Third Person's POV

We start thiw chapter with a view of a billboard that says 'Robotnik's Resort' "Everything is right on schedule, Dr. Robotnik. Your luxury resort will be ready for the grand opening. All of Mobius is looking foward to it!" A construction worker robot said "Of course they are! Club Robotnik will be a vacation paradise, rivaling anything in the universe! Swimming, golf, tennis, the shopping channel" Robotnik said "I'm sure the citizens of Mobius will flock to it in drones!" The construction robot said as Robotnik takes out a control remote "Won't they? And that's the best part of all" Robotnik said pressing the button as Club Robotnik is  revealed to be incased in a giant dome which closes "Because once here, they can never escape! They become my slaves forever!" Robotnik said laughing "Its your most doabolical, devious and despicable plan yet!" The robot said "It's nifty isn't it? I haven't felt this good since I invemted the exploding church pew!" Robotnik said and presses the button again opening the dome and walks away.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Brody run through the desert until they come to a junkyard. There is a sign that says 'SCRAP VALLEY'. Sonic and Brody screech to a halt near the sign and then Brody cups his right hand to his right ear.

Tails flies up to them and lands next to Brody "Gee, what a creepy place! Where are we Sonic? Brody?" Tails asks and Brody picks up the sign "Says, 'Sracp Valley'. I don't know" Brody said tossing the sign aside "Looks like some kind of junkyard!" Sonic said when a robot that resembles a weilding torch jumps out from behind a pile of scrap and walks towards them and Tails trembles in fear "W-what was that?" Tails asks and the robot spits fire twice "Looks like a one-man weenie roast kid! And me without a marshmallow!" Brody said "Hey Dragon Breath! That's the worst case of heatburn I ever saw!" Sonic said and the robot spits fire twice "Come on, Torch! Chill out!" Another robot said, it was a nerdy-looking robot, woth a green shirt, a yellow neck tie, and glasses with tape on the handles "Why, this is a red-letter day!" The robot said standing beside Torch and shakes Brody and Sonic's hands "Mr. Hedgehog and Mr. Wolf, allow me to present myself!" The robot said and pulls out a card and gives it to them. The card says 'DITSO 555-1908' "Wallace A. Ditso, master inventor" Brody said "M.A, P.H.D, L.L.D and... W.C.R?" Sonic said "Hahaha! Way cool Robot! Hahahaha! Just my little joke, Mr. Hedgehog and Mr. Wolf!" Ditso said "I still say we fry them!" Torch said "Torch! Don't you know these are Sonic the Hedgehog and Brody the Wolf? Remember, like in the wanted posters?" Ditso asks "Huh?" The trio asked "You'll have to excuse my hothead friend. He thought you guys were Robotnik's men" Ditso said "We thought that's what he was!" Tails said "Hahahaha! Oh my goodness, no! Hahaha! Well that is, we both were, of course. But then we got tossed in this junkyard cause' we didn't work right!" Ditso said "You meN you're defective robots?" Sonic asks "Well, hey! We prefer 'Mechanically Challenged' " Ditso said "Are there any other around like you two?" Brody asks "Oh, sure! Lots more! We all live here in the Scrap Valley! Come on, I'll show you!" Ditso said and walks away and Brody and Sonic follow him with Tails staying close to Sonic and Brody.

"Gee, a whole village of reject robots" Tails said "And every obe of us got dumped by Robotnik, cause' of some teeny little flaw!" Ditso said and points to a weather-making robot "O-Zone there is supposed to be a weather-making robot except, he can only make lousy weather" Ditso said "Peeper over there wad gonna br a spiral-bot! He can see 200 miles away" he said "Trouble is, he can't see anything closer than that. Now over there..." he said "Help!" A robot said as  he was being chased by a pig-shaped robot in a chef's hat and apron holding a frying pan "I will cook you for dessert!" The chef robot said "Hey!" Sonic and Brody said "I wouldn't bother. This happens every day. Yo, Wolfie! What's up?" Ditso asks and the chef robot stops.

"That.... pig of a dog of a swine insulted my special of the day!" The chef robot said "Sonic, Brody this is Chef Wolfgang Puke. He was made to be Robotnik's personal gourmet chef" Ditso said "Wolf, my man! What's in the pan?" Sonic asks "Haha! Nothing less than my triumph! My culinary masterpiece!" Wolfgang said showing them the pan and Sonic and Brody stare in disgust shaking lightly. "Rotten eggs, and mmm.... maggot suprise!" Wolfgang said as a bunch of maggots squirm arounf in the pan filled with rotten eggs. Tails turns green and covers his mouth and runs off "Uh, looks yummy. Maybe later" Brody said nervously and Wolfgang rolls away "I'll save you two some!" Wolfgang said "Let me guess. The worst cook?" Brody asks Ditso "Wait till' you try his toejam on toast" Ditso said when a plan of Robotnik's flies by startling Ditso "It's Robotnik's plane! I thought he was gonna drop more bombs!" Ditso said "So it is old egg-face we heard before. Why is he bombing a garbage dump anyway?" Sonic asks "You got me. Peeper says he's building some kind of humongous project north of the valley" Ditso said and Brody hummed in thought.

