Thanks To Them

"Luz, Peter, I'm so happy I had you guys as my big brother and sister." I hear King's words ring in my head. Kinda like millions of bells ringing at the same time, just as we got blasted through the portal door and back to the human realm. "No! King!" Luz and I screamed as the portal was destroyed again. Luz kept opening and closing the door, hoping to see King, but every time, it was the abandoned house. "Luz. Luz! Stop!" I cried, realizing that I never got to say goodbye to Lilith, or my mom. Willow kneeled by my side and tried to comfort me. Luz turned around just as Gus also started bawling.

As the rest of us stood by her side, Luz knocked on the door of her house. It wasn't long before Mrs Noceda answered the door. She gasped at the sight of her daughter. "Hey, Mom." Luz greeted. "I'm back." Though still in shock, Mrs Noceda pulls her daughter into a hug, grateful for her coming home.

Mrs Noceda fed all of us. While the others cleaned up and explained to her and Vee what happened, Luz and I grabbed some Band-AIDS. "I don't think those are going to work for Alexa." I said, remembering that her back was sliced up. "This should work." Luz explains, grabbing wraps from the medicine cabinet, just as Hunter came over to us. "Hey." Hunter greeted. "Thanks for not telling them that I'm..." "A Grimwalker?" Luz asked. "Shh! Don't say it so loud!" Hunter shushed. "What about you? How have you guys been since..." "Since we were in Belos's mind?" I sighed. "Since we found out we helped him meet The Collector?" "Oh my gosh, Hunter." Luz sniffles. "They're all gonna hate us." "No, of course they won't." Hunter scoffed. "They won't hate you guys any more than me when they find out that I might be a clone of, someone who was a witch hunter. With Belos." We felt guilty of lying, but we couldn't tell them the truth. At least, not yet. "We'll tell them." Luz explains. "When we're ready." Hunter and I nodded. We joined the others at the table. Me and Hunter helped Alexa wrap up her wounds. "Thanks for your help, guys." Alexa said to us as we helped her sit back down. "Your welcome." Hunter smiled. "Okay, so, in the Demon Realm, you fought the evil Emperor Belos who turned into a monster." Mrs Noceda wondered. "Well, he started out human." Gus explains. "Right, but he was defeated by a newer, smaller bad guy?" She asked. "The Collector. We don't know what he is or how Belos found him." Willow explains. "Who knows if we'll ever figure that out?" Luz lied. "But they're creating a lot of chaos." I added. "We have to do whatever it takes to get back." Amity said. "And you will, but for now, you should all rest." Mrs Noceda explains. "You're safe here."

Mrs Noceda put all us guys in the basement and the girls stayed with Luz and Vee. But after all that happened today, Gus stayed positive, especially since he was in the human realm. "Hunter! Look at all this awesome human stuff!" Gus exclaimed, popping some bubble wrap, accidentally breaking a snow globe. "Whoops." "I think it's just stuff here." Hunter said. "It's not much, but I hope you three will be comfortable." Mrs Noceda explains, giving us some more blankets. "We will, Luz's mom." Gus replied. "Don't worry. Gus and Hunter can stay at my place starting tomorrow." I explained. "Thank you for providing us with shelter, ma'am." Hunter thanked, bowing in front of her. "Please never do that again." Mrs Noceda said, heading upstairs to check on the girls. "And you can call me Camila. Buenas Noches." "Hunter, what the fuck?" I asked.

We all explored the inside of the abandoned house, knowing this is where our new portal will be.

It took Luz a short amount of time to create a slideshow, coming out to her mom as Bisexual. And Mrs Noceda was so excited to see Luz in a relationship. She hugged both her and Amity. Suck a cactus dick, Odalia!

Gus, Willow, and the twins each drew their families on paper and put them on a bulletin board next to some sketches of the portal. But the question remains, where would we find Titan's Blood in the Human Realm?

Mrs Noceda, or Camila, took us shopping for new clothes. Mainly for the others. Vee also came up with a new look of her own. Now that Luz was back, she could be herself.

