The day starts, as usual, Marinette is late for school.  She heads downstairs, with her backpack all set for the class. She hates the fact she slept through her alarm clock again. She smiles at her parents who both give her a look that says, you woke up ten minutes before school starts you better hurry.

    " Marinette here, take these cinnamon rolls with you to share with your friends," Tom and Sabine say together. Her parents hand her some that just came out of the oven.

   "Thanks, Mom and Dad!  I have to go, bye see you!"  Marinette calls out as she rushes out the door. She tries to be careful not to drop the baked goodies.

     Marinette enters the classroom right as the bell rings.  Miss Bustier tells her to give out the treats during the break time.  Marinette nods her head in agreement and takes her seat.

    Later during break time, Marinette gives everyone a cinnamon roll. She had enough for even the mean girls, Chloe and Sabrina to have one.  She can tell they enjoy them as they all talk about yummy they are to them.

    The odd thing is that even Chloe who usually hates food with carbs in it or sweets can not even think of something rude to say about them. 

     After school, Adrien's behavior is rather strange.  No one can seem to figure out what happened to him.  It seems he can not stop glancing at Marinette.

      Under normal circumstances a  guy staring at his crush is something he does anyway. In Adrien Agreste's case, his crush is unknown to anyone.  It seems it is not Lila, Chloe, or Kagami.  Everyone knows this as he has had made this clear many times.

     However, before today Adrien did not seem to notice Marinette.  Sure he talked to her, but not any different than anyone else.  He certainly did not take any special interest in her.  Yet, here he is acting like a lovesick boy when he sees her.

     "Is not Marinette great?" Adrien asks.

     "Uh, dude, since when have you been into Marinette?" Nino asks.

        Adrien looks like he is in a daze as Marinette and Alya walk past them. He ignores Nino to see what the girls are up to now.

      Alya laughs. "Marinette, did you see the way Adrien can not keep his eyes off you?  Girl, maybe he does have a crush on you!"  Alya says.

     "Alya, there is no way Adrien Agreste likes me,"  Marinette says.

     "Hi, Marinette!  You are the prettiest girl I have ever seen," Adrien says. He looks like he is in a daze.

      "Adrien, what on earth is the matter with you?" Marinette asks.  She knows he is her crush, but since when has he liked her?

      "I am fine, sweet angel.  I have never been better.  I shall follow you to the moon and beyond," Adrien says.  He has no idea how ridiculous he sounds right now.

    "Girl, he is all yours!"  Alya says, giggles and walks away with Nino.

     "Adrien, what are you doing with her?" Chole scoffs.

   "Chloe, leave this sweet lady alone. She is wonderful," Adrien says.

     "What?" Chloe asks. She walks off in disgust.

        Marinette hurries home with only one thing in mind, something is wrong with Adrien, it is up to her to find out what, and how to fix this.  As much as she likes the attention she gets from him, it does not seem quite right. It is almost as if  Adrien's Mesmerized!
