Third Person's POV

We start in a village where two villagers are sculpting pots out of clay "Someday, my friend, the evil Dr. Robotnik will be defeated forever! But until that day happens..." a villager says when he and anothee villager get zapped by a ray and scream. They now have dumbfounded expressions on their faces "Duh, we get to play in the nuce mud!" The villager said laughing as he grabs the clay and tosses it at the othe villager and Robotnik laughs evilly as he, Scratch and Grounder watch this dressed in camo pants and Robotnik is holding a ray gun.

"My new Stupidity Ray works perfectly! One zap from this baby, and the good citizens of Mobius are too stupid to resist me!" Robotnik said and Sonic and Brody were running towards the village "I see the ultimate test of my invention coming up now!" Robotnik said and aims the Stupidity Ray at Sonic and Brody. "Why are we in such a hurry, Sonic and Brody?" Tails asks.

"Got the word that Doc Botnik and his bad egg bots are in the area, little bud, and you know what that means!" Brody said as Robotnik fires the ray "Sure do, Brody! it means..." Tails said as the trio dodges the bean "Trouble!" Sonic, Brody and Tails said "If I can just zap that high-speed hedgehog and high-speed wolf,  the rest of the planet will be a piece of cake!" Robotnik said and kept firing at the duo over and over but kept missing "Blast it, you turbo-charged troublemakers! Hold still!" Robotnik said and kept firing at Sonic and Brody who run through the village.

In the village, Sergeant Doberman, who is holding a whip is with a soldier holding a gun "Fifty mile run through the swamp, Soldier! Move!" Sergeant Doberman said "Aw, gee Sergeant Doberman!" The soldier said as Sonic and Brody run by and gets their attention and the soldier gets zapped with the Stupidity ray "What? Wha?" Doberman asks in shock "Uh, duh yes Sir! Great idea sir!" The soldier said and runs off. Meanwhile Robotnik kept shooting and missing as the duo run past Weasely who was trying to con someone but fail until that person got hit with the beam and bought Weasely was trying to sell him.

Robotnik growls and kept firing and missing "Whoa!" Tails said as Sonic and Brody run into a stable "Now it's time for a..." Sonic said "Sonic and Brody style finish!" Sonic and Brody said as Brody sets Tails down and Sonic picks up the mule and sets it down one end of the seesaw "Now for a quick spring in the falls!" Brody said  as the two spin together as one and cut the rope to a tied anvil making the anvil fall on the empty end of the seesaw sending the mule flying through the air "I've heard of horse flies, but mule flies?" Tails asks and the duo stop spinning.

"Hey Doc! You're a lousy shot!" Sonic said "Bet you can't even hit us when we are standing still!" Brody said and the two cross their arms and tap their foot impatiently "We are waitiiiiiiing!" Sonic and Brody said "Your attitudes are in for some adjustment, you hot-shots hedgehog and wolf!" Robotnik said aiming at them while Grounder sees the mule falling towards them "Uh, your maliciousness?" Grounder asks "Don't bother me! I'm about to blast those blue and yellow bratniks!" Robotnik said and Scratch and Grounder sneak away "This is going to be..." Robotnik said as the mule lands just behind him "A real kick!" He said and the mule kicks Robotnik with his hind legs sending Robotnik flying through the air "Dr. Robotnik!" Scratch and Grounder said and the trio high five each other "Yay!" Tails said "All right!" Sonic and Brody said.

"Huh, the evil Robotnik has been defeated for the moment!" Doberman said and sees the stupid ray behind the mule "I see he has left behind his Stupidity ray! Just what I need for creating my kind of soldiers! I must have it!" He said and runs to it. "That little gizmo could really help with my sales! I gotta have it!" Weasely said and the two end up fighting over it sending the ray flying away and Brody catches it "Were you boys looking for this, by any chance?" Brody asks and the two stop "Yes! I order you to turn over that device to me!" Doberman said "Now, hold on there, palley! I'll buy it, chum! Name your price!" Weasely said and the two started arguing over it.

"These two slow-mos are acting like they were hit by the ray already!" Tails said "Hey you two turkeys! Check this out!" Brody said putting the ray down and he and Sonic run off  and come back holding a boulder and they drop it on the ray destroying it "That's better!" Sonic said "Now you two fender-heads quit fighting and let's get back to concentrating on our planet's real problem!" Brody said "Dr. Robotnik!" Sonic said "You stupid hedgehog and stupid wolf!" Robotnik said and they all see a walkie-talkie and Brody picks it up "Speak of the devil! What's up, lard-belly? Want us to settle your hash some more?" Brody asks and a hologram of Robotnik's head appears "You may have smashed my stupidity ray but I still remember how to build it! And this time, I won't mess around" Robotnik said "I'm goin to build a giant stupidity ray, one big enough to blacken the whole planet!" He said "And when I do, I'll be able to conquer all of Mobius in a single blast!" He said and laughs evilly as Sonic and Brody stare at him angrily "Just try it!" Brody said "We'll be all over you like chili om a hot dog!" Sonic said "And I'll be the mustard!" Tails said "That's what you think! Because I'm building my ray inside my awesome, impenetrable new pinball fortress! Not even you can get past its dynamic defenses! By this time tomorrow..." Robotnik said "The entire planet will be under my control! Even you two!" He said and laughs as the hologram disappears and Brody angrily tosses the walkie-talkie into the ground. "That evil egg-meister!" Sonic said "What are we gonna do, guys? Can we get inside the pinball fortress?" Tails asks "Gonna be tough little bud! Sonic and I have seen the place!" Brody said.