Hunter did some research in the bathroom with a book on Gravesfield's witch hunters. Every time Hunter would look in the mirror, he would see Belos, or his doppelgänger, Caleb. He was panicking so much, he tried cutting his hair. Suddenly, Alexa walks in on him, but instead of ignoring him or freaking out, she decides to help him.

We were about to test drive our portal using Palismen. Hunter gave a thumbs up as they ran on what looked like hamster wheels, until the door caught on fire. Gus tried swinging a fire extinguisher like nunchucks, but Vee took it and put the fire out. Luz crouched down in disappointment, as Amity and I tried to comfort her.

Our friends tried to bake a cake, but it didn't seem very appetizing.

On a rainy night, Luz decided to show Amity that the rain here is harmless. Vee looks outside and jumps out into the rain. Gus jumped into a mud puddle, taking Hunter down with him. Alexa does a big cannonball in the mud as they all laughed. Camila gave a Polaroid camera to Willow. I helped her take a picture as she held the camera, just as Luz and Amity lifted a light spell into the sky.

After Monika dropped off Gus, Hunter, and I, Luz was trying to see if she could activate a light glyph. She eventually gave up as the bus came to take us to school.

Alexa's POV

Vee was showing us this owl ape on her tablet that teaches Spanish. None of us knew how to speak. "Am I doing this right?" Gus asked, rolling his R's. Vee translated the sentence perfectly. "¡Perfecto!" I heard the tablet say. "You're our top student!" "I was the top student once." Amity mumbled. Flapjack, Hunter's palisman continued pecking at the floor. "He's still doing that, huh?" I wondered. "It's been months." "He won't tell me what he's looking for." Hunter replied, just as Camila comes in the house. "Hi. Ooh! I like what you've done with the place." Camila greeted. "No more exposed nails or possum nests. But this still confuses me." She pushed the door open to reveal a terrible drawing of Hooty on the door. "Yeah. He still confuses us too." Willow explains. "Hola, Camila. We're learning Spanish from this scary owl app." Gus greeted. "I thought that was called an ape?" I asked. "Oh, okay. Well, I'm gonna go pick up Luz and Peter from school." Camila said. "Pop quiz. ¿Cómo se dice eso en español?" Hunter tried to answer her, but he couldn't figure out the translation. "Voy a recoger a Luz y Peter de la escuela." Vee replied. "Muy bueno! Keep it up." Camila complimented, leaving to get Luz and Peter. "I never expected to be a mother of eight." "Maybe we should take a break." I sighed. "A siesta." Willow said. "Siesta!" Gus exclaimed. "We've been here for months, and we've made no progress on the portal door." Amity explains. "We can't expect Camila or Monika and Ricky to take care of us forever." "In the meantime, we could pull more weight around the kitchen." Gus suggested. "My mustard ravioli did bring tears." "Those weren't the kind of tears you're thinking of." Vee explains. "I can help fix damaged clothes." Hunter suggested. "I can spruce up the garden." Willow suggested. "Maybe we need to look elsewhere." Amity said. "There's an entire Human Realm to search." "But Luz and Peter have school most of the week." Willow recalled, taking another picture. "So? Let's explore the town ourselves." Amity explains. "After all, Luz and Peter went into the Boiling Isles on their own." "If Eda came here before, maybe there were others." I said. "Maybe they left behind something we could use." Gus added. "Yes! That's the spirit!" Amity encouraged. "Together, there's no challenge that can hold us back!" Suddenly, her foot went through the floor board, causing her to trip. "It's a sign. We're doomed!" Gus cried. "You good, sis?" I asked. "Come on, Flapjack. This isn't funny anymore." Amity said, getting her foot unstuck.  "There's something in here." Amity picked up a small box. Inside of it was some kind of scroll. "Hmm, looks like a map." Gus said. "Or a secret code?" Willow asked. "Flapjack, is this what you've been looking for?" Hunter asked. "What does it lead to?" "That eye, it kinda looks like the old portal door." I said. "The portal door!" Gus and Willow gasped. "Portal door! Portal door!" "Let's tell Luz and Peter." Vee said. "What if it's just another dead end?" Amity asked. "They already feel responsible for our failed attempts. Especially Luz." "Then, let's not tell them until we can figure it out." Willow said. "Using our buff brains."

