Karino Makoto:

Appearance:
Karino has long, silky, waist-length silver hair and purple eyes, a dominant gene from her mother's side. She's 4 feet 8 inches, and often complains about her height and how she's going to get neck damage from having to look up all the time. She's very petite, but despite how thin and weak she might look, she's fully trained as a martial artist. In general, people often imagine her as a cute puppy walking by and often enjoy admiring her adorable-ness, but if they get too close, she will bite. 

Personality: 
Karino is very shy when around people she doesn't know. It is especially difficult for her in new environments if her brother isn't there because she has a horrible sense of direction, but is too shy to ask for directions, so she just ends up wandering. Once she gets accustomed, she becomes very friendly and almost child-like. In general, she's a musical prodigy and academically can graduate from college already, but both she and Watanuki choose to go to school anyways for their own reasons. She's an avid fan of anime and sweets. In general, she tries her best to not upset anyone and gets scared easily when there are fights. Her reflex when scared is to attack. However, she tries her best to not use her skills in martial arts, unless necessary.

Karino has a 'second personality' which they call 'Dark Karino.' Dark Karino comes out when she's woken up before she's ready to wake up, or if she sees candy or cake being taken away from her. A merge of Karino and Dark Karino comes out when her valued friends and family are threatened, and it is the most dangerous 'form' of Karino.

Watanuki Makoto:

Appearance:
Watanuki has silky silver hair and purple eyes like his sister. a dominant gene from her mother's side. He's 6 feet 2 inches. His figure is very slim and he looks easy to pick on, but in reality, he too is a trained martial artist. Among the girls at Ouran Academy before he joins the host club, he appears very cool and collected. However, once they go to the host club, he becomes the brotherly type and fusses a lot over Karino. 

Personality: 
Watanuki appears very cool and collected when separated from Karino. He's an artistic genius and sells his work to help pay for his family expenses, though he isn't as known as Karino and only started selling them the past year. Academically, he is smart enough to graduate from college with a degree, but he chose to stay at Ouran with his sister for their own reasons. Generally speaking, he dislikes anime and otakus and tries to avoid all instances where he could be surrounded by them. 

Watanuki is very protective of his younger sister, hence the brotherly type, and is ready to give himself up in a heartbeat if it meant that she would be safe. When it comes to friends, he doesn't really hold the same feeling and will weigh the pros and cons before choosing to make a move. Despite also being a master martial artist, he also tries to avoid using his skills unless he has to. The only other time he doesn't refrain from going all out is if Karino is in danger, though the instances of that are low since she can usually protect herself.
