , and after we age , we would go to a better place one day too . Your mom is just really sad and i bet its really heart wrenching to see her cry hysterically.

Put yourself in her shoes , if someone you dearly love passes on , you would feel the same feeling as her . Its really sad . I cant reach out for a hug , neither can i go up to you to comfort you , but i want you to know that you should be strong , especially in this period of time when your mom isnt at her tip top condition .

Give her some time to stop dwelling over this matter , afterall its really an event that marks her life at one point and impacted her alot . Be more caring and considerate for her . When she needs someone to cry with , cry with her . If she wants someone to console her , always be there for her .  As a daughter , you cant do much ; we dont have superpowers to bring the dead back , neither can we wish to turn back time .

I think you should just be with her the whole time and watch out for her and if you wanna cheer her up , bring her to places that she loves to visit . Maybe put up a few balloons at home or cook her a simple dish . Im sure your mother might let out a small smile soon .