Peter's POV

I sat in Mr Sandoval's class listening to a lecture. ""Foes vanquished, he trod the shores of his fatherland, family by his side, finally at peace."" Mr Sandoval read. "This epic ends with the homecoming of not just a man, but a hero." "Hero? Everywhere he went, people ended up suffering." I said. "It does get bleak, but no one said his mission would be easy." Mr Sandoval explains. "And when you take into the ripple effects of his actions..." "Who cares about the ripple effect?!" Luz snapped. "He was just a pawn in someone else's game. And he was never smart enough to realize it. If his friends and family knew about his mission, they'd know they're lives would've never been in danger if it weren't for him. They should hate his guts, and it would be better if he literally never existed!" The entire class looked at her, very confused.

After class, I walked with Luz over to her locker. "That was an interesting lecture." I said.   "What was that shit about?" "I completely embarrassed myself!" Luz exclaimed, opening her locker, revealing various drawings and newspaper articles of Eda. "I don't know how to feel about pictures of Mom and King in your locker." I said. "Hey, you're Luz, right? And aren't you Peter, the class essay writer?" A boy asked. "Nice to meet ya. Both of you were right in class. We read about too many crusty old dudes. Give me books about crusty old women!" "We used to know one." Luz explains. "We've never seen you two around." "We're new, but we've heard all about you." The boy replied. "Are you gonna make another crazy costume for Halloween this year?" His friend asked. "Cause if you are, we're volunteering at the Haunted Hayride." The first boy said. "Old Gravesfield is the most haunted place in the state." His friend added.

Camila picked up both of us from school. "Do you think this food is okay?" Camila asked. "I wish I knew how to make demon food for your friends. Would they, um, prefer to drink blood?" "Mom." Luz shouted. "Ay, I'm sorry. I'm just saying if we need to find a way, we'll find a way." "Look out!" I shouted as Camila stopped the car, avoiding a crash.

Later that night, Monika picked up Hunter, Gus, and I from Luz's house. After dinner, Gus helped with the dishes. "Hey, Gus." I greeted playing video games as he came downstairs to my room. Hunter was fascinated by Monika's sewing machine. "We've got a big day ahead of us, so I am going to buenas this noche." Gus said, just as Hunter pokes his finger with the needle on the sewing machine. "You good? That sounded painful." "I've been training in the Emperor's Coven for as long as I can remember." Hunter scoffed. "I think I can handle a little...pain." He winces in pain as he's pierced by the needle. "Ooh, that shit went clean through." I commented, grabbing the medical tape as Gus wrapped up Hunter's finger. "Monika taught me how to use this sewing contraption. Even Darius's stitches have never been this neat." Hunter explains. "You can thank Camila for that." I said. "She taught Monika everything she knows." "Oh, and look at what I made!" Hunter exclaimed, holding a custom made wolf T-shirt. "These are mystical beasts called wolves, and I love them." "That looks great." Gus complimented. "You know, you've been smiling a lot more since we've been here." "It's not like I don't want to return." Hunter said. "I just need a way to pass the time. That's all." "No, it's good to see you happy." Gus explains. "One of us might as well be. What was it like to be in the Emperor's Coven for so long?" "I trained a lot. I studied a lot. I wasn't really allowed to be around the other scouts." Hunter explains. "But weekends were nice. I got to leave the castle for missions." "Belos's castle seems more like a prison, or Hell." I said. "Do you miss it?" Gus asked. "I miss knowing who I'm supposed to be." Hunter replied. "I miss my dad." Gus explains. "I miss my mom. And Lilith. And King. And maybe Hooty a little bit." I sighed. "We'll find a way back." Hunter said. "We have to." "Oh my Titan! That's a line from this book I found at Luz's house, Cosmic Frontier!" Gus exclaimed. "It's a story that takes place in the stars." "No fucking way!" I gasped. "I loved this book when I was little!" "Why would anyone want to go up there?" Hunter asked. "I don't know. Humans like spreading their junk everywhere." Gus replied. "It's a story about people trying to get back home, like us." "Characters like Captain Avery, Security Officer Quando, and Chief Engineer O'Bailey who's hiding as a clone from the enemy planet." I recalled. "At least that's what I remember. Maybe my friend Neil would like this book." "What happens to him?" Hunter asked. "I guess you'll have to find out." Gus and I replied in unison.

