First off , what kind of best friend would do that ? Meeting new people is normal for everyone and to be honest , you cant expect yourself , or your friend to not socialise around during the new year .

Hmm , if you really want to keep the friendship between you and your best friend , you should talk to her privately to let her know about your feelings so that she would be more aware when she hangs out with her new friends , knowing that you are feeling shitty inside about it .

Her wanting to go to your house may be one of the things that she wants to do with you but since you rejected her idea , she probably isnt happy about it and is wondering why you arent allowing her to come over . However , she can always go with the others as well . Thats cuz she still have her new friends to hang out with ; unlike you . You are like an option for her , if she cant hang out with you , she can still hang out with her new friend .

You cant do anything about her sassy tone or her "oh well offcourse " but if it really gets annoying , snap at her then . Show her that you have feelings too and you shouldnt be the one whos always tolerating her attitude.