"He is, eh? Hmmmm. Maybe this calls for a little investigating" Brody said and the three spy on robots building Robotnik's Club Robotnik.

"Looks like some kind of hotel or something, Sonic and Brody" Tails said "Knowing Robotnik it's more likely a roach motel!" Brody said when they look up seeing Robotnik's Blimpnik "It's Robotnik's blimpnik! You know, Tails, I think it's about time to do a little supersonic snooping!" Sonic said as he and Brody see a girder curled into the shape of a loop "Perfect! Stand back!" Brody said as he and Sonic run in place "Up, over and gone!" Brody and Sonic said as they run up the girder and land ontop of the blimpnik's gasbag.

Inside Robotnik got a call from the construction robot saying the grand opening is on schedule and Robotnik leaves and Scratch look at his blueprints when Sonic and Brody disguised as pizza delivery boys knocked on the door and tricked them to get inside giving the pizza and the duo pulls on the lever causing the trap door under the rug to open and Scratch and Grounder fall on it and Brody and Sonic grab the blueeprints when a belt ties around their bodies "Hey!" Sonic and Brody said as more belts tie around Sonic and Brody's wrists abd ankles "Ugh! Ugh ugh! Oof! Oof!" The two said as the belts pull them back and they are nor belted to the wall. Robotnik who has returned is standing at the control panel andnpresses a button "Going so soon, hedgerat and wolfpup? Why the fun is just starting!" Robotnik said and laughs evily as Sonic and Brody grunt struggling to get out of the belts but to no avail.

"Whatever you're up to, Blimp Bottom, it's not gonna work!" Brody said and Robotnik has gotten Scratch and Grounder back in the blimp "Oh, won't it now? We'll just see. Once Robotnik Lagoon is open, every vacationer on Mobius will become my slave!" Robotnik said "Robotnik Lagoon?" Sonic asks "Oh, didn't I tell you two? Tomorrow, I'll conclude the grand opening, by pulling a lever that will flood Scrap Valley! Voila! Robotnik Lagoon!" Robotnik said "But there's a whole town living in that valley, you slimeball! Robots that you created!" Brody said frowning "What? You mean those rusty objects? They're hardly worth discussing" Robotnik said "Now I must go finalize the plans for the opening. Grounder!" He said "Make sure he doesn't try anything!" He said and left with Scratch.

When the two left Sonic and Brody tricked Grounder into swatting the controls to free them saying there was a bumblebee, when the two get free they call Scratch and tell him they are escaping and they run out the entrance to the blimp as Robotnik looked out holding a harpoon made to use on Sonic and Brody. Robotnik at first thinks the duo fell down but they call him out from the top of the blimp.

Sonic and Brody grin and taunt Robotnik as he fires the harpoon and they dodge making the harpoon punctured the blimp and flies to a cliff

Well guys, this is our stop. See you!" Brody said as he and Sonic jump off the blimp and land on the cliff as the harpoon pops out the blimp causing it to deflate as it flies away.

*Back at Scrap Valley*

"And that's Robotnik's rotten scheme!" Sonic told the robots after he and Brody finished explaining and showing the blueprints "And unless we do something pronto you're all gonna be living underwater tomorrow!" Brody said "But what can we do? Robotnik is powerful and we are nothing!" Wolfgang said "But guys" Sonic said "This is yoir home!" Brody and Sonic said and Peeper stares in shock ahead "Whoa! Warp out!" Peeper said rolling away as Sonic, Brody, Tails and the other robots look at a giant mechanical monster with four claws and a giant mouth. "Run for you lives!" Ditso said and all the robots run away "Hey guys don't run away!" Brody said "Stand and fight!" Sonic said as the mechanical monster gets closer "Sonic, Brody it's getting awful close" Tails said "Come on you big bully, We are not afraid!" Sonic said and the two pick up Tails and jump out of the way as the mechanical monster destroys the bathub and picks up tires with his claws and puts them in his mouth and then rolls away ejecting various compacted pieces of Scrap Valley.

Wolfgang emerges from behind a pile of scrap "M-m-m-my café!" He said and Torch emerges from a pile of scrap "My house!" Torch said "Our beautiful, beautiful village!" Ditso said  a d Tails grabs one of the compacted cubes "Your town's right here! At least, what's left of it!" Tails said "Boy talk about your small towns!" Sonic said as Torch and Ditso walks over to the trio "All right! That's it! I've had it! I don't care what Robotnik does to us!" Torch said "Me, either! What do we have to do, Sonic and Brody?" Ditso asks and Brody holds the blueprints "Now you're talkig!" Brody said "Okay, I think I got a line on how we can scramble Robotnik's eggs!" He said and they all prepare their plan.

*Later*

Tails who is holding an umbrella walks up to a door with O-Zone as he blows cold wind at the door causing it to fall over. Neanwhile inside the pipe room Sonic and Brody were wearing wielding mask and riding Torch as Torch spits fire at the pipes destroying them. At the same time in the kitchen Wolfgang replaes a cake with his own cake and then leaves. Outside the entrance a robot with a drill for a head is drilling holes in the pillars and Sonic and Brody spin through two pillars on the other side loosening them. Meanwhile at inside the power room where Tails is holding a flashlight in his right hand shines it on the fusebox. Ditso rearranges the wires and then gives Tails a thumbs up.

