Go Time
Alice suddenly got another call on her phone. This time, it was from Geoffrey! She worriedly answered it, "Hey, Geoffrey."
"Hi, Alice," Geoffrey said back, "I just wanted you to know that the party's all ready to go! You and Lenny can start coming over here now!"
"O-okay," Alice didn't know how she was ever going to get Lenny to follow her to Parrot Park after the misunderstanding. She went into his crying bush and said, "Hey, Lenny."
Lenny didn't say anything. "There's something that I need to talk to you about." No response. "That stuff I said earlier? I... I didn't mean it." Lenny still remained silent, much to Alice's concern. "Lenny, a-are you alright?"
"Sorry, it's just that," Lenny finally spoke up, "I really don't feel like talking right now."
Alice sighed and decided that there was only one way to solve this: she had to come clean. She leaned in a little closer to Lenny's face and said, "Lenny, it's time that I told you what's really going on."
"What?" Lenny was now more curious than a kitten at a rope convention.
"You see," Alice explained, "it's at Parrot Park. Come with me there, and you'll find out what it is. Oh, and you'll need a blindfold."
Lenny complied to Alice's words, taking his bandanna and tying it around his eyes. He took Alice's hand, gathered up his younger siblings, and together, they headed out for Parrot Park.
