There was a grand and pompous celebration. The whole of the kingdom of Wales gathered outside Glass Palace. They were there for the first public appearance of their new born Princess. There was a great commotion. All of them were really excited. It was almost dawn when the old nurse maid, Miss Elizabeth followed by King Hans & Queen Isabella appeared along with me, Princess Savannah.

Miss Elizabeth took me from my mother and held me in-front of the people. There was a pin drop silence for a moment. Every-body watched me eagerly. After a few minutes she handed me back to my mother. Everyone congratulated my parents on my birth and gave me their blessings. They were all really happy because I was the first child in the monarchy. My father King Hans addressed the gathering:

"I thank you all to join me in my happiness. On the joyous occasion of my daughter's birth Princess Savannah, I order all the taxes to be lifted. I also announce the uplift of revenue from all the agricultural lands. I order to release all the petty criminals except murderers. There will be a grand feast tonight in the Palace. I personally request you to attend it. There will be food for everyone; sweets for children and gold coins for everyone."

A lot of people came to the feast. I was dressed up in my traditional dress. Everyone was happy. According to my nanny, I received thousands of gifts and countless blessings on that night. I was brought up with great care and affection in the Palace. As a child, my mother and nannies took care of me. I used to play in the garden with my best friend Elsa. She was the daughter of the Prime Minister Mr. Yang. Since she was a motherless child; my mother took her in. She used to stay in the Palace with me. Mr. Yang was too busy in his duties to look after her. My father King Hans was a really busy man as well. He used to come and visit us once in a week. I didn't mind it all. My mother told me that as a king it was his duty to serve the people. He was doing a great service. I was really proud on him. When I grew up a bit more I was sent to the royal school for education. At first it was hard but eventually I adjusted eventually along with Elsa. Here we used to learn languages, art, craft and music. My father implied teachers to give me military training as well. I mastered horse riding, sword fighting and arrow shooting with Elsa. In the evening I and Elsa used to practice in the royal garden. My mother taught us cooking, sewing and ice-skating. Due to the careful and kind grooming of me by my teachers I grew up to be a kind, responsible and a wise princess. I often helped my father in the affairs of kingdom. On every national function I used to play piano. I also accompanied my parents on the foreign tour. Due to my beauty and kindness people used to call me "The Rose Princess".

Apart from the royal business I never forgot to be myself and have fun. I used to play with Elsa in my free time. We used to be really mischievous and our main target was the nurse-maid Elizabeth. We loved annoying her; walking in a ball room with muddy shoes, plucking the flowers from royal garden, mixing paints in the washing clothes, freeing the royal parrots, scaring horses by disguising as a ghost and sneaking out in the chilly wintry nights from the palace just to skate on the frozen lake in moon-light which lied near the woods at the back side of my palace were our favorite things to do. She used to rebuke us and sometimes she reported to King, my father, who hardly took notice of her concern and used to laugh on every new mischief I made. Years passed by so quickly. I grew up to be a beautiful, wise, elegant, charming, grace-full, kind and a responsible princess. I mastered all the military, literary & house-hold arts. I used to help my mother in operating the daily affairs of the Palace. I was also the chief-adviser of my father. When-ever he left for war he left me as the care-taker of the kingdom. Elsa was still there in the Palace with me. Often times we changed our appearance and walked around the city just to know the problems of the people. All was going good until my 20th Birthday arrived.

On the day of my 20th birthday, everyone was preparing for celebrations. There was a great hustle and bustle in the palace. As it was birthday so I was not allowed to do anything. My mother prohibited me to work. I was getting bored while lying in my room. I sneaked out of the Palace after informing Elsa. I went into the nearest forest for skating. While I was skating out in the woods I saw Elsa coming towards me. I thought that perhaps my mother has found about my disappearance and she was sent here to fetch me. When she got near me; she collapsed. I got scared. She was hurt; bleeding from head, barefooted and her gown was torn from one side. Something was wrong; a wave of horror surged through my spine. Everybody knew how much dear she was to me and no one in the Palace would have done it either. I attended her and luckily after sometime she regained consciousness. When I politely inquired her about what was wrong. She was pale with fear. I consoled her and after sometime she began:

"Princess........ We were attacked....... They were so many of them........our forces were outnumbered.........Evil witch & her comrade captured everybody........His majesty told me that you should go......."

After it Elsa collapsed again. My mind was warning me that something bad had happened in the Palace. I was in a dilemma thinking what to do then suddenly when an old lady appeared from the bushes nearby. She was carrying a bundle of wood. She came towards us and quietly inspected Elsa. Then she asked me to follow her. I was confused but she gave a friendly smile and said:

"Come child ..... Help you I will..... A great danger is around."

With Elsa unconscious and sun setting below horizon; I decided to follow her silently. We walked about a mile then we reached in an orchid full of fruits. I was surprised because I have not seen it before; even while patrolling or hiking. A thought struck my mind may be it was a witch in disguise who has come to kill me. The old woman was still walking ahead of me and she had not looked behind for a second. I took some steps in the backward direction silently but a rock knocked me off from my feet. The old woman turned around. I used my last resort. I took out a small knife I had and attacked her. Surprisingly, she douched it quickly and started circling around in air. I got scared and ran back in the direction from where we came. When I reached the end of trees there was fog but I kept running. I felt like losing the ground beneath my feet and before I knew I was falling down from a cliff. I shut my eyes in order to escape from the horror and reality of the moment; suddenly I felt a force lifting me up. It was that old woman. When she had lifted me to the safety; she transformed. I was wrong she was a fairy. Then she began:

"Quite a hot-headed and impulsive child you are just like your father. First you attacked me out of nowhere and then jumped off from the cliff to get your-self killed. Let me make this clear to you I am not the witch you are thinking. I would love to explain myself but right now your friend is hurt and she needs help urgently. So follow me silently Young-ling."

After it I followed her silently towards her house. There she treated Elsa and brought me food to eat. In the evening, when Elsa got up she told us everything. She told us how an Evil witch had attacked the castle with her army of monsters. She had frozen everyone in the Palace. She put a spell on everyone in the Kingdom. She announced that whoever will capture me; she will greatly reward it. She wants me to surrender myself in return she will release my parents. She wanted to eat my spirit. I thanked heavens that Elsa managed to escape in the nick of time from the Palace before evil witch froze it. She told me that my father had strictly ordered me to go to my uncle Duke of Cambridge and never return to Wales again.

I was shocked and bewildered after hearing all this; unable to think of what to do next.........................