Robotnik is standing at the podium "And so I've decided to dedicate my luxury resort to Mobius' first citizen. A bundle of good looks and sheer genius, all wrapped up in that lovablr package we call me!" Robotnik said as a monitor on the leftmost side fuzzes and the citizens cheers "It all began many years ago when I was a child" Robotnik said "I captured my nanny, and became dictatornof the nursery!" He said unaware that Sonic, Brody, Tails and Ditso are ducked below him ready to sabotagr his speech, Sonic and Brody gave the ok to Ditso and he nodded.

"And then when I was a handsome lad of two..." Robotnik said and Ditso presses a button showing a picture of Robotnik with a pig's snout on a pig's body costume on the monitor causing the citizens of Mobius all laugh at the picture. "Eh? Eh, uh, yes. Haha Well I suppose my youth was amusing. Hahahaha Now, when I first realized I was destined to be your invincible leader..." Robotnik said and the monitor switches to a picture of Robotnik naked in the shower covering his body and the citizens laugh "Hey! What's going on here with..." Robotnik said and the citizens point at the monitor and Robotnik looks in shock "What?!" Robotnik asks  as Scratch and Grounder laugh "Cut the monitors!" Robotnik said "Oh, uh, just a little technical problem. Now as I was saying about myself..." he said.

"Okay, proceed to phase two!" Brody said "Allow me!" Tails said and presses a red button "And that's why, today, I'm a..." Robotnik said "Toad-faced, egg-bellied slimeball!" Sonic said being heard over the intercom  and the citizens laugh "No! No!" Robotnik said "It's that hedgehog and that wolf! Find them!" Robotnik said and O-Zone scoops Grounder and Scratch up in his bag taking them away.

"Yes, uh, we all love a good joke. Uh, why don't we justmove on to the cutting of the cake?" Robotnik asks running to the kitchen and before he cpuld cut it six snakes pop out of it and he scteams "Snakes! Snakes!" He said "Haha! It is an old family recipe!" Wolfgang said "Oh, forget the cake! I'll cut the ribbon!" Robotnik said tunning to the ribbon and Tails gave him golden scissors "Thanks!" He said not seeing it was Tails and cuts the ribbon causing the entrance to rumble and he quickly runs away as the entrance falls to pieces and Robotnik stands next to the rubble.

"IIIIIIII! HAAAAATE! THAAAAAT! HEEEEEDGEHOOOOG!! AAAAND! THAAAAAT! WOOOOOOLF!! I hate them! I hate them!" Robotnik yelled as he jumps in the air furiously twice "How am I supposed to turn Mobians into slaves if they keep ruining all of my plans?!" He said as Sonic and Brody are holding microphones standing next to Robotnik and Torch and Peeper are holding cameras filming them "Too bad, blubber belly!" Sonic and Brody said "You just told that to all of Mobius!" They said "Huh?" Robotnik asks and sees himself and Sonic and Brody on the monitor. The citizens of Mobius boo and throw tomatoes at Robotnik causing Sonic and Brody to laugh "So, I guess you won't be getting as many customers as you thought, huh?" Sonic asks and a tomato lands on Robotnik's head "Ooooh, tomatoes!" Brody said "Our favorite!" Sonic and Brody said as Robotnik growls as Sonic grabs the tomato and he and Brody run away as steam emits from Robotnik's head "I'll get you for this! I will! I will! I will!" Robotnik said "So you wanted to save your little robot rejects, eh? Well, I'm going to flood their valley anyway!" Robotnik said and runs to the podium and jumps on it. He pulls the lever and laughs evilly, just then a huge rumbling sound is heard, and a geyser pushes the podium in the air "No!" Robotnik said amd many geyser are now spraying water through thr entrance.

"Oh, forgot to tell you, egg-breath, we've changed your water pipes around a little" Brody said as he, Sonic, Tails, Ditso, Torch, Wolfgang and Peeper all laugh and Tails hugs Ditso as Sonic and Brody give Torch high-fours "Wow! You guys were super!" Tails said and Torch blows out fire "Yeah, we were pretty good, weren't we?" Torch asks and Wolfgang turns to Sonic and Brody "Heh, I guess Sonic and Brody showed us that we weren't such losers as we thought!" Wolfgang said "Losers? No way!" Sonic said and Brody nodded "All that stuff you thought was wrong with you turned out to be just what we needed!" Brody said "And I've already got a master plan to turn what's left of Club Robotnik into Scrap Valley Robot Condos! Haha! Well once it dries outba little" Ditso said.

"To celebrate, I'll make you all a special dinner tonight, Worm Guts Ala Wolfgang!" Wolfgang said and Bridy looks at his watch "Oh, my where does the time go? Sorry Wolfie, maybe later!" Brody said "Yeah much later!" Tails said "See ya!" Sonic said as he and Brody runs away and Taikd flies behind them and Wolfgang rolls after them "I'll save you some!" He said as this chapter comes to an end.
