Anyways here's Mark Evans:

Superpowers: Summoning Fire, controlling fire.

Backstory: Boring Childhood, abducted at 14 with his friend Paolo.

Paola revealed they both had superpowers, but the kidnapper killed him before they could say anything. His last words said to go to the fountain at Central Park on his birthday.

Mark's powers eventually lash out, and kills the kidnapper. He goes to Central Park.

He meets a druggie who asks if he knows Paolo. Mark says yes and the druggie tells him to follow her.

They meet in an abandoned building. She taps on the wall and a door opens, where a secret tunnel, which leads to an academy where they teach people with powers how to fight.

You can continue from there. Or you could change some stuff  I don't care about them anymore.