Hunter's POV

The next morning, I was a bit tired on the way to Luz's house. After all, I was reading Cosmic Frontier with Gus and Peter. As a Grimwalker myself, I feel very connected with the character of Chief Engineer O'Bailey. I wonder how he feels about wolves? "Alright, Luz is at her mom's vet clinic with Peter putting tiny little bandages on hedgehogs. So, today, we're going into town to solve this code." Amity explains. "Ears." Gus said, hiding his ears with his hat. "Routes." Vee added. "Snacks, check." Willow replied. "Younger twin rocking the wireless headphones, check." Alexa said. "Human disguise, check." I announced, showing off a costume inspired by Cosmic Frontier. "Oh, that is a look." Willow said, snapping a picture, while Alexa was looking a bit red in her face. The brunette smiled nervously. "According to Cosmic Frontier, this is what the modern human male wears." I explained. "This was written in the '90s about the year 2008." Vee commented. "Yeah, can't wait for that New Year's party." I said. "Did you get to the last chapter?" Gus asked. "O'Bailey is still hiding the fact that he's a Duplicate in hyperdisguise, but Captain Avery is figuring it out." I replied. "I think he already knows." Gus said. "Ah-bup-bup! No spoilers!" I shouted, covering my ears. "Hunter, I don't think the world is ready for the brave fashion choices of the year 2008. Please change." Amity said. "Don't listen to her!" Willow exclaimed, covering Amity's mouth. "Aw, geez, we're gonna miss the bus." Vee complained. "It's okay. I'll catch up." I explained. "There's a transport worm every half hour." "I'm gonna borrow that book when you're done with it." Alexa said as everyone left, leaving me with a smile on my face. Flapjack flew over to a mirror, convincing me to look at my reflection. "You know, maybe you're right, Flap." I said to my Palisman. "Even if I'm not who I'm supposed to be, I like who I am right now." All of a sudden, Flapjack noticed some weird goopy substance on the floor, but it looked kinda familiar. I touched it and I felt a weird feeling. Almost like someone was watching me.

Alexa's POV

We were lucky enough to catch the bus without Hunter. Vee showed us a bunch of places we could possibly find answers about the scroll. We started at a nearby magic shop. If I'm being honest, nothing in that shop seemed very magical.

The next place we tried was the library, which was very different from ours back home. Willow and I asked the librarian about the scroll, but she had no idea.

Our next stop was the zoo for some reason. We had to confront a certain species. Giraffes. Gus couldn't get them to say anything, but Willow took a picture of the giraffe, and that's when it started getting mad. "I don't blame our ancestors for banishing those guys." Gus said, bringing over a basket of nachos. "I was hoping it wouldn't come to this." Vee sighed. "I think I know where to go next."

Vee took us to this place called the Gravesfield Historical Society. Vee was still kinda scared. "You can wait here if it's too scary." Willow explains. "Peter told me about that creepy witch-hunter wannabe." "It's okay. We just faced down a giraffe. I can do this!" Vee exclaimed, kicking open the building's doors. "You're not Jacob." "We can all think Goddess for that." Masha, the person at the desk said. "He got fired after he started making edits to the exhibits. I work part time now. Say, have we met? Something about you seems familiar." "Uh, no. I'm new in town. I just have one of those faces." Vee lied. "But just the one. The normal amount of face." "What a coincidence, me too." They replied. "If you ever need a tour guide, hit me up." "We're actually here to ask about this old puzzle." Amity explains. "Do you know how to decode it?" I asked. "Ooh, a rebus." Masha replied. "They dug up a bunch of these in Old Gravesfield." "This is a rebus?" Gus asked. "Yeah, it's like a riddle where pictures and symbols make up a word." Masha replied. "Like, what do you think they were trying to say here?" "Chop off an ear!" Gus shouted. "No. See the H that comes first? Then combine that with the ear and maybe it means "hear" like to listen. Or "here" as in a place. Maybe something is waiting somewhere. I'll be right back." Masha left their desk to go answer a phone call. "If this is a portal door, then what about these?" I asked. "A ribbon and tanning a hide?" "That ribbon is tied together." Willow added. "Next to that hand with a cut." Gus added. "You don't think..." Willow said. "This is leading us to..." Gus added. "Tie tan's blood?" Amity read. "Titan's Blood!" We all gasped. "It's like you're reading each other's minds." Vee said. "You must've been friends forever!" "It wasn't always like this." I explained. "These past few months have been weird, but look at all the new memories we have now." Willow added, showing off a scrapbook. "It's been nice to finally spend some time together." "Yeah, I can't wait to show everyone at home." Amity said. "Maybe the scrapbook could use one more?" Vee asked. "Aw, come here, Vee." Willow said, handing over the camera to her. "Everyone say, "Giraffes are still terrifying!"." Gus added. After the picture was printed, Vee looked at the picture and noticed something. "Hey. That map of Old Gravesfield looks exactly like this." Vee explains. "Do you think it's a map to a stash of Titan's Blood?" "With that, we could actually create a portal!" Willow exclaimed. "I can't wait to tell Luz and Peter!" "And I know just how to surprise them." Amity said.

