Chapter 4

Today, even though I woke up too early in the morning I'm too excited and nervous at the same time. Many questions are running through my head. What if I won't be able to make new friends? What if the people at the new school won't like me? What if due to my carelessness I'll lose the scholarship? What if the teachers won't, be good or won't support me? And the list goes on... I decided to ignore these what ifs for the time being and got ready to embrace what destiny has in store for me.

I got ready alongside Juliet whose face matched mine filled with ecstasy. Soon a mini bus was visible in site as we stood outside our mansion with my parents. We bid teary goodbyes and entered the bus. Different unknown faces appeared in my sight but not all of them were welcoming. No two side by seats were available and we sisters decided to part ways. She sat with a boy who looked quite nerdy with big, brown eyes covered with thick rimmed glasses and overall face absorbed in a book which seemed like some fantasy novel to me. I sat besides a boy who looked quite athletic wearing a jersey with a neutral expression on his face as if he was in some deep thoughts.

"Hey" I sad a bit loudly to grab his attention and he shook away his thoughts and turned towards me.

His warm smile brought a different yet comforting warmth to me and he introduced himself,"Hi, I am Ayaan." He forwarded his hand.

"I am Sasha" I said meekly and shook his firm hand. I turned to see Juliet getting herself accustomed with the nerdy boy as well. Looks like I don't need to worry about making friends, I thought with a smile.

Finally, our trip was over and we had reached our destination. There stood a huge gate. The entry to Dream High School. Where all dreams come true. There were almost 15 to 20 students with us as there was one more mini bus. With the owners we all were ready to open the massive gate. Each child's face showing excitement and a few adults making all of us make a queue, my heart was beating so loudly that I felt any minute it would leap out of my chest. The gate was opened to a minimal and one by one the students started entering. And as it was my turn, I looked inside the gate and stood bewildered.
