The Flame Games chapter 6

A family reunion!  C :

Everybody was standing on a small platform, in a circle around a ... Tardis? They were in this arena and it was divided into 4. In one quarter were woods. In another was a desert, another was woods covered in snow, and another you couldn't even see inside it. All you could see was lightning flashing and thunder was rumbling. Nico and Ardhoniels backs were facing the DaRkNeSs in the southeast corner. In the northeast corner, where the regular forest was, Legolas and Percy. In the northwest corner, Haldir, Snow and Kili were, with their backs to the desert. Jason, Aragorn and Frost were in the southwest corner where the snowy forest was. Standing on top of the tardis was Flame.

"Ladies and peoples!" She exclaimed dramatically. "Please listen and pay attention, because I'm about to tell you the rules and I'm not explaining it twice! Okay each of you are in a different quarter of this arena. There is a boundary between the divisions so you cant get into a different one. You must try to survive in the section you are in. When there is only one survivor in each quarter, the boundaries will disappear and you may try to survive on your own or kill everybody else. The last one standing will receive a Tardis key and can make their escape.!!! Any questions? Good! Start!"

Everybodys platform sprung up like a launch pad, and the peoplez landed in their sections.

Ardhoniel and Nico were inside the darkness. It was a little lighter inside, so it was like a twilight. The ground was just stone, with random bottomless pits everywhere and entrances to caves. It was empty, but for some reason there were little black squares floating in the air.

"I wish Legolas was here. " Ardhoniel pouted. She looked around. "This place is kinda gloomy and dark. But I like it."

"Yeah, " Nico agreed. "Me too." Then they heard a screech, and Nico jumped.

"What is it?"

"Alkheines. "

"Alk what?"

"Alkheines. "

"Is that bad?"

"If they touch you, you suffer a curse and possibly die. They pick a way you've killed or injured somebody, and do it to you. "

"So its probably bad then?"

"What does your heart tell you?"

Then a chicken looking demony thing appeared out of nowhere. It started chasing after them.

Nico said, "Hold my hand!"

"Ummm…………………………………………" Ardhoniel said confusingly, "Why?"

"Just DO IT!" Ardhoniel grabbed his hand. The scene changed, and they were in completely black space. Ardhoniel felt like she was wearing a tank top and shorts, under 1000 feet of snow in Antarctica. Then the scene changed again and they were in a cave.

Ardhoniel let go of Nico's hand. "What the flippdy-doo just happened?"

"Shadow travel." Nico replied.

"Woah! You can travel using shadows? Can you warp us out of the arena?" : D

"No. The force field is too strong. It would probably drain my life force. " : (

"Crapdee doo. "

A different voice said, "Yes, certainly crapdee doo."

Ardhoniel jumped and turned around. Nico calmly said, "Sup. "

"Sup son. " It was a man with pale skin and black hair. He had a shirt with skeletons covering it.

"Who are you?" Ardhoniel asked.

"I'm Hades, you can just call me dad. "

"Ummm, WHAT??" Ardhoniel and Nico said at the same time.

"I thought I was an Elf!" Ardhoniel said.

"You are. Half Elf, half god. Ess. "

"Dad just claimed you...." Nico was looking above Ardhoniels head.

"What is it?" She kept trying to look above her.

"A skull is floating above your head. " Hades said. "It means I have claimed you as a child. "

"Does this mean I get to shadow travel too?" =D : D :D

"If you practice." Hades answered.

"Or else you'll end up in China." Nico added.

"So my dad is the h word?"

"Yep. " They said simultaneously and at the same time.

"Omg. So why are you here, Had- uh, Dad? Wow, that sounds so weird."

"To say wassup. And to tell you that instead of being 1300 years old you're actually 13 because time passes differently in other earths. And to bring you this cheesburger." He pulled out a Wendy's bag and handed it to her.

"Uh, thanks, I guess? "

"You're welcome. Goodbye!"

The children of Hades sat down on the cold stone floor and ate.

"So what are we going to do?" Ardhoniel asked. "We cant just kill each other. Everybody else cant kill each other because they're buddies. I don't even have a sword!"

"I cant answer the first part, so here. " Nico handed her a black sword.

"Isn't this yours? "

"I have 2 of them. They're Stygian iron, forged from the River Styx. "

"Oh... thanks!" She took it and its sheath and flung it across her back. They didn't know what to do, so they stayed inside the cave and tried to get some sleep. But Ardhoniel couldn't sleep. She wondered how Legolas was doing................................................................................................

Ardhoniel woke up and saw that Nico wasn't there. Where is he? She wondered. She cautiously wandered to the entrance of the cave. After making sure there were no Alka- whatevers out there, she took one step out of the cave. She suddenly felt a something slam against her back and sent her sprawling on the ground. She rolled over, elbowed the something in the face, then stood on top of it and kicked it in the privates- then she realized the something was Nico.

"Why did you attack me??? What the heck were you thinking?? You don't just randomly attack your freaking cavemate!!!!"

He leaped up and glared at her. "You were never my freaking cavemate, idiot. You really think you would be a daughter of Hades and an Elf? We just made that up so you would trust me, so I could stab you in your sleep so I could-"

Ardhoniel slapped him in the face.

"Alright then." Nico said. "Ill just shadow travel out of the arena. Bye!" He disappeared and the force field made a weird noise and a cannon went off, obviously thinking he died since it didn't detect the little idiot anymore.

Ardhoniel rolled her eyes and walked back into the cave to see the stupid sword Nico gave her floating in the air. It saw her (if swords can even see things) and started attacking her. She quickly pulled out her dagger and blocked the poorly aimed shots. Then it broke in half and dropped to the ground.

"Well that sucks." She said.

Yes I know, first I was a Time Lord and now I'm a child of Hades, then suddenly I wasnt either! Well, I wanted to be part Elf and part something, but after I already wrote it I changed my mind and just wanted to be a full blooded Silvanus Elf. So yeah.
