1.Two Drops
This story is inspired by a dream which one of my cousins has dreamt about few years ago. To some extent this story will follow the dream. But the turn of tale is the imagination of my crazy mind.
Hence, enjoy the part!

'Dip dip dip'
The sound of water drops were coming to my ears; the silence in the atmosphere was making it more intense. Few hours ago the raining had stopped; hence, the wetness of the window's sun-shed was still there and the sound of falling water drops was coming from it . The rainy season of this year was showing no sign of letting us go.
It was September last week; October was knocking the door. The duration of night time was getting more than the daytime. Cold wind had begun to blow since last two weeks. The thin cover for preventing the cold of early morning had become common nowadays.
I was sitting on my bed, switching on the light to read my new book. My target was to finish it before going to sleep. I gripped my cover upto the chest; putting the book on my pillow I was reading the book in the crisscross sitting position.
My exam had ended yesterday; due to the breathtaking excitement to finish this book and disruption in my sleeping time for the exam, I was still awake at this time of night. Paying no attention to the outside sounds I focused on my book again.
'Slowly slowly I turned my face to the large figure which was looking for me. It was dark in the room; I was in the cupboard looking at the person from the small keyhold of it. My palms were on my mouth to prevent me from shouting aloud. The cupboard was on the odd place, not noticable to the outsider so easily.
He was flipping my mattress and looking under the bed to catch the person who stayed here. My heartbeat was getting louder; fear was all I could feel in my every bone.
The figure suddenly stopped on his track and turned his face on the cupboard.
Shit! Did he sense me?
He was approaching slowly; on the dim light I could see his white teeth grinning like a madman. Tears were falling from my eyes; I was holding my mouth to stop sobbing.
The distance between us was reducing; heart was beating loudly in my ribcage; sweat was all over my body making my clothes wet. My eyes were not leaving the keyhole of the cupboard; watching his every move carefully.
His came to the cupboard and slowly sat down in front of it. Looking here and there of it he stopped on the front. Before I knew anything; his eyes were looking at me from the keyhold; his ugly sinister toothy smile got widened. My heart skipped a beat.
"Found you, baby girl!"
....to be continued '
What the hell!?
I flipped the next page impatiently. It was the last page of this book.
This is unfair!
My head got boiled in anger; I put the book on my study table and got up from the bed. I had to wait for the next volume for knowing the ending of this story.
No wonder why the review section was filled with impatient readers...
I came to our dinning room; but didn't lit up the lights. Coming in front of the water filter I filled my glass with the water. I drank it in one gasp; looking at the clock which was hanging on the front wall. It was 2:45 o'clock of night. I put the glass on it's place and went to my room after taking a deep breath.
I need to sleep now.
My parents were sleeping on the first floor and I was on the ground floor in my personal room. Since one year I was sleeping all alone due to my late night school works. At first my parents didn't agree with my decision. But I fought for it untill I achieved my goal.
It is truly nice to have a personal room.
I was about to switch off the light; suddenly a sound caught my attention. It was not something I used to at late nights. I stopped on my track and focused my ears on it.
Crack crack.
It was coming from our front yard garden. I carefully followed it walking on my toenails, making no sound of my footsteps. I followed the sound and came to our main door; shifting the curtain of the window beside the door I looked outside. Sometimes the cats of our neighbor's made weird noises at night also.
It can also be them as well.
There was nothing unusual that I noticed. Before putting down the curtain I looked at the outside again. Sighing deeply I came from the place to the dinning room; as I had to cross the place before coming to my own room. The only light which was 'on' of the whole house was coming from my room.
Before I reached to my room I heard that noise again. This time it was clearer and sharper. I became still on my spot. I paid my all attention on it again.
CRACK CRACK.
It was coming from the upper stairs; from my parent's room. I moved my body towards the staircase. Odd thoughts were coming to my mind. They were not the people of 'late sleeper'. My body went cold.
Is it any thief?
I began to walk for the staircase; crossing the dinning room for reaching there. My hand was trumbling lightly; body was straight. I needed to find out the reason of this sound before assuming something stupid.
I came to the first floor, in front of my parent's room and found nothing extraordinary. The balcony beside their room guarded by the steel grills was usually silent and cold breeze was coming from it. I smiled at my stupidity and walking down to the ground floor.
I was about to put my feet on the dinning room from the staircase a sound of laughter made me stop dead on the track. I snapped my head on the direction and found an unknown male figure sitting on our sofa. His white teeth were glowing on the falling rays of the light coming from my room. He was wearing all black, a hoodie on his head.
"Found nothing, baby girl?" His raspy voice made my nerves shivered. He got up from the sofa slowly approaching my direction. With the sudden flash of light, the knife on his right hand caught my eyes.
The fresh blood was dropping from it.
My body was shaking horribly in fear. Without wasting the time I ran towards my room and locked it.
BANG BANG
"Come on, baby girl! Open the door! Don't be so difficult." His raspy voice was coming from the other side of the door.
I was sitting on the ground beside the locked door, putting the hands on my mouth.
"Baby girl, open the damn door before I break it into pieces. Behave nicely like your parents!" His words made my heart shrink. A cold wave of fear went through my every cell.
They are no more!?
The fresh blood on the knife, was it was it...
Fresh warm tears fell from my both eyes; out of fear and losing them.
What should I do? What should I do?
BANG CRACK!
The door broke and without wasting any more movement he was standing in front of me; staring down at me.
"Told you to behave, baby girl!" His toothy wicked smile and raspy voice made my body trumbling more.
"No..n..please.." I murmured, pleading to the devil for my life.
What have I done; have we done?
"Don't worry, baby girl! It's will be a bit painful! I promise that you don't have to suffer for long. I need only two drops! Don't worry, baby girl!" He was coming closer to me; I was going backwards in my sitting position.
"No..please leave me.." My voice was creaking up. His body was coming more closer to me.
"Don't worry. Don't worry..."
"No.. please...no..NO.."
"Dont..do...wake up.. Wake up..WAKE UP!" The male voice changed into a female voice and I got up from my trace with a jolt.
Opening up my eyes I looked at the person whom the voice was coming from.
Mom was standing in front of my bed holding my shoulders. She was looking worried and angry at the same time. Getting up from my laying position I noticed my soundings. The Sun rays were coming from the window; rain had stopped and clouds were shifting making the sky clear. The light from the last night was still on and I was holding the folding book tightly into my two hands. My left fingers were between the pages where I had stopped reading.
It was just a dream, nightmare..
"I told you to stop reading these kind of books at night! Again in this bad dream you were shouting!" Mom's angry voice made me snapped out from my horrible nightmare; yet made my body relaxed.
"Now get up. It's 7:30am already." Saying this mom went out from my room. I sat on the bed straight; rubbing my temples with my right fingers.
"Yeah, I shouldn't have read that..." I looked at my book. I needed to place it on my bookshelf.
Standing up from the bed I went to the bookshelf. My fingers of left hand were still stucked between the bookpages. I needed to know the page number and put a bookmark. Taking a bookmark from the table I opened that respective page where my fingers were stucked.
But, I stopped on my track dead; breathe stucked on my throat; eyes got widened in horror and shock; hands were trumbling horribly. The book fell on the ground with a thud; I was grasping loudly.
Two drops of dry blood were on the book page; only Two Drops!