Peter's POV

I went with Luz to the vet clinic, she kept drawing possible creatures her palisman could be. "What will you be, little palisman?" Luz wondered. "A bird like Owlbert? A cool bug? Maybe an octopus so we can hold hands?" "You could be a badass little platypus like Lucky." I chuckled. "Or maybe you'll never hatch." Luz sighed. "And I messed up your life, too." "You know, Eda told us that they can hear us if we play a little music for them." I recalled. "How's the lamp working?" Camila asked. "Just fine." Luz replied. "Good. I'm ready to lock up." Camila explains. Just as Luz was standing up, she accidentally burned her hand after touching a plant glyph. "You good, Luz?" I asked. "Yeah." Luz replied as we got our stuff and went to the car.

We got back to Luz's house, Hunter met with us outside. "Hunter? What's wrong?" I asked. "Belos." Hunter replied, taking us to the abandoned house. "Are you sure you saw him?" Luz asked. "I thought the Collector destroyed Belos." "Yeah, I'm sure." Hunter explains, shaking. "Hey." Luz said. "We can wait for the others if you..." "No!" Hunter snapped. "We have to take care of this ourselves." "Well, in that case, let me grab my gun." I said, grabbing my rifle from the front porch of the old house. "I've been waiting for a special occasion to use this baby." "Titan, I hate this!" Hunter complained. "I was never scared as the Golden Guard." "Then how about we bring back some of that masked confidence, huh?" Luz asked, showing three masks that looked coincidentally similar to King, Hooty, and Owlbert. Hunter smiles and kicks open the door. "Alright, Belos! What's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what we say." Hunter said. "That's right! So come out with your hands behind your creepy, dumb head!" Luz shouted. "Otherwise, I will pump your fucking guts full of lead!" I added. The three of us explored the house to see if we could find Belos, until we found a creepy basement hidden by some wallpaper. In this basement, we found a wooden closet that was shaking a lot. Luz opened the closet to find a possum inside, hissing at us. "Oh thank goodness. It's just a little angel." Luz sighed with relief. "Die, bitch!" I shouted, shooting the possum with my gun. "Sorry." "No one's here." Hunter said. "I guess it was just in my head." "Well, can't blame you for being paranoid after everything we've been through." Luz explains. "Yeah. You know, I just want to make sure everyone's safe." Hunter said. "Same, and that includes you too." I explained. "What?" Hunter asked. "Yeah, gonna make sure you're safe too, Hunter." Luz replied. "You're family now." "Oh." Hunter chuckled, but then started crying. "Ah, this mask is pretty gross now." "Let's get back before anyone worries." I said. "Yeah. Everything is okay." Hunter sighed. "Belos is gone."

