You wandered into an abandoned wasteland curiously; wondering where the heck you were.

You needed to find someone and ask for help.

"Haven't seen you around here before." A casual voice caught your attention and you turned around to see a group of people walking towards you.

"Must be a newbie." The girl in the beanie sighed uninterestedly.

"Don't be so rude Nea." The ginger haired girl scolded bluntly and the guy in glasses smiled at you.

"I'm Dwight, this is Meg, Nea and Ace." Dwight introduced everyone politely.

"Hello." Meg smiled.

"Yo." Nea nodded to you offhandedly.

"Pleasure to meet you." Ace stuck his hand out friendly and you shook it.

"I'm (Y/n). I'm not sure where I am." You admitted with a slight laugh.

"Uh what?" Nea snapped icily, pulling her beanie lower.

"You don't know where you are?" Dwight questioned blankly.

"No?" You answered unsurely and Nea began to laugh coldly.

"Great! So we have a newbie on our team and not only that - she doesn't even know what to do!" She huffed coolly as you felt bad.

"I'm sorry I don't understand, maybe if you tell me I can help you guys." You replied embarrassed.

"Nea, do us all a favour and shut up." Dwight retorted harshly and Meg bit her lip.

"Nea does have a point. We won't have a good chance of escaping if we suddenly decide to have a new person on our team." Meg expressed her opinion uncomfortably.

"That doesn't matter! We don't leave people behind." Dwight folded his arms sternly.

"Let's put it up to a vote then." Nea remarked maliciously and he narrowed his eyes.

"Fine." He agreed.

"What exactly are you guys voting about?" You asked curiously, shivering a bit from the cold breeze.

"Whether to help you out or leave you to your own devices." Ace told you unhappily.

"Hands up for leaving." Nea said clearly, shoving her own into the air.

Meg slowly slid hers up too, and so did Ace - both of them looking unbelievably guilty.

"Well looks like we've voted. See ya around newbie - hope you don't die." Nea waved fake-nicely and started walking away.

"Hope you survive. Sorry." Meg apologised ashamedly, hugging you quick before following.

"Survive from what?" You called after those two worriedly.

"This isn't right, but we are a group. Fuck. I'm sorry (Y/n)." Dwight turned away and so did Ace, leaving you alone again.

"Wait! What's going on? What am I suppose to be surviving from?" You yelled uneasily.

How rude...

Half an hour passed as you wandered around, feeling freezing-cold and on edge.

"How do I get out of here...?" You stopped for a minute to rub your frozen hands.

It was so chilly.

Suddenly you heard a clanging of bells and out of nowhere a person appeared in front of you.

He was tall and quite thin, wielding a bloody sceptre.

Is this what the others were warning you about?

"Hello..." You said faintly, taking a step back.

He frowned; his eyes shimmering with confusion.

Usually survivors ran, what was this one doing?

"Who...are you?" You continued tentatively, standing your ground as he looked you up and down.

"The Wraith." The Wraith told you shrewdly, just watching you.

"Should I be afraid?" Your question made him laugh slightly.

"Very." A smile tugged at his lips.

"What's your real name?" You asked softly and surprise ran across his face.

"Uh...Philip. Philip Ojomo." He answered your question quietly.

"Why is your sceptre bloody? And how did you appear out of thin air? Also why did people warn me about surviving? What-" Philip cut off all your questions by grabbing your wrist and pushing the tip of his weapon against the collar of your neck.

"You ask way too many questions." He said - slightly irritated.

"I'm sorry. I guess I'm just very confused as to what's going on." You gave an apologetic smile and his eyes softened.

"Who are you?" Philip repeated your question from earlier interestedly.

"My name is (Y/n) (L/n). It would be nice to meet you if you weren't holding a weapon to my throat, y'know?" You joked lightly, making him grin.

"Hello (Y/n)." He greeted pleasantly - lowering his weapon, but he didn't let go of your wrist.

"Can you please answer my questions? No one else will." You begged despairingly.

"I would've thought the scummy little survivors would've told you about everything; including me." Philip winked wickedly and you shook your head.

"They left me to survive on my own. They called me a newbie and just left me to it." You pouted embarrassed as he face shifted into one of concern.

"That's a bit harsh, considering I might've killed you." He said sympathetically, saying the last part quietly so you couldn't hear.

"Huh?" You tried to get him to say the last bit again but he shook his head.

"I'll answer your questions. I appeared out of thin air because I can cloak myself and become invisible. They warned you about me because I'm dangerous. Anything else?" Philip answered them slyly.

"What about the sceptre?" You pointed out nervously and he looked at it.

"Just some paint." He lied carelessly.

"You can't expect me to believe that." You retorted swiftly; hurt that he thinks you're some kind of idiot.

He took ahold of your chin gently and forced it upwards; so you were looking right into his dark eyes.

"What do you think it is?" Philip smirked mischievously as you felt a little unnerved.

"I'd prefer not to say what I think it is." You responded weakly.

"Let's just leave it at that then." He said matter-of-factly, releasing your face.

"Come along, (Y/n)." Philip grabbed your hand and started walking.

"Where are we going?" You asked puzzled, following him anyway.

"You don't want to be all alone do you? Bad things happen if you are." He purred deviously as his grip on you tightened.

"Will bad things happen if I follow you?" You inquired seriously.

"You're very quick." Philip marvelled admiringly and you arched an eyebrow.

"So bad things will happen to me if I follow you." You went to pull your hand out of his when he pointed his weapon at you.

"Ah, ah, ah~ I actually like you, so I wouldn't." He chuckled darkly.

"Why are you making me follow you?" You asked fearfully.

"I don't want to kill you, but I don't want you running out of those exit doors. So you can see the predicament I'm in." Philip smiled innocently, giving your hand a squeeze.

"Why me though?" You quizzed him, your curiosity sparking.

"Because you didn't run from me." He brought his mouth up to your ear to whisper that warmly, making you shiver.

"You're welcome?" Your uncertainty made it another question.

"And because I really like you." Philip kept going, continuing to walk again.

"We just met." You pointed out shyly - feeling awkward.

"That doesn't matter to me, I've been alone for so many years - I don't have time to wait any longer." He told you impatiently and suddenly his lips brushed across yours; forcing you into a kiss.

Feeling lightheaded and too tired to argue, you closed your eyes and just let it happen.

"Now then my pet~" Philip grinned,"~let me show you around."
