I was stuck in Silver's phone. How, you may ask? Just ask my son, Anti.
I see her stuck in my phone. I pul her out and laugh. "How'd you get in there?"
"Ask the demon that put me there!" I say, pointing to my son in the corner
Anti and I laugh, and she plops down on the ground.
"Really? The both of you?" I huff, crossing my arms.
I try to stifle a laugh as I step in front of her, avoiding her wings.
"Sorry mom." Anti replied, looking a little afraid.
"What's wrong?" I ask, noticing that this was not his normal behavior.
I keep trying not to laugh. I just couldn't stop.
"Silver. Enough." I snap, watching my son's face become pained as I stand in front of him.
I stop laughing. "Yes mom." I mutter.
Anti suddenly wraps his arms around me, saying "I'm sorry, mom. I'm sorry..."
I hold him at arm's length. "Sorry for what?" I glance at Silver, worried.
"I... I couldn't tell you before. But now I have to." He looks away from me.
I glance at Silver, hoping for some sort of hint on why he was so distressed.
I shrug, hoping it wasn't too serious.
"Anti, What's wrong?" I ask, using my hand to turn his face towards me
His arms constrict around me tighter. "I... I have to go to war... For two years."
I let a gasp slip from my lips. Moon's family was going to be split apart by war; again.
I feel tears well in my eyes. "Will you be home at least for the holidays?"
He shakes his head. "I don't know."
"Did you tell Star?" I ask.
His face goes red in anger. "If I couldn't tell you, what makes you think I could tell Star? Or dad?" He asks, tears beading on the sides of his eyes.
The soldier broke down in sobs, gripping his mother and Silver tightly, all three of them collapsing on the floor.
I wince at the touch. But I still hug them back.
The soldier calms a little, finally letting go of his sobbing mother and his aunt. He took something out of his pocket and gave it to Silver.
"If anything happens to me, give that to my sister, okay?" He asked, choking on his words.
I promise him, clutching the small object in my hand.
The soldier broke down again, taking a tiny piece of formed metal and giving it to his mother.
"Please... Give that to dad for me." He begged, his eyes reddened.
I don't look at the object he gave me. I just take it and grip him tight. I didn't know if this would be the last time I could ever hold him.
The soldier disappears in a cloud of green mist, leaving his mother in heartbreak.
I blink blankly. Did that just happen? Was this real? No... He was just at base with the bots... Playing with his sister... He wasn't at war. He didn't...
The Alpha burst into tears, clutching to the friend she considered a sister, clutching the small metal object in her hand.
I hugged her tightly, making sure to not touch her wings. I let her cry into me. She needed to let it all out. Her poor family, ripped apart. Again.
I grip her tighter and tighter. "This can't be real... It isn't real!" I scream into thr sky, my tears running down my cheeks.
I wrap my wings around my sister, only her existing at the moment with my shattered heart.
I let her hug me as tight as she can. I know she needed this, needed comfort in a time of heartbreak.
The Alpha's Mate, S, appears in the room, sensing that his Mate was in distress.
He knelt beside the both of them, his long arms wrapped around the two.
He already knew. He already had his denial. Already had the few moments of heartbreak.
He loved Anti as if he were his own, but he was no where near attatched to him as Moon was. He could only imagine her heartbreak.
I smile at S before putting all my attention back on Moon. I need her more than she needs S.
I grip them both ewually tight, my body shaking in shock.
"Wh- Wh- Where.... S - S - St..." I start hyperventalating, not knowing where to go.
My son was gone.
"Easy. She's at base." S replies, but all Moon seemed to want was her sister.
"Hey, she's fine, Moon. S is fine, you're fine. The bots are fine. I'm fine. Just calm down and breath." I say, trying to calm my friend's nerves. She needed me.
Moon gripped Silver's and S' hands, forcing her breathing to calm and her heart rate to slow.
She kept breathing slowly, exhausted.
S put his hand to her forehead, and she collapsed into his arms, asleep.
He glanced at Silver, holding his Mate close to his chest. "She needed to calm down... I didn't know what else to do." He said, looking into Silver's eyes.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Not everyone has magic like yours." I mutter to myself, watching your face become instantly peaceful. "She needed that." I say, taking a stray tuft of her silver hair and tucking it behind her ear.
S picks his mate up gently. "Come on. She'd want to see you when she wakes up."
"Yessir." I muttered to myself and gave him a mock salute. But I still knew he was right and I didn't need to be told to follow twice.
S teleported all of them to the Autobot base, gently setting his Mate down on the couch. He wished he could stay longer.
"I've got to go back to work. Please, look after her." He said to Silver before disappearing to his workplace.
"Of course I will, not that you'd stay long enough to listen to my response." I mutter sarcastically to myself, looking for a blanket for Moon.
I found one on the recliner. I took it, draping it over her wings.
Several loud tire squeals roared into base without notice.
Panicking, I place a sound barrier around Moon, careful not to wake her.
She needed the rest.
I turned to see Bulk, Arcee, Bee, and thier charges.
"Guess I'll explain myself this way." I mutter, glancing at Moon passed out peacefully.
Author here. Just a little backstory of Silver for a moment. Silver met Moon and they became good friend, thus Silver meeting the bots. Raf, Jack, and Miko are friends with her at school, and they have no idea she knows of the bots or Moon or her realm.
Okay! End chapter! I think this turned put pretty well.
Don't worry, Silver-Ashley and I have plenty more where that came from!
Thanks, Silver for letting me use our chats, again!
Peace!
