In the previous chapter, Adrien feels like he has butterflies in the pit of his stomach when he thinks about Marinette. Plagg believes it is about time he notices her.

     In the current chapter, "Plagg, what if something happens to her?" Adrien asks.

    Adrien has a few flashbacks...

   He recalls he gave her his umbrella to keep dry in the rain.  Then, the day she smiled at him as she gave him a charm bracelet.  The day at Chole's party when he had his first dance with her.

 The day people saw them at the fountain and thought they were dating. The day she was in attendance at his fencing class and called him cute.

  The day of the class picnic when she kissed his cheek and made him blush. The day at the museum when he pretended to be a statue, she thought he was made of wax, and kissed his lips.

   End of Flashbacks...

  Adrien blushes at all these memories of him and Marinette. He thinks, I-I...

  Meanwhile, with Marinette who is in her seat on the airplane now.  She thinks, Florida here I come!    

    Later, as the plane takes off, Marinette writes in her journal.

     Dear Journal,

  As I travel and think back on my life, I wonder would things be different if I had told him?

   How can I be sure?   Well, I feel like I left a piece of my heart behind me in Paris, France.

   Well, here is my future life!

Marinette is sad and feels a tear fall down her cheek. 

 "Adrien, I miss you!" She mumbles under her breath.

"Who is Adrien?" The stewardess asks.

"He is a boy back home," Marinette says with a sad expression.

"Well, I sure it will be okay," The stewardess tries to reassure her.

"He does know that I love him!" Marinette says.

"Whoa, girl!  This sounds rough but if he is as great as you think he is then he will wait for you," The stewardess tells her.

"Yes, maybe, "Marinette says. She thinks, who am I kidding?

"Try to cheer up because when things are meant to be nothing can stop them,"  The airline woman says.

"Yes, you are probably right," Marinette says. She thinks, I hope so anyway.

  Back on the ground in Paris, France, Adrien blushes as the truth dawns on him.  

"Wait, I-I..." Adrien begins.

"You should have let her leave,"  Plagg says.

"I mean without an explanation as to why you missed the party, " Plagg remarks.

"Now, she might not want to speak to you anymore,"  Plagg says. He hears someone else and hides.

"Dude, she was rather upset when you did not come,"  Nino tells him.

"Yes, I know," Adrien says rather gloomy like.

    "Do not be too hard on him, it is his father's fault anyway,"  Natalie explains.

   "Mr. Agreste can be rather cruel at times," Natalie says.

"You mean Adrien's father did send the note that hurt Marinette?"  Nino asks.

"Yes, but it is..."Natalie begins.

"Wait, what note?" Adrien asks. His jaw drops because he did not know his father even sent a note the day Marinette had the party.  He should have known his father would pull something like this.

"It seems your father sent a note that told Marinette she is unsuitable for you," Natalie says. She looks at the ground as she speaks. She hates to be the giver of such bad news.

"He did what?  How could he?"  Adrien asks angrily.
