First of all , your friendship with her is toxic . In this friendship between the two of you , you are the one who's always giving in to her and being there for her whenever she needs you . Whenever she disses you , you are always forgiving and still overlook it and continue the friendship despite you feeling really shit deep down .

Insulting kpop infront of your face is just downright rude since she knew that you are such a big fan of it and i think that you might want to sit down with her alone in a quiet area and talk about it so that you two may reach an agreement and she might just finally shutup about it .

Its as if you are her second choice or perhaps a trophy on her shelves . She would just go to you whenever she feels left out , insecure or lonely as she knows that you wouldnt judge or be rude to her .

Well , from the way you wrote it , it seems that you are indeed her second choice since she would tell you about her other friend who she claims to be her "bff" , probably indirectly telling you to maybe piss you off , or show that she doesnt really like you as much as before since she had already replaced you with her new friend . im sorry but thats probably true .

None of us can play god and tell what would happen in the future . You may be kind and nice but your friend might not see you the way you think you are .  I strongly believe that you should not change yourself for anyone else and stop giving in to your friend anymore .

Start showing her some attitude and when you are offended by her , just tell her and let her know . You would never know if she actually didnt realise that you were affected by her words at all.  It would be downright unfair if she keeps showing attitude to you but you cant do the same to her , right ?

And the fact that shes your mom's best friend's daughter , i think it shouldnt be such of a problem . Fight between friends are inevitable and common . And besides , this is your friendship , not your mom's , so it should not affect both your mom's friendship .

I hope that you get to talk to her soon about the way you feel about her so that she would listen in the end if she really wants to have this friendship work out well :'))