We left the abandoned house and headed back to Luz's place. "Hey, we're back! And we bought some, uh, cars." Hunter lied. "Guys! We're designing our costumes for the Haunted Hayride." Amity said. "Guess what I've got planned?" Gus asked. "I'm gonna be Captain Avery, and you're..." "Chief Engineer O'Bailey?!" Hunter gasped. "Security Officer Quando?!" I squealed. "How do you know about Cosmic Frontier?" Camila asked nervously. "All the books in your basement." Hunter replied. "And Peter's personal collection." "Funny how things just show up in basements, right?" Camila chuckled nervously. "Without you hiding or putting them there. Life sure is full of surprises." "Cool! Humans freak out just like us." Gus said. "It'll be fun. We want to experience your weird human traditions." Willow explains. "Willow and I are going to be bats." Alexa explains. "And I thought you and I could take inspiration from Good Witch Azura The Movie 2: The Betrayanning." Amity suggested. "I could be the Hecate to your Azura. What do you think, Luz?" "Oh, wow. Yeah, let's do it!" Luz exclaimed.

The next day, we all went to the Gravesfield Halloween Festival. "Babe, you have never looked more adorable." I flirted with Willow. "Thanks Peter." Willow replied. "Why do you have your gun with you?" "Self defense." I replied. "Plus, it's the perfect prop for my costume. Every Galactic Security Officer should have a gun." "We're gonna have the best night, and we might even have a surprise for you." Alexa said. We went over to watch a performance of something, until Jacob tried to expose Gus, who was stealing the spotlight.

All of us were about to go to the Hayride. "I hope you're all prepared for a truly scary ride. Masha said. "Make us cry!" Willow and Gus chanted. "Make us cry!" "Because there is nothing scarier than knowledge." Masha continued. "Boo! Just lie to me!" Gus exclaimed. "Let me tell you the eeriest unsolved mystery of Gravesfield. The tale of the Brothers Wittebane." They said. "Wittebane? Isn't that Belos?" Alexa asked. "The year is 1613. Two orphaned brothers arrived in Gravesfield. Their names, Philip and Caleb." Masha began. "Caleb did his best to take care of his younger brother. They tried to fit in with this town, and it's unsavory practices. They became Witch Hunters! Local lore suggests that the Brothers Wittebane met a real witch from another world! Her name was Evelyn. And the older brother was spirited away. She dazzled him with magic and visions of a strange, yet beautiful place. They used a secret code to travel between worlds. Philip set off to save his brother and bring the witch to justice. But neither were ever seen again! Maybe Philip saved Caleb and they went on to lead peaceful lives. Or maybe he's still chasing his brother, caught in a cycle of horror and strife! Sounds like big bro got a hot witch girlfriend and little bro got upset, but that's just me." As we got off the hayride, Hunter grabbed both me and Luz by the arm. "Luz! Peter!" Hunter whispered, taking us behind the tractor. "What's going on?" I asked. "It's him. He's here." Hunter replied. "I saw him this time. And it wasn't in my head after all. You guys believe me, right?" "Well, how can you be sure? What would he be doing here?" Luz asked. "Titan Blood." Hunter whispered. "I'm not supposed to tell. But that secret code that guide mentioned? It's a puzzle, a rebus we found in the shack. Amity thinks it leads to Titan Blood." "Titan Blood? Puzzles? Amity?" Luz asked. "Why didn't anyone say anything?" I added. "You guys and your families do so much for us." Hunter explains. "We wanted to do something for you, and she's gonna surprise you with it tonight." "That is so sweet." Luz said suspiciously. "We need to find the Titan Blood first. Just to be sure." I explained. "We don't want to freak anyone out yet." "You don't believe me yet, do you?" Hunter asked. "Fine, I'll prove he's here. Flapjack, can you get the rebus?" Flapjack looked at Hunter suspiciously. "I'll say that again. Get the rebus!" Hunter snapped as the palisman flew off to grab this rebus from Amity's pocket. "Hey, what the hell?" I asked. "Sorry. I don't know what came over me." Hunter apologized as Flapjack returned with the rebus. "Good work."

Luz, Hunter, and I ran into the woods. Hunter ran ahead with the rebus, but stopped and winced in pain. "There!" Hunter shouted, running further into the woods. "Hunter!" Luz shouted as we followed him, however, we couldn't find him anywhere. "Wait! Hunter is following the rebus to the Titan's Blood. But how can we find the blood without him?" I asked. Luz gasped, pulling a glyph from her pocket and successfully activated it. "Glyphs are powered by the magic of the isles. By the Titan itself." Luz gasped. "The closer we are to the Titan's Blood, the stronger the glyphs become."

