Once upon a time, there lived two best friends. (Y/n) and Lani. They both have a lot of things in common since they're kids. They both love music, share each others memories, Netflix and chill, food, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

One day, today is the last day of school and they'll be seniors next year! Right now they're in their final period, staring at the clock, waiting for the final bell. Suddenly...

*BELL RINGS*

(Y/n) and Lani sprint out from the classroom before anyone else does, a crowd of students are behind them like they're leaders with an army.  (Y/n) holds Lani's hand as they're running away from the school in excitement. After a mile away from school, they stop running and catching their breaths.

"*huff* *huff* That is *huff * the first time *huff* I really run * not even in P.E." (Y/n) tried to catch his/her breath.

"*huff* okay (Y/n) *huff* calm down, (Y/n)." Lani says. "Let's walk."

So the two friends walk home for the rest few minutes until they arrive at their house. They're next door neighbors.

"So which house?" Lani asks (Y/n).

"Let's go to mine."

Timeskip

(Y/n) and Lani are at (Y/n)s' room eating large pizza with stuff crust and watching old cartoon shows on DVDS. Suddenly, Lani thought of something memorable from long ago. She looks down at her knees and smile a little. (Y/n) notice Lani and pause the TV.

"Hey why you smiling?"

"Remember the day we met?"

"Oh yeah I remember."

*Flashback *

When (Y/n) was 6 years old, he/she was a kid with so many silly imaginations, but no friends. One day, he's/ she's at the docks while mom and dad are with friends but no kids around and (Y/n) is there staring at the sea with balloons the grown ups gave him/her but it's not making him/her happy.

"Hi there."

(Y/n) turns to the squeaky girly voice and there's a girl who looks like his/her age and the girl has pink and purple balloons.

"What's wrong?"

"I just... feel so lonely. I have a lot of crazy, stupid imagination but I couldn't share with anyone else because I have no friends."

"You're the same as me."

(Y/n) turns to the girl in confusion.

"I mean, I do a lot of crazy things since I was a baby, I brighten up my family's days by being myself, and whatever. If you want you can be my friend. I don't have ant friends either. Here."

The girl gives (Y/n) one of her pink balloons.

(Y/n) smiles at the girls' kindly jester and takes the pink balloon.

"Thank you. So... what's your name?"

"Lani."

*End of Flashback*

(Y/n) smiles at the memory of the day he/she met Lani. "Good ol' days."

"Yeah." Lani replies. "Hey can we watch Teletubbies?"

"Oh yeah!" (Y/n) replies in excitement. They never say no to Teletubbies. Even on bad days.
