Day 14
"I do." The acceptance travels through your body like wildfire, igniting all of your senses.
Marrying the love of your life is just a few words ahead, so when the priest asks you the big question, you don't hesitate to respond with the same eagerness as Dean, "I do."
A few minutes later, the crowd is cheering for you when you exit the modest church where are you decided to say your vows. Neither of you are entirely believers of the faith, but you wanted to do things by the book for once. So, exactly one year after your engagement, being Mrs. Winchester feels like a certain fulfillment you never thought marriage would bring.
On the crowd, you can see your father smiling proudly. Beside Bobby, Sam is cheering so loudly in a way you've never seen before. Even old grumpy John Winchester seems to be approving of the situation. The rest are other friends you've gained along the way; hunters, and civilians. Yet, the only person you can really focus on is your now husband on your side. And the sentiment is mutual.
"Are you sure you don't want to skip the party and start our honeymoon?" Dean asks for the second time that day. You laugh at his words, but your teasing smile gives him the answer he seeks. It turns out you won't be going exactly by the book.