"It's solid booby-trapped wall-to-wall!" Brody said. Meanwhile Doberman and Weasely where thinking about using the ray for their own reasons and saud they'll tag along and Sonic and Brody reluctantly agree.

*At Robotnik's Pinball Fortress*

"Now that we're in sight of our goal, I, as ranking military officer, will take command of this mission! From this point, we will take the south pass road to the fortress!" Doberman said and Sonic pushes him aside "Back off, bur-head! Brody and I are still calling the shots here!" Sonic said "And I say it's time to check in with our eye in the sky, the high-flying Tails!" Brody said and Sonic pulls out a walkie talkie "What's the sitch little bud?" Sonic asks "Looks tough, Sonic! There's some sort of breakdown blocking the south pass road!" Tails said "Better go some other way!" He said "That's a ten-four, little buddy! What's our scoop on our intended target?" Brody asks "Oh no! Robotnik and his blockheads have almost completed the giant stupidity ray!" Tails said "Then we're gonna speed kid!" Sonic said "We're gonna take the skyway!" Brody said and they all prepared.

They soon managed to get inside "Blast! They've gotten inside! But no matter!" Robotnik said "They'll never get past my boss scorpion!" He said while the four try to make it across the pinball like room where they run into the boss scorpion but Brody and Sonic manage to defeat it by cracking the ground below it making it fall to the lava and they move on.

"Blast! They defeated my scorpion!" Robotnik said "But no matter, because soon, they'll all be in the power of Dr. Robotnik, along with the rest of the planet! Have you finished the Stupidity cannon yet?" He asks "I just finished it, your vileness!" Scratch said "Oh, you did not! I did!" Grounder said "Never mind! Just point it at that door! And when I say 'shoot' you fire!" Robotnik said "Yes sir!" Scratch and Grounder said.

Robotnik soon heard a knock on the door confusing him "Please come in!" Robotnik said as Brody and Sonic walk in "Dr. Robotnik, sir?" Sonic and Brody asks confusing Robotnik but then grins "You two!" Robotnik said "Yes sir! Just wanted to surrender sir" Sonic and Brody said "What?!" Robotnik asks and the duo walks up to him "Yep you win!" Sonic said "We give up! Sorry for all the trouble we caused you!" Brody said and pulls out a present "Here's a small trear to, you know kinda express our feelings!" Sonic said "A treat? How sweet!" Robotnik said as Brody gave him the present "Perhapsdue to your changes of hearts, I'll exterminate you both somewhat painlessly! Uh what kind of treat is it?" Robotnik asks "Our favorite kind!" Sonic and Brody said and Robotnik opens the present that had Doberman and Weasely fly put if it "A trick!" Sonic said "Gotcha!" Brody said  as Doberman and Weasely held Robotnik's arms "And now we can destroy your stupidity ray once and for all!" Sonic said "No!" Dobermand said and he, Weasely and Robotnik started fighting over it letting go of Robotnik.

"The stupidity ray is mine! I built it and you can't have it! Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah!" Robotnik said "Then we blast you first!" Doberman said as he and Weasely aim their guns at Robotnik and the stupidity cannon was also aimed at him "Oh, shoot!" Robotnik said "What was that your hideousness?" Scratch asks "I said, 'shoot' you dim-bot!" Robotnik said and stares in shock realizing what he said "Uh-oh!" Robotnik said as Scratch presses a button and the cannon fores at Robotnik "Uh-oh!" Scratch said "You okay Dr. Robotnik?" Grounder asks "I'm fine!" Robotnik said in a dumbfounded tone and sees a lever "Oooh! Oooh, pretty handle!" Robotnik said pulling it activating the fortress' self destruct "He pulled the destruct lever!" Grounder said "Let's get out of here!" Scratch said and everyone runs away.

Once the fortress exploded, the heroes walked out of the lake "Well that takes care of the stupidity ray!" Brody said "Sorry, you two" Sonic said "Ah, well! The best soldiers are smart one anyway!" Doberman said "Yeah and having a whole planet of suckers, it would take all the fun out of my job!" Weasely said and they shake hands with Sonic and Brody "Well thanks for the help anyway!" Brody said "We made quite a team!" Sonic said "We sure did!" Doberman said "Sure did!" Weasely said "Not!" Sonic, Brody, Doberman and Weasely said and they along with Tails all laugh.

Robotnik who was in the impact site laughs dumbfoundedly "Let's do it again!" Robotnik said "No! Don't touch that lever!" Scratch and Grounder said as Robotnik pulls the lever again and the Pinball Fortress explodes again "Oh, I think I hate that hedgehog and that wolf, but I don't know for sure!" Robotnik said and laughs dumbfoundedly as this chapter comes to an end.
