"Ha-ha,"I laughed and hid the letter somewhere my mom won't find it and took out my book and started doing my assignment when my mom came in my room

"Hey honey have you seen your brother anywhere, "

"Yeah he just went out,"

"What!This boy never listens,wait till he comes,"my mother shouted annoyed.

"Why can't he go out?" I asked her  acting clueless,  "and am the one who made him go out. I sent him  to go buy for me skittles,  my stash is over. "

"Young lady! He is grounded  that's why,"

"Oh mom I didn't know am sorry . Please let it pass for today . I really needed some skittles you know how I can't live without them mom, pleaaaaase,"I pleaded with a pout on my face knowing she won't be able to resist it.

"Argh . You and your pouting OK but when he comes back tell him he is still grounded,"

"OK thank you mom you are the best, "I told her and went to hug her.

"OK ,OK just go do your homework, I will call you when food is ready,"my mother said and made her way out while I was grinning the whole time..

I pulled out my phone from my pocket and messaged my brother

Me -You owe me,just got mom out of your back.

Bro -Thanks sis

Me -Ha-ha don't thank me yet. you haven't heard all of it yet.

Bro -What do you want

Me -Now that's like it . I told mom that you are out buying me skittles so when you come home I expect you to bring me skittles

Bro -Ha-ha  OK bye

Me -Wait listen If your going to take long just tell mom you couldn't find the flavour I wanted so you went to Mr sweets shop one hour from here. I hope that's enough .

" Adrianna wake up,you are going to be late for school"

"Five minutes mom please,"

"You can sleep but you have only 20 minutes to eight, "she replied.

"Thanks mom. Wait, what!Twenty minutes, "I  shouted and quickly got out of the bed  with one thought in mind "am dead" "Thank God my dad is out of town,"I silently thought . When my dad is away, my mom allows us to have breakfast wherever we want as it won't  be a family thing anymore without my dad's presence. So I can skip it to save time.

Ten minutes later

By mom,"I called out to my mom holding a packet of skittles. Ha-ha my brother bought me like twenty of them. I ran to my car and got in quick  but it didn't start. I tried again but still.
"Argh seriously. Of all the days to stop working you chose today,"I shouted, "stupid car,"I mumbled off when I heard a honk behind me . I got out of the car to see who was it only to see Ash instead on his bike.

"Red,I can see your car isn't starting, want a ride," he asked smirking.

"Sure,"I replied and shut my car's door and went and sat behind his bike. Ha-ha I know you all thought I  would say no . I would have if I wasn't going to be late.     

"Hold tight Red," he muttered and I held him tight  hoping that we reach school safely. Being so close to him brought butterflies to my stomach.

When we reached school everyone turned to look at us. Some girls  were giving me the hate look and for those who didn't, they just didn't care . I hate being the centre of attention so  I  muttered a  quick thank you to Ash and made my way to class knowing I had like three minutes till the bell rings.  I had maths the first lesson .I entered the class and went at the back of the class to sit only to find Tim and Blake."Hey you are back!"

"AWWW did someone miss us,"
Tim  gushed pinching my cheeks the whole Tim.

"First, "I spoke slapping his hands, "hands off my face . Second,nope I didn't miss you,I hoped you never return, "

"Too bad we are back  then Adrianna right,"Blake  said out of nowhere. I stood there confused whether he actually spoke to me or it was just my imagination till I saw him laughing.

"Ha-ha very funny,"

"S-sorry Adrianna but your f-face,"Blake  spoke laughing  together with Tim, "your face was so funny."

"Ha-ha, it's just that,I thought you hated me that's why I was surprised when you talked to me . For a minute I thought I was dreaming."

"Why would you think that?"Blake asked.

"You didn't utter a single word to me when Ally introduced me to you guys. Everyone talked to me except you."

"Oh,sorry I was just not in a good mood,I was pissed and if I had talked to you that day then it  would  not have been something nice,"he explained.

"OK so Ally told me you  guys had some important work out of town that's why you weren't in school. Hope everything is OK?I asked them worried.

"Yeah,"Everything is OK now,"Tim muttered  hesitantly.  For a second I thought I saw Blake's eyes turn dark but it didn't last long.

"Good,"I muttered and  sat next to Tim and faced in front paying attention to the teacher who started teaching immediately he arrived a second after I had sat down . But it was hard. I tried my best to pay attention to Mr Allan (physics) but I couldn't stop thinking about what the guys  are hiding from me.
