verita is a good girl at heart. often times she'll be getting to her job fifteen minutes early rather than fifteen minutes late. she's extremely shy and has trouble getting out of her shell, not that many in the past haven't made an attempt to try.

being as shy as she is, she never really grew a backbone to defend herself or take backlash from others with a grain of salt — she however can tell a difference between constructive criticism and downright judgement and harshness. she has a high level of sensitivity, and as such she needs to be treated gently until she can learn to take harsh words without hurt.

unlike her cousin, autumn, verita was born in Cuba and came to America not long after. she and her family stayed for a brief period with autumn's parents before they were essentially kicked out and told to find work. her parents have made a living by doing various odd jobs in order to pay rent due. they scrapped enough money to send their daughter to college.

her college life is surprisingly good. she is studying to be in film production, her desire to bring out life in fictional situations being her inspiration and escape. she observes closely in her classes, and she studies very hard to pass. even as a child, she was a great student.
