I start walking around, smelling the other trees.
I didn't smell the other riders anywhere.
I go back to Toothless, and he coos at me, Hiccup climbing on.
Toothless lools back at me, and starts to bolt through the trees.
I snatch Silver, gently holding her in my jaws.
I place her on my back after a little bit.
I try to keep still, as to not hinder her running. I hold onto my backback straps tightly.
As they ran through the woods, the two dragons stayed close to one another, making sure thier riders were on properly.
Then, Toothless stopped at the base of a tall mountain.
It reminded Moon of the Autobot base.
She was getting homesick. Very badly.
But Moon recognized this moumtain.
She recognized it very well.
Toothless phased through the wall, and I was almost too stunned to follow.
It was still here.
I slowly step through the veil, rafters and nests filling the hollowed out mountain.
But barely any of the pens were filled.
When I was a kid, the pens were brimming with all sorts of breeds of dragons.
Now, only seven out of the 300+ pens were barely full.
I looked around at all the empty holes in the walls that sort of resembled pens.
I could feel a mix of sadness and shock from Moon. I could see it in her eyes as she looked around.
It hurt me to see her in that much pain.
"What happened?" I asked.
"The person that gave Gracie that scar." Hiccup replied coldly, adjusting his fake foot.
I growl loudly. He was going to pay. He has taken so much from me, and now Hiccup.
I can't say that.
If He was standing right in front of me, I would have backed off like a coward.
I patted her neck, trying to comfort her.
I felt her hand on my neck.
I still growl lowly, angry that he was picking off dragons one by one.
Hiccup got off Toothless, both of them walking to a snall firepit not that far away.
Hiccup picked up a fur hood from a wooden chair next to the fire pit.
I smelled it.
Astrid.
I snarled. If He harmed her...
"Easy. She's fine." Hiccup assured Moon, putting the hood back down.
I look up at the rafters again.
The dragons were slow and sad, barely any life in them anymore.
I hang my head, remembering what it was like when I was a kid.
It was always full of life.
Never a dull moment.
I collapse, remembering how Hiccup saved me from the cold while my foot was stuck in a trap.
I still had my Gliders at the time.
I remember how he took me in, even with Gliders poking out of my back.
I wondered how he was still alive.
Hiccup smiled. "Ever hear Legends never die?"
Hiccup didn't wait for an answer.
"Helping Gracie gave all of us eternal life. We are Legends."
I blink blankly.
"They turn from dust unto gold, you will remember me for centuries," I mutter one of my favorite songs, but I change it about every hour.
Hiccup looked at Silver, a little confused.
I just shake my head sarcastically at them.
I look up, jumping to one of the lower rafters.
My wingspan was a little to big to fly in here.
I kept jumping higher and higher, all the way to the opening in the top.
I watched as my friend jumped higher and higher on the thick wooden rafters, going to the hole in the top.
I smile.
Moon deserved to have a little fun every once and a while.
Toothless went up after her, knowing what she wanted to do.
Silver was left alone with Hiccup.
Hiccup watched as the two climbed all the way to the top, then he pulled out two chairs, sitting in one of them.
He sighed. "She grew up."
I watched the dragons, amazed. I hadn't seen this many dragons in one place at the same time since I left my first life.
"This is amazing." I mutter to myself, sitting down.
Hiccup glanced at the ground. "You should have seen it when she was little." He chuckled sadly.
"I wish I could." I mutter sadly, watching some of the dragons and some of the fading wooden furniture.
Hiccup chuckled dryly. "It was much better than this," He gestured to the cavern around them. "It was... Happy here... We rescued many breeds of dragons and nursed them here. Ths would be a safe place for them to breed... Then... He showed up." Hiccup shivered, gripping his left forearm.
"You okay?" I ask in concern.
Hiccup shook his head. "He has bwen terrorizing us for years. He's worse than Viggo." He looked at his fake foot, then at me.
"What else has she accomplished?" Hiccup asked, his eyes sparking in happiness.
"Well, she's with S, and has Star and Anti." I say, shrugging my shoulders.
"S? Anti? Star? Who are they?" He asked me.
"S is her Mate, Anti is her adopted son, and Star is her daughter." I explained.
Hiccup chuckled to himself, his eyes watering happily. "When she was little, she never believed she could be the Alpha."
"She makes a great one." I grin happily, bragging on my sister's behalf.
Hiccup nodded. "I knew she was more than she thought." He smiled a little to himself.
He shot up. "Wait here."
He went into a little wooden hut, coming out in a few seconds.
He was holding a very old, hand-carved bow.
"This was hers. We made it together." He chuckled, handing me the bow. "We gave her the nickname 'Artemis'."
He handed me the bow.
"Like the greek goddess of the moon, archery and wildlife." I muttered to myself as I looked the bow over. "Its amazing." I said, complementing the intricate curves in the wood.
I handed it back to Hiccup. I didn't want to break it.
He smiled, setting it down on the table.
