"Well look who's back." Cam grinned and high-fived her bloody buddy as the dark-haired female danced back towards the campfire.

"Ayyyyy, it's good to be out of the trials~" The legacy player greeted pleasantly, flopping onto a tree log.

"Who'd you face this time?" Fellow survivor Moon asked, shifting her position by the fire.

"I faced my old friend; Billy Boy." Ryo replied comedically as she rubbed her hands to warm up.

"What happened?" Sav chimed in curiously, readjusting her black beanie.

"He spent all his time trying to get me and then I merrily skipped out of the match. You've just got to have a will of Iron and a Calm Spirit." Ryo declared with a bubbly laugh and everyone joined in.

"I wonder who's going to be called into the next match." Moon mused uncomfortably, fixing her faded cap.

"I'm in, that was hella fun." Ryo immediately jumped in; being reckless but courageous as usual.

"I'm going. I want to try out my new Sprint Burst, and Sav just taught me Balanced Landing." Cam remarked cheerily, making Ryo frown.

"You should stay here." The older girl chided, being protective of her younger friend.

"Nah, I got this, I learnt how to spin yesterday." Cam responded - ready to argue.

"I'll join the team. I'm the stealthy one." Sav smiled warmly as she straightened out her checkered shirt.

"I guess someone's gotta monitor the team. I hereby nominate myself as leader." Moon dryly remarked.

Cam and Ryo were still arguing about whether or not Cammie should go.

"I'm just saying, you're still tired from when you got tunnelled by Myers, so take a longer rest!"

"I'm perfectly fine, so don't worry!"

"You're not fine, you've been getting dizzy spells again!"

"They're no big deal. I'm going. End of." Cam was stubborn as a mule, not budging on this, and Ryo sighed; knowing she couldn't win.

Cam was unrelenting with her determined persona, and so the mother-like friend gave in.

"Fine. But don't even think about getting into a chase, nerd." Ryo rolled her eyes with a smile before pulling the not-as-experienced player into a hug.

"Well let's go! What are we waiting for?" Moon hyped up the team and you all glanced at each other.

"We're waiting for our leader to lead us into battle." Sav mocked slyly, nudging the other girl.

"I need to Prove Thyself it seems. C'mon then gals, to the next match!" Moon shot back in enthusiasm, and stood up.

"Hold on I wanna take a flashlight!" Cam rushed to her collection of items she brought back from games and picked up a Rare Flashlight; with a Long Life Battery and High-End Sapphire Lens.

"Dang Cammie, that item and those add-one are quite rare. How did you find them?" Sav questioned interestedly, and the brown-eyed girl gave a smug smile.

"Let's just say I have a Plunderer's Instinct." Cam wickedly answered, twirling the Sports Flashlight in her hand as she followed her team.

"Good luck everyone." Moon murmured kindly, walking into the Thick Mist.

They all followed and their consciousness began to fade; their very souls being transported to another dimension.

Ryo spawned alone, waking up on the harsh, damp ground and sitting up.

"Macmillan Estate...huh." She muttered, starting a dead generator.

Seconds ticked by like they were nothing, the cool air tickling the female's forehead as she worked hard to earn her escape.

"haHAA!" Ryo cheered victoriously, the generator coming to life with a bright beam.

1 down, 4 to go!

She waited for the intense heartbeat to take effect; the warning signal of the killer...but it didn't come. Strange. Something was amiss.

"Something's wrong." Ryo mumbled, running around aimlessly.

A pained scream rang out and she recognised it as Cam's, resulting in panic rising to the Rank 1's throat. She had to help. Right now.

Ryo ran in the direction of the agonised howl, and she saw her distressed friend pallet looping; holding her waist. Blood dripped down her abdomen, but the shorter girl was determined not to go down - gritting her teeth through the pain.

"Cam!" Ryo shouted her name in alarm, causing the devious Trapper and the hunted friend to be aware of her presence.

"Good to see you Ryo~" Evan Macmillan told her, his tone sugary-sweet as he stamped on a wooden barricade.

Cam tried to shine the powerful flashlight at the burly killer, but he was Lightborn, so not much effect took place. Grinning, he raised his sticky cleaver and strode towards her; ready for his first victim to be hooked.

"NO!" Ryo roared and engulfed her friend in a hug, waiting for the impact of the sharp weapon to slice her shoulder.

"Mmm, what a brave little move that was. But I'm not trying to hurt you, kitten, I'm here to hurt the others." His grin grew more sinister as he grabbed her waist.

"W-What...?" Ryo gasped out, confused as hell, and groaned when he tossed her lightly to the ground.

"So stay out of the way, sweetness." Evan ordered with a sick smile as he resumed the chase on Cammie; striding towards her.

"No! Cam, run..." Ryo coughed, getting herself off the ground quickly.

She sprinted after them; even standing in Evan's way, but he just wasn't attacking her. In fact he felt smug when he saw the frustrated expression across the expert survivor's face, seeing the fiery determination in his mate's eyes. His mate. He liked the sound of that.

"NOO!!" Ryo screamed in anger, seeing Cam go down.

The Trapper simply slugged her; now going over to the irritated Ryo. She tried to run away, hurrying towards a pallet, but he was faster. Evan pinned her against a bricked wall, smirking at her defeated state, and tilted her chin up.

"Look's like you're a little Agitated there, sweet cheeks~" He chuckled, his deep voice echoing around the daunting walls.

"This is hardly the time for good puns, my best friend is bleeding out!" Ryo hissed in retaliation, but she had to admit; that was a pretty good pun.

"So what if she is? You're not going anywhere, you're my small game." Evan retorted smoothly, ignoring her struggling.

"This is not the time! Let~Me~Go!" She complained heatedly.

Pink covered her cheeks as he pulled up his mask just about his mouth and pressed his chapped lips against hers; silencing her complaints.

"I can't," Evan whispered psychotically,"~you're my Object of Obsession."