The glyphs led us to a flooded graveyard. Luckily, we both had some ice glyphs handy. We were able to find Hunter, but the rebus was ripped to shreds. "Hunter, are you okay?" I asked. "Did you see Belos." "Oh, no. Just my imagination playing tricks again." Hunter replied. "Why don't you find the Titan Blood while I find my palisman? Little guy got spooked off." "Good idea. All this Belos talk has me on edge." Luz replied. "But I hate to ruin Amity's surprise. I really appreciate that everyone wanted to do this." "Luz, we have such great friends." I sighed. "Have you found the blood yet?" Hunter asked. "We're on it." Luz explains. "We just have to..." All of a sudden, we saw Flapjack hiding behind a tombstone. "Flapjack? Why do you look so scared?" I asked Hunter's palisman. "Luz. Peter. Did you use an ice glyph to get here?" Hunter asked, sprouting horns from his head. "Your magic is working." "What the fuck?!" I gasped as we heard our friends looking for us. "I saw you. Glyphs do work here." Hunter said, but with the voice of Belos. I thought I was done giving hurtful names to Hunter. Or Belos. Emperor Bastard? Bunter? Helos? We have a winner! "You! You survived!" Luz gasped. "I did. Thanks again for all the help, you two." Helos said. "But I don't need you anymore." He tried to destroy us with his claws, but only hit Luz's hat and wig as Flapjack flew over to us. "Flapjack!" I exclaimed as Helos grabbed the Titan's Blood from the ground. I drew a spell circle to get the vial away from Helos. Luz used a bunch of glyphs, but worried about hurting Hunter. "You're not even trying right now." Helos taunted. "What? Afraid you'll hurt him?" "Is that Hunter?" I heard Camila ask. "Something's wrong." Gus replied. "See, this is why you're so useful, Luz and Peter." Helos said. "You're both so desperate to help people, you even helped me meet the Collector." "What?" Amity and Willow asked. "We didn't mean to." Luz cried. "We thought we were doing something good." I added. "You did do something good. I thought this one was another lost cause." Helos explains. "Because of you, we can finish our work as Witch Hunters, starting with them!" Amity, Alexa, Willow, and Gus summoned their Palismen and came after Helos with everything they had. Gus tricked him with illusions, Vee tried absorbing his power like Kirby, and Willow tied him down. Helos knocked the teens down from the sky. Flapjack came to Luz as she charged at Helos, while I tried to keep him stationary with some vines. "I know you can hear me, Hunter." Luz strained. "Fight him off!" Helos grabbed me with his claws and threw me and Luz. The twins were lucky enough to break our fall with abomination magic. Flapjack pecks at Helos's horns as he grabs the palisman with his claws. "That's right. You wouldn't want me hurting your precious palisman, would you?" Helos asked. "Oh, but then again, I don't care what you think. Goodbye, Evelyn." Helos crushes Flapjack open, trying to absorb his soul, but somehow, Hunter started to regain control of his body. Flapjack flies over to me and Luz, knowing he doesn't have much time left. "Flapjack!" Luz shouted. "Flapjack, you'll be okay." "You know what I'd like, Belos?" Hunter asked. "I'd like to leave the Emperor's Coven, and never step foot in that throne room again. I'd like to study wild magic and learn how to carve Palismen. I'd like to attend Hexside as a regular student and play Flyer Derby with my friends. But most of all, I'd like to make sure you never hurt anyone again!" As Hunter threw the Titan Blood into the water, Belos regained control of Hunter's body. "No!" He shouted, diving in after the vial. "Hunter!" Alexa shouted, jumping in after Hunter, even though she couldn't swim. "Lex!" Amity cried. "Oh, no, no!" Luz panicked. "Move." Camila said, jumping in to rescue Alexa and Hunter. Camila comes up to the surface with both teens. "Be careful with them!" Willow warned. I used some of my healing magic on Alexa to help her regain strength. "Sis! You're okay!" Amity gasped. All of a sudden, Belos began to leave Hunter's body, taking the Titan Blood with him. "Caleb! You would stab me in the back?!" Belos asked. "You did it to him first." Luz replied angrily. "And his name is