21. Nurse x Dwight

The neatly-haired male crept towards the asylum, terror trickling into his veins as the heavy atmosphere made it hard to think.
Was there any other people around this area? Where even was this area, anyway?
Dwight stiffened in fright when a psychotic screech rang out across the lonely land, followed by an agonised scream.
Someone bumped into him, and he almost jumped out of his skin from shock.
"My bad fam, didn't mean to scare ya." A dark-haired girl apologised bluntly, fixing her beanie that rested atop her head.
"I-It's okay." Dwight stammered shyly, as he took in her appearance.
She wore a red, checkered shirt with black pants; both garments of clothing splattered with fresh blood, along with her confident face.
"The name's Nea, Nea Karlsson. What about you nerd? What do they call ya?" Nea introduced lazily, holding out her rough hand.
"Dwi-Dwight Fairfield, Ma'am." Dwight replied - insanely polite as he shook her hand - and she threw back her head, laughing.
"Ma'am? What in the fuck?" She scoffed, snickering.
"I'm sorry." Dwight awkwardly mumbled.
"Uh anyways, come help me do a generator." Nea seized his wrist and pulled him inside of the asylum.
"A-A generator?" He repeated curiously as he readjusted his black-rimmed glasses.
"Are you deaf? Yes a generator." She sarcastically snorted, getting to work.
"Why are we doing a generator? I don't even know how I got here." Dwight asked, confusion colouring his tone.
"Wait, bibbity bobbety, back the fuck up. You don't know how to play the game?" Nea stopped what she was doing in disbelief.
"I apologise but I'm afraid not." He shook his head unhappily.
"Fuck this, I'm not dying because of a newbie." She growled selfishly and hopped out of the conservatory-like window.
"Wait! What game is this? Who are we escaping from? Please don't leave, I'm sorry!" Dwight ran to the window, begging for the beanie-wearing female to stay.
"Laters dude. Go find Detty or Ace if you want to be fawned over." Nea shrugged, sprinting off into the crumbling ruins.
Dwight bit his lip, feeling even more stressed than he did before.
What game was he and supposed others playing? What was lurking in the shadows?
His heart sped up just worrying about which wild animals might be hunting in this place.
Another harsh howl was heard and he yelled out in alarm when a ghostly being swung a bone-saw down onto the generator.
"I could've sworn I heard that Nea over here!" The woman growled viciously, and Dwight gawked at her.
She was dressed like some sort of primeval, medical nurse. The woman had an elastic bag over her head, cruel creases where her eyes and mouth should be. She wore a flowing, cream-coloured gown tied back by a thick, leather belt. Her thin, pale gloves went up to her elbows, and she wielded a sharp bone-saw; the edges glinting like ferocious teeth.
"And who may I ask, are you?" The ghost nurse asked the shaking survivor in surprise, lowering her weapon.
"D-Dwight Fairfield M-Miss..." Dwight stuttered, too afraid to even speak.
Sally drifted closer, inspecting the scared male shrewdly. He reminded her of her past husband Andrew, especially his pretty eyes and posture. Dwight intrigued her, making Sally realise she didn't want to kill him yet and so she cocked her head.
"Dwight was it?" The woman asked - her tone as sweet as honey - and he nodded timidly.
"Say, Dwight, have you seen a little bitch in a red flannel shirt and a beanie? If you tell me where she went, I'll keep you alive a little longer." She promised deviously, running her fingers along the edge of her bone-saw.
"S-She went that way Ma'am." Dwight pointed towards the uneven path that Nea had took, not even caring about the rude girl.
"My, my, such a polite young man. Thank you kindly~" Sally chuckled, giving a little curtsy.
Dwight watched the pale lady as she stretched her hand out in front of her, and then closed her fist tightly.
That must be how she teleports.
"Wait! Sorry, but are you?" He wondered weakly, still recovering from the scare.
"My name is Sally Smithson, and I'm the killer that haunts this place." Sally introduced herself with a pleasant giggle.
"K-Killer?" Dwight whispered, backing away slightly.
"Mmhm. Now if you'll excuse me~" She teleported away with another high-pitched cry.
The geeky survivor stood there for a few moments before breaking out into a sprint, hurrying away from the abandoned asylum.
He had to get out of here!
Running towards a tall, steel gate, Dwight came to a halt; trying to open the door. He pulled the rusty lever, but it only creaked and snapped back up.
"The generators must be to power the exit gates." He put two-and-two together, sighing.
"I hope you weren't thinking of leaving me, Mr Fairfield." Dwight jumped at the sound of Sally's soft, yet stern voice.
"I-I-I, um well actually I-uh..." His voice shook with nerves as she gave a tinkling laugh.
"Because that's not going to happen. I like you, you see." She gently grabbed ahold of his chin and tilted it up; so she could gaze into his clear cerulean orbs.
"Y-You do?" Dwight quizzed incredulously, pink plastering his cheeks.
"You remind me of my old husband, except you might be a little cuter~" Sally murmured seductively, stroking the edge of his face.
"Thank you Sally." Dwight's blush grew deeper, and she chuckled again.
"Aren't you a little gentleman, hmm?" She purred as she pinned him against the door.
"And you're very pretty." He complimented, his face reddening.
"Aww, thank you my dear~" Sally breathed warmly, and Dwight's heart fluttered.
With a delicate hand, Sally pulled up the bag to above her mouth and kissed him sweetly; stunning the shy male. Dwight didn't expect a psychotic nurse to fall in love with him, but to be honest, it's not the worst thing that's happened to him.
Hope you enjoyed - Cammie ^-^
