Adrien wonders if Marinette remembers the promise he made to her two years ago. He walks around New York City for a bit.  He stops when he sees the Empire State Building.  He knows it is a famous moment. He wishes Marinette were beside him to see it.

       Carol arrives at the Empire State Building. She sees an attractive, blond-haired, green-eyed boy as he glances at the building in awe. She decides to strike a conversation up with him.

       "It is amazing is it not?" Carol asks.

       "I suppose," Adrien says.

      "I am Carol, and you are?" She asks.

      "Adrien Agreste," He says.

       "Nice to meet you, Adrien.  See you around!" Carol walks away.

     Adrien thinks, Carol is nice, but my heart belongs to Marinette. He sighs as he thinks about the bluebell eyed, Bluenette back in Paris.  He wishes she were here with him. He walks around for a while, then returns to the apartment.

     Adrien goes to his room, and calls a familiar number. He can not wait to hear her voice again. He sighs when her voice mail picks up but decides to leave her a message.

     The following  is the voicemail Adrien leaves for Marinette:
        Hi, Marinette!  It is me, Adrien!  I hope you are all right. I miss you and hope to hear back from you soon, beautiful!

        Adrien finishes the message and hangs up the phone. He thinks so much for surprising her with a second phone call for the week. He hopes this does not mean she found someone else.  If so, he can not say he blames her. It has been years since he made her a special promise, one he doubts she even remembers.