Hunter!" I exclaimed. Belos smashed the vial against an arch, creating a portal to the Isles. "This is for the good of your souls. You'll thank me later." Belos said, walking through the portal backwards. "That's the Belos you've been fighting this whole time?" Camila asked. "Guys, Hunter isn't moving." Alexa explains in a broken voice. "Vee, call an ambulance." Camila ordered. "Do human doctors know about possession?" Alexa asked. "Or Grimwalkers?" Luz added. "Possession?!" Camila gasped. "Grimwalkers?!" Willow added. "No, Hunter!" Alexa cried. "Please wake up, Hunter. I need you. I love you. Please be okay." "We should still call a doctor." Camila said. "I'm not getting any cell reception." Vee explains. "What do we do?" Amity asked. All of a sudden, Flapjack walked up to Hunter, rubbing against his face. Flapjack saves his friend's life, sacrificing his own. "Hey guys." Hunter greeted weakly. "Is everyone else okay?" "Actually, Flapjack..." Gus explains. "Don't. Don't." Hunter sniffles. "I already know." Alexa does her best to comfort Hunter. "Sit up slowly, baby. Are you in pain anywhere?" "I'm okay." Hunter replied. "Guys, what did Belos mean when he said you helped him meet the Collector?" Amity asked. "I mean, that was a lie, right?" "No, it was true." I replied. "If it weren't for us, the Day of Unity would've never happened." "There was this time pool, and we met him. We met him when he was still just Philip, and I taught him the light spell." Luz explains. "We introduced him to the Collector, we set everything into motion. We're sorry, everyone." "Why did you keep all that a secret?" Amity asked. "We were scared. We thought you'd all hate us for it." I replied. "Which is why I made a decision." Luz added. "I think it'd be in everyone's best interest if I..." "Took your mama to the Demon Realm!" Camila interrupted. "What?!" Luz and I gasped. "We couldn't hate you guys." Willow said. "The fact that you still stand up for us means enough." Amity added. "Mija, now that I know what you're up against, there is no way I'm letting you go back alone." Camila explains. "It is our duty to help your friends get back to their families." "But..." Luz said. "You were tricked. That's what Belos does, he tricks people." Hunter explains. "But if it weren't you, it would've been someone else, and then there'd be no one left to fight back. So, let's do that. Let's fight back. Please? For Flapjack?" "For Flapjack." Luz and I replied as the portal began flashing. "The portal's closing." Vee said. "Then we better head in." I explained. Hunter and Alexa stepped up first. "Time to go home, Flap." Hunter sighed, walking through the portal. "See you in a minute." Alexa said, following him. Before going into the portal with Gus, Willow kissed me on the cheek. "Goodbye, Human Realm." Gus said. "Thank you for showing me your secrets. I hope to see you again." "Thanks for the memories." Willow said. "We'll be back after we get some revenge." "Luz, I know things are scary and I don't know what the future holds." Amity explains. "But it would be so cool if you were a part of that. But no more hiding, okay?" "I understand." Luz replied. "See you on the other side. Promise." Amity kissed Luz on the cheek and hugged me before stepping through the portal. "Here, you'll probably need this." Vee said, handing Camila a baseball bat. "Are you coming Vee?" Camila asked. "I don't think I'm ready." Vee explains. "Besides, someone has to keep up appearances." "Tell the staff I've gone home to see my Abuela." Camila explains. "Carmen's in charge, Monika and Dianne have my schedule. And, thank you, Vee." "Hey, Vee. Tell Monika and Ricky thanks for letting Gus and Hunter stay." I said. Vee nodded. "Are you ready?" Camila asked. "Are you? I'm not sure what we'll see on the other side." Luz replied. "Then we don't want to leave unprepared." Camila said, pointing at the Azura hat from Luz's costume. "A good witch always has to have her hat." "And her best friend by her side." I added. "Us weirdos have to stick together." We walked through the portal as it was closing, not ready for what we would see.

All I'm gonna say is that Spanish translations are easier to find than Thai. Also, we're in the endgame now. -Mal.
