Monster Under My Bed
Hey, I've done a lot of focusing on Virgil(except for the last story) so this one is going to be more based on Roman. Sorry if you like the Virgil stories better lol. Alrighty, enjoy.

"D-Daddy," Roman cried out as he curled into a tight ball and pulled his crown blanket over his head. "Father! Dad!" Patton sat up and grabbed his glasses off of his nightstand. "Logan, Romans calling us. Somethings wrong." Logan also sat up and rubbed his eyes. "I heard..I'll go check on him." Patton nodded and laid back down. "Come get me if you need to, okay love?" Logan nodded as he felt around his nightstand for his glasses. "Where are they," he muttered as he trned on his nightlight. "Dad!! Please," Roman pleaded as he shook in his bed. Patton sat up and bolted out of bed. "I'll go," he informed Logan as he ran out the door. "W-What's happening," Virgil questioned as he also stepped into the hallway. "Virgil, if you're scared go to Logan okay," Patton instructed as he ran past his son. "O-Okay..I hope Roman's alright." Patton opened the door to Romans room and turned on the light. "What's wrong kiddo?" Roman sobbed and poked his head out from under his blanket fortress. "D-Daddy," he cried as Patton came closer to his bed. "It's okay kiddo," Patton stroked Romans hair tenderly, "You're okay. Daddy's here." Patton shushed his son and continued to stroke his hair. A couple minutes later, Roman finally came out from under the blanket and curled up into Patton's lap. "Sh, you're okay. What happened kiddo," Patton questioned as he dried a stray tear from his sons cheek. "T-There's a m-m-monster under my bed," Roman whispered as he pointed to the floor, just in case Patton forgot where under his bed was. "Oh..I see," Patton whispered with fake terror. "Well, we're gonna have to fight it and tell it to go away, Wont we?" Roman gasped and looked at Patton with wide, teary eyes. "What?! Are you crazy? It'll get us both and then Father and Virgil will be all alone," Roman cried out as Patton chuckled. "NO way. A smart, brave, strong kid against a dumb, weak, cowardly monster?" Patton walked over to Romans toy chest and grabbed two fake swords. "It doesn't stand a chance," Patton confidently declared as he tossed the foam sword to his son. "And we're together. Nothing can beat us." Roman stood up, took a deep breath and nodded. "You're right Dad." Roman took a heroic stance and joined Patton in the center of the room. "Let's defeat this fiend." Patton nodded in mock seriousness and steppe towards the bed. "Okay, I'm lifting the blanket in 3." Romans hands started to shake as Patton grabbed the corner of his quilt. "2." Roman shook his head and held out his sword. "1!" Patton pulled up the blanket and looked under the bed. Roman ran forward to protect his Dad and looked under the bed. "Nothing..Nothing's under there." Patton nodded and took Romans sword. "But..But it was there a minutes ago," he complained as he sat on his bed. "Well Roman, monsters aren't real." Roman looked up and sighed. "Is this a life lesson?" Patton chuckled and joined his son. "You bet. You see Roman, you let your imagination get the best of you. There wasn't really a monster under your bed. But you believed it so much that it became real," Patton began as Roman sat on his lap again. "Now, your imagination can be the most amazing thing in the world, but it can also be the worst. You just need to decide if you're going to trick yourself into believing 'falsehoods' as your Father would say. Or if you're going to use your imagination to make your life better and possibly even make others happy." Roman smiled and hugged Patton tightly . "Not everyone has the same gift as you do Roman. You craft your own worlds and stories like it's no problem. Embrace it okay?" Roman nodded and Patton kissed his forehead.
(Meanwhile with Logan and Virgil ha ha, you thought it was over)
"Father, how do you comfort someone?" Logan paused Bolt and looked at Virgil. "What do you mean," he questioned as Virgil cuddled closer to his side for warmth. "You and Dad always comfort me, and I want to be able to do the same for Roman." Logan internally 'awed' and wrapped his arm around Virgil. "Well what do Patton and I do?" Virgil close his eyes and yawned. "You..let me know you're there. Remind me that I'm not alone and I can always talk to you. And tell me how much I matter." Logan smiled and kissed Virgil's cheek. "Well, that's what you do." Virgil nodded and sat up. "What are you doing?" Virgil scooted off the bed and smiled. "i'm going to comfort my brother." Logan actually, literally, verbally awed.
