Bombgenious (Part 1)
Marinette was sitting in front of her sewing machine and computer screen, in her room. She was working on a new jacket for herself, carefully sewing the white and pink fabric together. She wasn't the only one wondering about things. Like, she was thinking about how she couldn't be capable of asking Adrien Agreste out on a date. It seemed so simple. So easy, way easier than it really was. True all she has to say was a couple of sentences, but whenever she tried to she either got interrupted by someone or she messed it up by stuttering and panicking about the answer. She wished it would be as easy as it is shown in books and films, it is not. True, she is only fifteen, but she should be able to ask a boy a simple question without stuttering. She isn't that ten-year-old girl who is scared of boys. She never was like that, to be honest. She wished and hoped to understand herself, she just couldn't. Even when she practised those lines in front of a mirror, her computer screen or said it to Alya or Tikki she messed up already. Nothing helped her get over it. Plus, all that Chloe and Lila stuff just made her feel worse.
'Marinette?' Tikki called her name.
'Yes, Tikki?' Mari turned around, one of her eyes still on her sewing machine since she was still sewing.
'Don't you think you been sewing that Jacket a little too much?' asked Tikki.
Marinette snapped out of her mind and looked at her work. Her feet couldn't move off the machine, it just stayed there. This meant the sewing machine just kept on sewing, while Marinette rotated the fabric around. The fabric had many uneven lines going everywhere. It looked horrible.
'Is everything alright, Mari?' she looked concerned now.
'I am fine.' Marinette took a deep breath.
'Doesn't seems like so, tell me, what is wrong?' Tikki sat on top of Marinette's 9th-grade math book.
'It is just, it doesn't matter how hard I try, I can't make mys-'
She stopped. There was clash heard outside, on the streets. Marinette looked out of her window. There were police cars everywhere. They surrounded the streets, closing many streets.
'Tikki, let's go.' she turned around as she closed her curtains, 'Tikki, spots on!'
* With Chat Noir.
Chat was standing on top of The Agreste Mansion, as he was using his metal stick to pass through houses. His Lady was nowhere to be seen, which was weird since it is usually Ladybug is normally the first one to get to trouble before him. He was desperate to see her again; even so he saw her yesterday and the day before that too.
'Hello, Kitty.' Ladybug jumped to the same house he was on. She was in a cute pose, she was holding her waist with one of her hands and with the other she was playing with her yo-yo. Wow, she is so stunning, Chat thought. Everyone in Paris knew that there was no deny, she was indeed stunning. In fact, she was even more than stunning; she was a real beauty.
She had a very lady like body, she was just perfect. Her mysterious mask and her outfit just made her look even more attractive. Chat Noir was the second most attractive male in Paris, Adrien Agreste was the first one. To be honest, Chat was first and second most attractive, considering the fact that he is Adrien Agreste under his mask. He was the perfect example of a male, he had strong muscles and the dark suit made him look even more romantic and mysterious. He is so handsome, thought most of Paris. Ladybug and Chat Noir were perfect matches for each other.
'Hello, my Lady.' he smirked, as he bowed in front of her. A small smile appeared on Ladybug's face, but it didn't stay for very long since the two superheroes heard another crash.
'Let's not waste any more time. Hurry.' Ladybug snapped.
'Of course, My Lady.' Chat mumbled as he ran after her.
This time the villain was a boy. He had light brown, with brown eyes. He wore a medieval type of clothes, stuff that young boys wore in Henry VIII's time. He had a green and red hat on, and a feather was hanging out of the hat. Marinette found this very stylish; she loved these kinds of clothes. It made Mari imagine how popular these kinds of clothes were in 1490-1550s. He wore light brown pants (that totally looked like tights), a pair of dark green shoes that was so flat it barely had any heels and a top that looked at lot like a vest that had a checkered pattern on it with the colours orange and red. He also had an emerald gem on his chest, placed on his checkered vest. This boy's power was that he could create Math squares (these were squares that trapped you in and there was no way out from them except if you answered the math question that was asked), if you don't answer the question in time, the box will explode. He was also able to throw random bombs at people and buildings (those were the sounds heard by the heroes). He gave himself the name: Bombgenious.
'I got you now! Answer the question in one minute, or the box will explode. But I can make a deal with you, you either explode or you either decide to give me your miraculous stones, and I will let you free! Is the deal up?' Bombgenious laughed. He had a very young, in fact maybe an immature face, and a body that hasn't fully developed yet. He was very short too. He was standing on top of a house, watching curiously down at Chat and Ladybug.
Ladybug and Chat Noir were now trapped in a little purple box. Chat Noir seemed to be confused first, but he tried everything to get out of the box, he tried to break through it, then he tried using his stick to jump out like that, then he tried to hit the sides... Nothing seemed to work, they were tapped. When he tried to jump over, the walls got higher, and when he tried to hit and break through the sides got stronger and thicker. The only way out is to answer the question. Ladybug was very good in Math, Chat Noir struggled a lot more than Ladybug. But they needed more time than one minute to work out hard things like that in their heads.
'Never!' the two shouted at the boy, who for some weird reason still kept smiling down at them. That wasn't a friendly smile either, it was an evil smile.
The heroes needed to hurry up. They needed to solve the math problem, and save others. Plus they needed to stop Hawkmoth and Bombgenious. They needed to start thinking. They only had 40 seconds left...
39.. 38.. Time was going quick as they figured there was no other way out than working out these questions. What if this was a trap though? Well, they needed to try them out. Ladybug sat on the floor, watching Chat trying to get out.
'My Lady, I am afraid we are trapped in here.' he gave up trying to get out now, time was passing too quick.
'Let try the question then.' Ladybug sighed.
'But, Bugaboo, what if it is a trap?' he worriedly asked.
Ladybug stood up from sitting down now, she turned more toward her partner. He made a worried Cat face, but surprisingly he was still smirking.
'We'll have to take that risk...' Ladybug took a deep breath in and out, '(7x6)x10+4.' Ladybug was thinking but she didn't need more than two seconds to work it out, '424.' She said as the purple box disappeared around them.
'Wow My Lady, you impressed me.' he winked at Ladybug, who shook her head.
'Ok, here is the plan. I will go to the Eiffel Tower, and you should lure him towards the Eiffel Tower. I will be waiting for you there, and we will trap him. And take his miraculous, and save Paris. How does this sound?' she started at him. He was still smirking, it was like he could never stop smirking and smiling at people, it was it cost him nothing to smile. Like everyone got a piece of his smiles.
'This is a purrfect plan, M'Lady.' he tried to kiss her hands again.
'Call me if anything happens, ok?' She took her hands away from him before he could kiss them.
'Of course, Bugaboo.' he started to the sky as she flew in the sky (using her yo-yo), after all, she was a Ladybug. She was his Ladybug.
