Also I love how he just has a whole collection of the same eye mask but in different colours. The last game it was red and in the concept art it was blue and now it's purple. And the little shades!!!!! They're so cute!!! His little helpers!!! Although it'd be extra fucking cool if they were the Oneroi or we got to see some of the Oneroi hanging around Hypnos.

So from what I've gathered from the stream, Chronos snatches me, my dad and my mum up and kidnaps us somewhere not long after my sister is born

Mel is raised and trained by Hecate outside of the underworld, we know that from the trailer. And the whole plot of the game is you playing as Mel fighting to free me and our parents.

BUT- Hypnos, he's in some kind of eternal sleep??? We don't know why yet, they didn't get that far into the game. But I swear to GODS if anyone has hurt him I'm throwing hands. The dialogue we see when Mel approaches Hypnos is her promising she'll find a way to wake him up, and the long hair he has indicates he's been asleep and unable to wake up for a long time. Although he's probably still conscious inside the dreamscape, which is an actual mythology thing. The dreamscape is counted as part of the underworld but it's more of a pocket dimension only Hypnos and the Oneroi can access. So hopefully he's doing ok in there and his lil dream spirits are keeping him company.

Although I have a feeling it might be a side quest to wake him up, and you'll get like a boon or something in return. Which makes me wonder what kind of boon power you could get from Hypnos. Maybe putting enemies to sleep for a few seconds each fight or disorienting them?

AND AND AND-

We know for sure that new character are coming!!! Hecate, Apollo, Moros, Nemesis, Haphestus, Selene and Odysseus are all confirmed. There's also a shade called Dora, who I have a hunch might be Pandroa, but you know, dead. No sign of Thanatos, Nyx, the furies, Orpheus, Eurydice, Achilles, Patroclus etc yet. But we know that Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Artemis and Aphrodite are returning. Also Aphrodite seems to be in her war goddess mode?? That's sick as hell. She's always known as the goddess of love so it's cool to see her war association get some attention.

IF ANYTHING HAS HAPPENED TO CERBERUS I'LL BE SO FUCKING MAD NO ONE TOUCHES MY PUPPY. CHRONOS WILL CATCH MY HANDS SO FAST. But you DO get to pet a frog, Mel's got a frog friend. So at least there's one pettable creature.

I'm SO fucking pumped. I can't wait for the full release. And I CANNOT GET OVER HOW GORGEOUS HYPNOS IS. THE LONG HAIR AGDHEIEJ OH MY GODS. I also totally wanna see if he's got a new outfit under those blankets. Love the blanket burrito too, that's so canon. HIS LITTLE WING IS GONE TOO I JUST REALISED THAT??? I hope it's just lost in his long hair and nothing bad has happened to it, I love his little wing.
