A light appeared in the window of a house in the woods. It was the middle of the night and everypony was asleep, or so it was thought. 

A slight cackle could be heard from the other room, it just didn't sound right to Twilight. Nightmare moon had been gone for a while since Luna had changed back and calmed down.

Twilight Sparkle shot up soon after and went over to the window to see she was no longer in Ponyville.

Panicked by the realization she'd had, Twilight paced back and forth passed the window trying to figure out what could be going on. 

"Where in Equestria am I?" She thought out loud.

She stopped in front of the window again, looking out once more and taking in the scenery. 

She saw a small clearing in front of the window that was met by a forest's treeline, small cobblestone pieces curved to the right of her window.

"This is definitely NOT Equestria anymore-" Twilight mumbled before inspecting the room she woke up in. 

It was all wood, almost like a cabin, loose nails sticking out of some places in the boards, but not a danger to be around.

*CREAK*

Twilight stopped what she was doing and quickly ran over to what she thought was the closet and changed into a tattered gown from her sleepwear. 

Now to think of it... What was on her sleepwear? It was black and smudged around the cloth. 

*CREAK* 

The floorboards above her made noise again. She was NOT alone, wherever she was...

"Stop shoving me!"

"You started it!"

Unknown voices were coming from the same place the creaks had been heard before. Who could they be?

"GIRLS!" A third voice shouted from across the house.

Twilight was curious as to what was going on... Could it be the same thing that happened to Fluttershy awhile back? Fear started to set in as Twilight didn't know what to do in this type of situation. There were no books about this, not yet anyways-

"I guess I just have to really show my acting skill here then," Twilight mumbled to herself. 

The more she looked around the room, she saw cleaning supplies, sewing stuff, and even a mouse hole. 

*Squeak!*

"Oh no, I am NOT doing this... This is Fluttershy's thing! Not mine,"

Twilight panicked again. She wasn't good at communicating with animals or helping them, that was what Fluttershy did, it's even what she got her CUTIEMARK in! Why was this happening to her? Was there a mixup in the way these odd occurences were happening? No, this had to be some sort of test, and if Twilight was good at anything, it was taking tests and acing them. She couldn't fail this... She wouldn't.

"I just need to breathe... Maybe this will go over better than I expect,"

She took a step closer to the mousehole and got down a little bit. Soon after 3 small mice in little colored cloths came out and stopped in front of her. They weren't scared, and they even seemed to recognize her...

What could be her story to escape?

I'm so sorry for leaving you on the edge, wanting more... I made a post explaining what happened on our page, so be sure to go check that out. I hope this update to the chapter is good enough to satisfy your wants for it. I do plan on writing more chapters and getting them out ASAP, but still well-done. It's been a long time since I started this series and planned it out, so I don't remember much of what I originally wanted to do, but just know I'm going to try to make it worth it and that there are more stories to come in this series after this. Now that we are back we want to do anything and everything to make it up to you, our fans. We left you for years, no explanation, no warning....
